I've used the heavy bomber a lot and I can confidently say it is my favorite plane and one of the most underrated ones. It's actually quite OP if you know what your doing. I've scored big in it plenty of times. First of all, the first loadout, "Strategic Bomber" is best used on Operations. It serves as more of a suppressive role. If pass, you will do about 400-600 damage on Operations if you hit the average crowded area. You'll get about 1 or 2 kills, but 400-600 damage is great for loosing up the enemies for your teammates. The "Demolition Bomber" is my favorite and the best and most versatile out of all the other bombers. It's very effective at taking out vehicles as well as infantry. I've actually gotten quite a lot of double kills, where I've dropped my bombs and it will destroy two vehicles at once. With the repair mechanism, and a repair guy in the forth seat, your good on healthy. AAs are actually useless when you got a repair guy. I've destroyed AAs and laughed at them plenty of times for trying to kill me. Another great use for the Demolition Bomber is that I've actually found it is the best vehicle for taking out the Dreadnaught. No kidding, it makes the torpedo bomber look useless. You'll take out a huge chunk of health on the Dreadnaught, as well as get part and turret disables quite easily where torpedo boats can't. When you are flying high and have a guy repairing, again the Dreadnaught is not even a threat to you. You just gotta drop your bombs and your good. The Demolition Bomber actually has a tad bit more fire power then the normal vanilla bomber in the game. The Support Bomber is best used on Operations and is good at getting getting people off the objectives. If you see the radius of the incendiaries, you'll know what I'm talking about. The smoke is great for when your team needs cover, or they just don't push up and you want to block their view because they are all sniping. The care package is quite useful if you deploy it int the right areas. I know because I've gotten most resupplies several times now from only being in the Bomber. Seats: The back seat is great for shooting down planes on your tail. It takes 3 shots with The HE cannon to just shoot the other guy out of his seat, which my gunners tend to have no problem doing. The third position, which is the top mounted gunner is actually frowned upon, but is actually quite useful as well. I've found the use for that seat to be best at chasing down other bombers/planes and shooting them down. Bombers take seconds to kill in that seat and planes are easy to kill as long as your pilot is flying well and giving you a good shot on the enemy pilot. The fourth seat is pretty self exclamatory. You just repair. You can also get grenades and chuck it out the bomber. Not really that effective throwing grenades, but you actually get resupplied and healed if you are a passenger in the bomber. Again, a lot of people don't like the new bomber because they haven't really figured out how to properly use it, but it is a gym if you get the right crew.

Maybe it is weak because you are dropping a shotgun of darts from high altitude? And those darts MIGHT be spreading out over the distance they fall?

Guys - put together a 4 man crew - and try that trick at 3:02 to go around capping flags - would be hilarious if you can pull it off!!

You gotta use the the second load out to actually kill people, it has 5 small yellow bombs and 2 bigger black bombs. That load out is waaaaaaaaaaaay better than the one your using currently

The year is 2020. The Muromets reigns supreme over the battlefield. Each pass guarantees dozens of kills.

The problem is that it's backwards. The HE gunner should be facing FORWARD and the AA gunner should be facing BACKWARD. -_-

The other day I switched to the rear gunner seat in my attack plane to kill an enemy fighter on my six and some guy spawned in and took my plane from me. The part that pissed me off was that he ignored all of my get out requests!😬

Alright Niccaman check this out when i use it its great, heres my formula. The heavy bomber has a huge set off health. A support player just repairs it. The huge set of ammo makes it great for lined enemies like a strip on snipers. Bombing runs are more beneficial then higher attacks the health and repair man can litterally change the battlefield. U just need a good squad and good landinds with the bombs and then Niccaman will be known as the best pilot for bombing and dogfighter on Battlefield 1 leading to more subs. i remember when the darts on the trench fighter plane were really good. then dice made them really bad so we need a good balance

The seat number 4 also gives you unlimited gadgets for whatever gadget you're using, such as spot flares, limpets, dynamite, crossbow and rifle grenades and so on...

I don't understand why this bomber is getting hate. It's an absolute tank. Two of the seats can deal with ground targets, one with air targets, and the last one constantly repairs you. If you had a full squad all communicating, you can do some serious work and possibly change the course of an Operation.

Did all my repair assignment on this thing. Just spawned on one and sitting at the door... Very fun and engaging.

Honestly,i think this heavy bomber can be amazing with the right loadout and good teamates to keep it up in the air.

Slow the low end speed down to allow for more precision, buff the blast radius and damage of the bombs, allow for all bombs to be dropped at once. That's all balanced by this plane taking til Christmastime to get turned around

You can score big with it! I can pull off 50-60 kill games in it. I just head into Operations, select the version that has the heavy bombs and light bombs, fly as high as you can and hammer the points because that's usually where the enemy is.

Use the heavy demolition bomber for anti-armor and auto-repair. Circle the objectives so that your gunners can pepper infantry. Make passes with the heavier bombs to take out armor. Repair seat combined with auto-repair should keep you up forever even if you're circling relatively low

Steps to fun in heavy bomber: 1. Obtain bomber. 2. Turn the bomber upside down. 3.Elevator down (what would be a dive if right side up). 4.Enjoy.

The bomber has the problem that if it fly's to low , it can easily get one shot-ed by a tank, and if it fly's too high to be safe you can't get any kills from that height. Plus the fact that it only drops 1 bomb at a time means you will be missing most of your shots due to slower deploy rate. The only map i find it useful on is Albion because there are no tanks and almost no AA guns so it's much safer to fly lower and get more accurate kills. It looks like only the Air-burst shells can get kills consistently because of the range of its splash damage.

The airburst is what makes this thing a beast.

NICCA, PLEASE INVESTIGATE THIS and do a video on it if u find it's worthy. Not sure if anyone else has brought this up, but I stumbled across another glitch with the heavy bomber while messing around on an empty server. If you roll the aircraft upside down it becomes extremely easy to pitch down and change direction almost on a dime. (At least on XB1 using a controller.) I played around with this for roughly 15 min and was able to drop a load of bombs, roll upside down, and pitch down bringing me back to level flight facing the opposite direction in 2-3 seconds rather than 20-30 seconds turning normally. This reversal happens just in time to finish a full reload and drop another barrage on the same target/building I had just hit. Also, you do not have to be completely inverted to produce the effect; anything past 90 degrees to either side will produce this effect making it extremely handy with a plane on ur tail. They see you roll and think u r gonna pitch up and slowly start to turn, but instead you pitch down and quickly disappear from their view. I did try this on a full server and while it did work just as before I wasn't able to evade fighters quite as easily as I thought I would. Please give this a try for yourself. I rarely comment on videos, so I definitely wouldn't take the time to type this if I thought it would be a waste of yours. Cheers and keep the awesome vids coming!

5:30 ish mark he levels out for his gunner. More people need to do this bc it’s so hard to fire back at planes when the pilot is doing barrel rolls and twists

The big problem with the trench loadout is that the bomber is meant to flight high so by the time the darth have reached the ground they have already spread. The demolition loadout is sooooo much better compared to this one

The strategic bomber is literally the most OP thing in battlefield, I mean it rivals even the 10-A Hunter in power. I’ve been on a 126 kill streak with that thing. Getting a 20 multikill in one pass is so satisfying

My favorite ways of getting repair objectives is to just follow a heavy tank around, get in the back and pop out to repair it, repeat

I've been on so many streaks with the heavy bomber. The tactic is to fly low, and DON'T use the trench darts. Also drop the bombs just before the reticle is over the enemies.

To get the 50 repair points just spawn in the heavy bomber as a support with the repair tool and just repair the plane whenever it takes damage

Nicca you should try the firestorm bomber. You just drop everything onto infantry and you get so many kills, like double kills to quad kills

You know your “conditions” to get kills was actually the conditions in the war. Men were crowded in the trenches 24/7. The bombers paved the way to iconic bombers like the B-17 and B-29

If they would make it so that you could release all your payloads at once, that would make this a lot more powerful for starters.

I went 72-0 with the bomber on operations. The formula is high altitude long runs back and fourth and focusing on destroying stationary AA in each run. Time consuming but every bombing run I would get on average 3-5 kills.

I have gotten MANY multi kills with smart bombs leading to over 2000 points in KOs alone, easily getting over 100 kills a game, best use on operations.

For me this plane is not an anti infantry bomber, it NEVER fares well against them, for me its a Absolute Tank Devastator, I've cleared A7Vs, Mk. Vs and Chamonds in one pass and Soloed a Char 2C in about fifteen passes, all in one game, other things I've done with it are Soloing a Train in ten passes, smashing the rock bridge at Sinai including its camper inhabitants, Destroying the Village at St. Quentin and the guys in it, Tried to Solo a Dreadnought and got Rekt by the AA, And exploded the Coastal Batteries at Albion, but after all these except for the first I got hit by a fighter, my gunner bailed out and the fighter wrecked me. So its really an Anti-Vehicle, Air Superiority Vehicle

This bomber is nothing but a huge target that the enemy quickly and easily takes down.

Its funny when you fly a plane and you friend is repairing you constantly next to impossibly to kill it

I got a 22 kill multi-kill with this bomber on Fao Fortress by dropping the full payload of cluster bombs on objective A (The first base the enemy can capture at the start).

Hey Nic. I don't think that they fixed the heavy Bomber turning glitch. I think you can still be able to turn upside down

You need to change the load out for the bomber, maybe the strategic bomber load out, my best score has been 87 for 10 just using the bomber

Geting kills in bombers is all about leading the targets, the bombs keep going forward if they are dropped

You can also just take an approach and land the normal way. Have a friend get in, and repair it for him

You have to be low to use the trench darts. Way up, they do less and they fade out of existance before they even hit the ground

What about a plane not designed for combat but for people to drop out of onto objectives? So maybe one that carries 7 people other than the pilot

The trick is to wait until someone spawns, then switch and since they don’t wanna die they will take over. That’s how I got mine

The damned thing loses altitude and tilts if you don't keep control of it every 5 seconds, and it's so damn easy to hit, had about 7 different MGs shooting at me from 5 different points.

If they removed the darts and switched them with buck shells that travel a far distance, would be OP in my opinion.

Bombers are almost indestructible.

Hey when you are in the heavy bomber go almost strait down onto the enemy then pull up hard once to you do two bomb drops it works ten time better

the problem with this bomber are the anti-infantry, have those "bomb" that u use on the small plane, which is far more efective, cause the play tipe of that plane if u replace those, for the frag bombs, that the attack plane, and standar bomber have, it will solve a lot of problems (maybe even 32 (double bomber standar, like it double attack plane), are a bit to heavy, but idk, what aboout 24?) and the anti-vahicle variant need more bombs... like a lot, the standar bomber have the same, and teorically, the new heavy bomber can cargo the double the third variant......... idk what they where thinking when they desing this its complete weird ps: english is not my mother languaje as u can read

this bomber is basically a giant flying tampon.

this bombers loadout is like dropping sticks and rocks at the enemy from 300 meters.

What I like about it is that when I see the enemy deploy it, I know there's four of their team doing stuff all to contribute to their efforts. Even if you pick up a few kills with it.. meh.

The infantry load out is bad cause they nerfed the darts on the fighter. So why would the damage on the super bomber trench darts be any different?

It's a good bomber if you have a good crew working together

Theres too many vehicles, weapons, and explosives that are too far outgunned, making a certain weapon meta. One Hellriegel can clean rooms from the damage and mag size, Assault tanks being a quicker and smaller breakthrough heavy tank (I would call that an advantage), and the mini grenade being a useless version of the impact grenade. They need to have more effective uses to make them different others.

My friend's grades dropped harder than this plane drops bombs...

i always have to fly super low to do well with the heavy bomber... the darts are a lot better from a lower height... still suck, but not as much.
