The real question should be: Can the Hulk stop the Viltrumite invasion without destroying the world?

Hulk's thunderclaps, especially WB and IH, can take out waves of Viltrumites. Their only play is to destroy the planet and run away. Hulk becomes like a legendary monster (i.e. Midgard Serpent) in their lore and something never to be fought but avoided.

Don't forget about Hulk's thunder clap.. the Viltrumites have very sensitive ears. That is their weakness.

From what I’ve learned from the series is that viltrumite are weakened by loud sounds to the ear, so one loud clap from Hulk can disorientate even the strongest Viltrumite and then the Slaughter begins.

Even in a simulation against Superman Hulks thunderclap has stunned him and Gladiator ( both trying to fly him into space ), and if it stuns them.... it's a no brainer against Viltramites!

Even if you could argue that the Vitrumites could outsmart Hulk, that would depend on which personality Hulk is. World Breaker Hulk is smart enough to think tactically & is a warrior. Even Savage Hulk adopts during combat. Even though Hulk can’t fly or travel at speeds comparable to Vitrumites, Hulk’s reactionary speed has tagged and countered characters at similar if not greater speeds.

With enough running ground the hulk can out run anything if he's angry enough. A viltrumites best chance at survival is to fly really far and really fast and hope the hulk doesn't want to chase them

The comics have admitted that Hulks strength is potentially limitless, which means he could one shot Eternity if mad enough. No one beats Hulk in destructive potential.

I'm going to strike a nerve here, but.....a quick question...can the Hulk fly or teleport? Not just around a town any in space much less interstellar distances? If OM can throw an asteroid the size of Texas back into space, don't you think one of them could throw HULK into space, especially with their speed and numbers. Hell, Mark threw a bag of trash into space the exact minute he got his powers, when he was a "wimp". It only takes one. What is Hulks play then? Once he is in space he is just going to float there. If the planet were to break up, Hulk would have the same issues. Now, if they just stand with him and trade blows, I'll give it to the big guy.

People have calculated Marks speed from the comics. When he really wants to get somewhere, he can go 1,559,139,780x the speed of light. In the show Omni-Man traveled at 41,533,284x FTL. (It starts to show at the end of Season 2 when Mark is flying, light starts shifting spectrum's around him.) Not quite sure the newtons of force that brings, but I would think it comes with a mist of blood.

About the only character in comics Hulk doesn't solo is Cosmic Armor Superman...and that's because the fight would rip whatever universe they're in to atoms.

What if All father, The Immortal Thor, was to go against the Vultrumite Empire or at least against Thragg himself. I would love to see that video. Or better yet, The Avengers roster consisting of The Mighty Thor, Ironman, The Sentry, Hyperion, Hercules, The Thing, Namor, She-Hulk, Captain Marvel and The Blue Marvel combined defending the Earth against the entire Vultrumite Empire

Any viltrimite that tries to grab hulk to fly him to space is getting ripped in half.

The thing is ... the more Viltrumite attacks Hulk, the more angrier he gets & the more powerful he gets ... and viltrumite diminishes as their numbers goes down. there will be a tipping point where Viltrumite empire knows there is no point fighting hulk as he is taking them down more as they fight, so only escape is their option.

Here's how this goes down, and its like this talking about anything Marvel or DC against anything else. Who's publishing it? If its in a Marvel/DC publisher, than the outsider loses. Not because of bias. But because of how DC and Marvel universes work. There's plot armor... and again I'm not talking about the bias towards a hero. Its actual plot ARMOR that protects the characters as they fight. They have durability, endurance, and can fight without wrecking the environment on apocalyptical levels because that's what the story needs for them to do. Think about it, imagine if the Hulk and another entity as strong as him hit each other as hard as they can, and they are in New York City. Well the entire upper western hemisphere of the earth is destroyed. Not just the block, not just the neighborhood, not even just the city. The whole region and side of that hemisphere. That's how strong Hulk is. Also both the hulk and whomever he is fighting should be atomized by such a thing. But they're not. They don't destroy part of the earth on a apocalyptical scale. And they don't destroy each other. They destroy as much as the writer wants the plot to do so. Sorry Hulk fans, but your favorite part of the character revolves around the plot armor that protects him, those around him, and the environment (it does protect both ways, protecting the Hulk and everything around him from him). In settings outside (of Marvel and DC) you tend to see a grittier approach. This is why grievous injuries happen even to main characters, and some just outright die. Actual consequences of such strengths are felt as well. Now.. they do have plot armor in Invincible as well. They do have a plot to drive forward, so they cheat also, but its not to the same scale (there are exceptions). So can Hulk stop a Viltrumite Invasion? If its in a Marvel comic, yes. If its in a Invincible comic, maybe (if its main dimension in the show, yes.. if its an alternate probably not). In a neutral one-off setting, not even close. They either attack where Hulk isn't (he's only one guy), or just destroy the planet around him. Potentially they just toss him into the sun or similar.
