I originally thought this wasn’t possible, but I’m surprised that Switch emulation is now possible on a Mac, back then I wasn’t able to play Wii U and Switch games on my Mac, but now with Cemu and Ryujinx being usable, I can see improvements coming to these for plenty of games in the future
depends most of the games in switch are Made by different companies meaning some games will be compatible with the app while other might not, the Nintendo games such as BOFTW, Mario kart 8, etc will probably get improved in the future but other games such as the Witcher, doom, etc will still suffer because every company made the game differently
I have a late 2018 Mac Mini and I just recently discovered I could play Wii U games. Some can work perfectly like New Super Mario Bros, the HD versions of Zelda Windwaker and Twilight Princess, and Star Fox Zero. Some other games will load but they're massively slowed down. Breath of the Wild was one of those and I'm just amazed that it loaded and played despite the slow down. I can't even imagine what gaming will be like on one of the new Mac Minis. I'm so excited for the next time I upgrade!
i have been playing mario oddyssey with ryujinx and beyonetta 2 with cemu since i saw your videos and it has been a great experince i have played and complted zelda with cemu on windows here in india its pointless to buy a switch and i am very thankful to you though i own a playstation its funny that im still playing games on mac ! great job man keep them coming
Mario Kart 8 runs perfectly on my MacBook Pro 14" (M1 Pro). 60fps throughout (unless there's shader compilation, which is not often now). Hypervisor is turned on.

Suprising to see Mac getting support for Switch emu. Once Mac and Linux catch up with Windows in gaming, I'll probably never use Windows ever again. I'll have a Macbook for work and productivity and a Linux desktop for gaming(Also consoles for physicals)

Can you try the Xenoblade series? I've tried Xenoblade 2 and there were a bunch of issues. Was wondering if it was due to a bad ROM. Would love to see how Xenoblade 3 performs as well.

Mario Kart 8 Deluxe on M1 Pro gets 60 easily on 4K with rare stutters (not due to shader compilation) Edit: Never played Grand Prix on emulator, only Time Trials, I stand corrected, it is pretty unplayable. Time Trials is fine though, smooth 60

I need an advice, base M2 chip Zelda BOTW 10 fps , DARC SOULS REMASTERED 10 fps did some can give a solution to increase fps or it’s just weak base cpu that cap’s productivity???
1x speed from base M1 I did not expect, this is actually insane. At this point, getting a Switch is just dumb. Archaic hardware when you can buy a copy and enjoy the games with better quality everywhere else (outside multiplayer and shader compilation, which only bothers the first 30 min of gaming). Better put Switch money into a Steam Deck.
all we need now is how to play online via ldn , i think people complains too much even with shader the emulator is here since one week and it works better than most over emulators so
How did you setup the motion control? I have the joycon with grip and I would use it... On my MacBook Pro M1 16gb Zelda works 30fps. It is playable with some graphic glitch and some deceleration because the shader cache is compiling.
Could you make a tutorial on installing mods in games like Smash and Mario Kart? I’ve been having trouble with mods just not showing up or games crashing. It’s possible they just don’t work yet but there’s not enough documentation to make sure.
I have an Intel MacBook Pro 2019 with an i9 processor and 32 gigs of ram. I have follow all instructions to the letter and no matter the game I try on the emulator it keeps crashing! Is there something im missing here? Thank you in advance.

Pro is better for games. I also personally like the touch bar that the pro has, I think it’s so cool. How much better for games? Well, they’re slightly more playable. Macs really aren’t gaming computers but definitely go for the Pro if your looking to emulate basic games
go with pro I have a M1 for college which is not bad and I can play some good decent amount of games but with the pro you can pretty much play more games and has better chip
Shader complaining MK8 using Ryusak simply crashes the game when trying to launch. Deleting it from Ryusak fixes it, but you have to compile the slow method way.
I was playing pokemon shinning pearl but after defeating the 4th gym it won’t load anymore. Y keeps loading to open the game, i have a m1 pro processor.
Anyone know why 80% of the games download with no sound? Check my mac's sound settings and everything is find on my end, changed up the audio settings in ryujinx and nothing. If anyone can give me some advice that would be awesome.
@@drewcon4t hmm so seems torrent downloading is 50/50 i redownloaded pokemon violet 3 times and now works perfectly i use nsw2u its the safest site just make sure to use a torrent

What about Super Smash bros Ultimate? i tried it but its quite slow for competitive play, undocked mode seems to work better but still not great, im playing it on a Macbook Pro M1 13" ( yep... the M1 model with the infamous touch bar ahahah)
I couldn’t even find the ROM games for the Nintendo switch because it kept taking me to fake pages or scam pages saying my Mac got a virus or something so does this application not work anymore??
Turned macbook air m1 on today and ryujinx has reset itself. Asking for prod keys/firmware again, lost save files. Anyone know how to get those save files back?
Figured it out, Ryujinx started using /users//.config/ryujinx for whatever reason (possibly some conflict with the way mac os expects things to work?). I simply needed to take the ryujinx folder from /users/ and replace the above.
