The Heat wouldn’t even be able to trade Bam or a collection of role players because the Bucks and the Heat are in the 2nd apron, meaning the trade needs to be a 1 to 1 player trade making both making the same salary with the exception of draft picks. Please start doing your research a little bit more instead of telling everyone that with a collection of role players or Bam this trade can be made.

I’m a Knicks fan but I’m also a basketball fan and in my opinion Giannis to the heat doesn’t make sense. When it comes to contention that is. The Heat don’t have enough talent to make them a true contender. If Giannis really wants to win, he should go to OKC. But of course OKC wouldn’t trade away Chet. Other teams that come to mind are the Cavs and Pacers. Those teams have good pieces and shooting to surround Giannis

The Heat are toast. It's difficult to find much reason for optimism with this team. Even a team like the Nets can be optimistic about the future given all of their draft capital. Butler might now be saying he won't exercise his player option next season but I doubt he'll command more than the $52M he can get from Miami on the open market (at 35 he already appears diminished). We're not even off the hook with Duncan's contract until the end of NEXT season ($20M cap hit per year). It's clear that Riley, who is 79 years old, has no interest in a longer term strategy & vision which this organization desperately needs. We should be following the OKC blueprint.
