The fact that our championship was earned by developing players, doesn't mean we tanked to get those champs-KLow (24th pick) Spicy P(27th pick) even Kawhi was picked 15th...Marc Gasol was picked @ 48th....so intentionally losing is not something are young guns want/need to do!!! All I see now is a direction for our new and most excellent Coach Darko & his superior staff doing their job...I do trust Masai will do his job magnificently, the four draft picks we have are all impressive and will be impactful, sooner than later. The Raptors won exactly one Atlantic Division game last season (vs Brooklyn in the first game back after the All Star break)... that has to be a NBA record in some form or fashion for inter-division play. With Bos, Philly and NY looking like juggernauts for the next few seasons Toronto needs to spend to win in they want to compete. Staying under or right at the salary cap they won't be able to compete in their Division with the top 3 teams barring major injuries to those teams.

we shouldn't be worried bout being the worst in the east. We gotta find a way to contend year in year out. We don't want to wait another 25 years for a championship. Trust the process and pick up guys that will elevate the team. Good results don't need to be instant just consistent.
