I've had mine for just over a year with some stunning results. That said, my Pro PA is ordered and I'm awaiting delivery. That's going to be a huge upgrade for me so I'm excited. That said, I'll always have my elite as a campin trip/backup for as long as it lasts.
I could see me getting an upgrade in the future too, but I’m standing behind this one as being a great budget friendly option that will last a very long time. I’m like you, can’t see me putting this one on a shelf and never using, even if I did get an upgrade
They work pretty good. 👍 I learned free hand when I was 7 or 8 years old from my Dad and Pap. When I was younger using hand and field sickle's, they got tired walking to the other end of the field and made me learn. Thought maybe you would have stropped that Pathfinder blade.
Oh I definitely will. I’m excited that I can keep that one as sharp as it was when I got it now. But I wanted to show a really good before and after just to put this thing to a good test. It definitely did not disappoint
I am very very impressed! Wow!! I have been looking for a good sharpener but didn't want to waste more money on just another sharpener. I definitely need to check on this one. Thanks for sharing with us brother. I love it! Oh and Pampered Chef rocks too
Yeah, I was a little worried initially at the price, but one if the guys I work with was wanting this one, and he’s always got sharp knives. I wanted one like this to keep my angle consistent, and it definitely didn’t disappoint. Very very happy about getting this system. I’m going to have a sharpening party with my other knives soon 😂

I have one of those Smith Pocket Pal sharpeners and it does a decent job but it is for specific knives. I can't get a razor edge to save my butt with it lol. Oh that would be cool with a sharpening party lol. I would be doing that too lol
That green stuff that comes off at 15:05, is that normal? I got my work sharp yesterday and was affraid I immediately ruined it since I scraped that green stuff off :D
Excellent video, however, please ditch the music, it's distracting - unless all your instructors, when you were in school, played background music while they were talking, teaching.
Mine were horrible and all the littke sharpeners I tried just seemed to never work. But this thing has gotten them sharper than they were when they were new. And it’s real easy to use, so no worries about messing something up
I’ll be honest, I haven’t watched the video. I recommend spending the money on a KME but I would suggest you spend your money on a TSPROF system. TSPROF makes sharpeners for or just a little more than the KME. Work Sharp should have made the stone holder where it would hold 4” stones. You are screwed buying stones for the Work Sharp system.
@@miragexl007 You still have to buy the stones but some TSPROF models come with stones and the KMEs. They all sharpen knives that’s the main concern. Thanks for your input.
