I ended up getting 18 different kookaburras, starting from the first year @CDN$40 each from a collection dump to a dealer. It was strongly motivated by this video.
I see you have a 2017 gold Rwandan rooster, only 100 minted. I have one as well. I wonder how much those are going for now and when would be a good time to unload it.
I really like the Perth products like the lunar series and kooks/koalas. I was planning to backdate the series for the kooks, but I realized I only like some of the designs. I started backdating but stopped, but I plan to keep collecting the future series.
Just started out buying 1/4 oz's a time on the gold as close to spot as possible online waiting for October and make a decision then based on Furlough ending and Brexit. Thanks for the tip on the pandas.
The kooks have far more competition now as the choices of bullion are vast compared to just 5+ years ago and their designs have gone basic in comparison to other new releases, the kookaburra should have been reinvented when they started with the 5oz proof and more complex, clever and inspiring designs. Royal Mint should do a second series of the beasts, could call them "the royal beasts" and give another designer a chance to put a series together, i like the 2oz silver size and it would be cool if they did a bullion run of all the £2 coin images or a half ounce silver celebrating the old 5p coin designs
Please, please, PLEAASE increase the audio! These videos are so hard to hear that it doesn't matter how good the content. You turn because you can't hear anything
@@brironmanbtl1162 When I am at work I have to focus on my job so I listen at home. Content is good so no intro needed but if there was thats a plus. I don't want to strain to hear what someone is saying. That removes the enjoyment. You may be based in the UK so your ears are better adjusted to the local accent but I don't have tender ears so I need that audio to carry.
@Pengus Wobblous Slide-bellious no I never bought at $50. However, these idiots buying silver today at these prices are in for a rude awakening very soon.
@Pengus Wobblous Slide-bellious I've been bashing silver for years and years. It's the worst metal to buy. Silver gets the most hype and hasn't done anything to deserve it. Silver is a loser metal created for suckers.
@Pengus Wobblous Slide-bellious you confirmed my point. Everything you said is what if. You said that silver has outperformed gold which is incorrect. There is no reason why silver would ever reach 500 other than hyperinflation
@Pengus Wobblous Slide-bellious short periods of time silver has outperformed, but in the overall picture gold has by far outperformed silver. Silver rises faster than gold and drops faster than gold because of its volatility. Gold hitting all time highs while silver can't seem to reach it's all time high. The only reason silver is where It's at today is because gold is dragging it along. Silver is dependent on gold to rise, while gold is independent of silver.
