Really nice video production! I did the class right after yours, so thanks for flattening out the grass for us, lol. We were more of a novice class it looks like, based on how fast you got to the maze and the route you took to the fields each day. And the fact you went over the jump backwards!
@@AdventuresonZero clearance is a about 8.5 inches, it’s where I’ve created my custom rear foot controls in comparison to my crash bar I modeled off a stock sportsters and the bike now sits over 4” higher the fall angle basically crushes my foot levers if i were to drop it.

At the beginning you mentioned that being belt driven is a disadvantage... ever thought of changing to a chain? That can be done. At least for other Harleys, I guess you can do that for the Livewire too.
I have considered and it wouldn’t be that hard to do conceptually. If Ewan and Charley can make it 13k with belts, I’m fine with how it is. If I were to really push the remote travel boundaries, I’d likely convert it
Very nice video! I got to demo a LiveWire 1 at Laconia and talk with the reps. I put your name/channel out there. The rep did mention with the Del Rey having DT1 tires, the company does want to expand what their bikes can do.
You should look into some small solar generator kits. I dont have a livewire so im not sure if they would even be good enough for an emergency charge kit. But I want to buy one and find out.
Problem with little panels is not enough power output, only the larger panels have enough DC output to start the charging. Someone covered the entire roof of an Astro van a few years ago and started charging a Zero with it, so it’s possible if you have enough panels and direct sunlight
Obviously you’re already like $40-50k+ into two livewires, but consider getting a small dirt bike or a trials bike to hone your off-road skills on! It’s so much easier to learn on a lighter bike.
Good pointer! I’m pretty close to Penmerryl farms, and plan on going there often to work on said skills. My bank account needs some recovery before I get a 3rd bike 😆
Run out of charge in the middle of the desert... try to fill up with your aux gas tank... oh... wait... you can't.. Maybe the team following you with the diesel generator can charge you up lol... Long way up XD I feel like you could tune the torque curve or run in rain mode or something while youre on that slick grass and have a better time.
