Watching that little girl run in to the barn was the best thing. She may have a ways to go, and you may not be the one to get her there, but she is so much happier and more comfortable than she was when you first met. I love seeing how you help these animals, and I hope that you can feel their appreciation.
I have to say thank you! The fourth-year vet students at Glasgow Uni had exams this week. There were scenario-based questions on hoof trimming and sole ulcers, and years of watching your videos were definitely very helpful!
This cow lasting 50% longer than average is a great achievement and a recurring reminder of the value of hoof care. If a cow never went lame in their life and lasted this long because her feet were taken care of, it shows just how much of a difference hoof trimming makes. Bless the Hoof GP and all hoof trimmers. Because it’s not the severity of injuries you heal, it’s the feet you maintain that help a cow live a full and healthy life.
@@rob6760 wenn alle beim Kauf ihrer Nahrungsmittel es finanziell honorieren würden, wie gut es in jeder Hinsicht produziert wurde, wären wir ein ganzes Stück weiter.
@@rob6760 that has nothing to do with this. They only go to slaughter AFTER they’ve finished their purpose, either by age or lameness. Graeme said in this very video that Cows last about 6 to 6 1/2 years on their own. The fact that this cow has lasted 8+ years is a testament to proper hoof care allowing a cow to continue production long after its normal time.
I would like to point out that cow actually can live into the double digits in age. Even milking cows. I've got some beef cows on our farm that I know we're freeze branded back in 2005.
@@ianmcnab9534 and do you take care of them, including their feet? Then there’s you’re answer. Proper care extends life. Hoof care is part of that, is it not?
@@RedDragonForce2 unlike over in the UK, here in Australia the hooves wear on there own. I am looking at starting to trim some of the ones that are majorly lame but they are in the minority. Most of the time when a cow is limping over here it's due to bruising from fighting.
Love how you interacted with the children! You treated them as valued team members and let them be part of your work as their skills allowed. Educating the future is an important process, whether or not they become hoof trimmers like you. Bless you, Graeme for the kind and caring soul you are to both your family and the animals in your care. 😊
This channel is where I come to, To get my dose of happiness. Thank you!!!! for taking care of the cows and thank you for taking care of me. ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Sometimes the tongue and brain doesn’t wake up at the same time😀I’m glad you did what you could to get her started on recovery. Bent face has a beauty all her own!
She looks so much better! You had me scared, thinking something bad happened to her. Glad she is going to a new to her home. Love seeing "Bent Face" and keep up the good work! Love watching you videos
You have done a fantastic job with this cows hoof. It’s sad we won’t see her anymore, maybe you could get an up date on her progress. Anyway love watching The Hoof GP, best channel to watch on RU-vid ❤😊
It's amazing that it went from that red, raw open wound to so much new hoof horn in just a few weeks! Wow!!! I hope whoever bought her takes good care of her. She seems like such a sweet, patient old girl. So glad you were able to heal her to that point.
I’m so glad that this mama cow is going on to bigger thing in comfort. Almost 200,000 loyal fans is a tribute to your dedication to giving these cows their best life and putting your whole heart in it. Of course couldn’t do without Craigie and your growing family. I have been blessed since I found your channel.
I have to say as a guy that lives in Florida, USA and I never thought of being a hoof trimmer but I watch every one of your videos and I love you enthusiasm towards helping the cows in any way possible! I’ve been subscribed for a while now and I’m glad I get to spend some time with you every time you post.
Someone had fun planning this shoot! And it was nice to meet Ms. Face, and see the progress with the other little lady. Glad you make these. Keep up the good work!
Love the addition on your house, it's beautiful! You are an absolute inspiration to me!! I watch every single one of your videos. The relationship between you, Craig, and Kevin is so wonderful to see. Awesome that you can be friends with your family. I wish nothing but the best for you, Ashley and the boys!! Much love from Alabama, USA 💜
What a lovely positive video. A brilliant result, great trim and Kenzie and Carmel are both cutie pies AND a gorgeous spring day! Thank you for sharing and spreading the joy! 🐄🐮💞🌷🌸💐🐰🐇❤️
Aww what a gorgeous lady she doesn’t look 9 years old Your niece Carmel is a wee darling and if Kensey is your nephew he’s a great hoof Gp in the making What an amazing and awesome claw I hope she continues to heal
That old girl....she is a sweetheart!!!!!!!! She probably has some stories to tell....if she could..... Great recheck! Even better rerecheck! So good to see her running to see you! That's ALWAYS a good sign! You know she was thinking, " My heroes!!!!!!"
Hi Graeme, that cow can thank you for her recovery from all the pain she had. But best of all are the kids helping and being with you as you work. That was monumental. Take care and stay safe.😊😊😊👋👋👋✨✨✨👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Oh its def. so much better. I can only imagine the pain relief she has gone through. I had to smile when you showed a clip of her running on it and that is a sure sign that you are doing the best for these cows.
I'm sorry that someone thought it was OK to lie about you enough to make Mrs. GP cry. That's not OK. Glad you went to police and pressed charges. People need to learn their place. Those of us who enjoy your videos, enjoy your family, and only have good things to say are also affected by someone's negativity. Why they would want to hurt you and your family is sad. I've never heard you speak badly of anyone. He forced your hand, you had to protect your family. I'm proud that you took action and hope Mrs. GP is OK now. ❤ keep doing what you do and never let anyone put you down, especially your wife and children. Love your videos, the music choices and the fact that you do provide comfort and healing to all those beautiful animals. Stay strong, Hugs to all the Parker family. ❤
First time commitment hello from Brookville PA USA just started watching the chanel love the family values you have the love and compassion you show the cows is amazing I ended up with a pet Holstein steer bottle fed he ended up as my best friend God bless you your family and the work you do
Her hoof is looking a lot better compared to the first visit, but the real tell tell sign was that shot where she was running. That shows how effective your loving work was done. Great job Hoof GP and crew. 😀
Lowekey wondering if we somehow can obtain an update on this cow. She looked well mad when you filmed her face and seems like such a sweet cow. The 1st cow was awesome, not giving a frickifrack about her looks.
I worked with cows since before leaving school and in those 50 plus years or so, there have been so many changes for the better. Cows are loveable animals, and it’s wonderful to see you and your team enjoy what you do so much.. your channels are fascinating and I love sending people your way, not just to help you, I firmly believe your videos do educate people where they are in the business or just have an interest. Keep it up Mark and your crew, you are a saint to cows. Thank you.
What I absolutely love about farming/ranching is how the whole family, including the children from a young age, are involved in the operation. Excellent training towards responsible adulthood. Too bad ‘city’ kids don’t have this same type of opportunity to learn responsibility early in their lives…
This cows hoof reminds me a lot of how my thumb healed up after I banged it under a heavy tray. I had to remove nearly the entire nail (mostly the detached nail that went under my skin) and the thinning of the nail that was still attached. So glad to see she’s on the way to a full recovery
And this is a perfect example of why I love being a wound care nurse. Being able to take people from the painful moment of injury and then relieve the pain by healing them is just amazing.
You take such great care and a wonderfully huge amount of patience to these lovely animals. You show what the masses really need to see. Well done Mr HGP x
I find it astounding that their hooves heal at all having to walk through all that muck! What a wonderful transformation after your trim...and she has such a pretty face. Thank you Graeme for making their lives so much better.
Oh, man, I was almost holding my breath, there. Nice trim, and nice horn growth. There's no doubt that she'll be making a full recovery, especially as she'll be under closer care by another competent hoof trimmer. Good job, Graeme. Good job, cow.
❤ I just want to say I enjoy your videos . They are enlightening & some times there might have been a heart breaking moment , but most all are very heart warming and humble .
Thank you all at the HoofGP for doing the greatest thing you do for these cows bulls and any other animals that you work on at these farms keep up the great work that you do
One of these days I’m gonna catch you all as soon as you post lol. Hi all I love the new car!Now on with the show 👏👏👏👏that cow can run a marathon 😂the family that hoofs together stays together. You need your own tv show it would be fantastic💕
Love your channel and the amount of love and care that you give the animals. The cow looking a lot better even though she has a little bit more way to go before she is fully heeled. Stay positive strong and believe in yourself sending Positive vibes energy and blessings from Lincolnshire UK ❤
I've never known why I started watching this channel, but I love it anyway! You care, you explain, and you interact with children in a great way. Thanks for these update videos so we can see the progress with you!
You are SOOO blessed - thank you for sharing your family with us! I look forward in watching how your kiddos mature in this unique skill - You all rock!
My favorite of any video he posts are the before and after shots where the cow is limping badly / lame before entering the crush. Hoof GP does his procedure, then the cow exits and they take steps as if to say " hey...the misery is relieved ".
Nature, any biological tissue, actually, is so amazing! I love seeing you work with cows because my career led me to small animals. But no matter the size, the healing of such a wound is a small everyday-wonder :)
It is good to see that Mr Hoof GP’s success on RU-vid has turned into a nice house and nice cars. He works hard at his job, and at showing it to us, so he deserves it.
I think her foot has made great progress. It'll get there eventually. Hopefully the next hoof trimmer will have good things to say about your work and does a good job themselves.
I do remember this little girl and she looks so much better. It's amazing how quickly they heal when taking care of. I hope she will continue to get excellent care in her new home. I think you showed us that that old girl before because I remember thinking it looked like a sort of cleft palate. Thanks for the update and for taking care of all the lovely ladies
Bentface seems like a sweet cow ❤. I love how your house is looking!!! 😊 Nice job on the girl with the messed up hoof!!!👍 Too bad we don't get to track her progress, anymore 🙁. You will still get to help countless others, though!! You do great work helping these cows and bulls!!! I look every day to see if you posted a new video!!! Thanks, Graeme!!! 😊❤
Hey Graham? do you think you would be able to ask the other trimmer to send you pics/videos of her recovery at her "retirement" home pretty please? :) x
Well done Ksnzie, getting that block on that cow's hoof. You did a great job. In all honesty, i do think this cow's hoof has made vast amounts of progress. Still looks a bit icky, but even to someone like me who know NOTHING about these things, it is still so very obvious, the amount of progress made. That hoof really looks to be wellxon the mend and i am so happy to see.her running around.amd feeling so much better
@@kathleengreen9660 I do understand the channel's GP reference, big fan of Graham! At 5:35 in the video he refers to his nephew Mackenzie as a "young hoof gp in the making" so my comment was playing along with the theme of his own joke. Maybe i missed the mark with my humor.
Progress on that hoof is so satisfying to see! Have you run through brothers-in-law and moved on to nieces and nephews then? Both your niece and Kenzie are adorable…love how you interact with them, Carmel is wearing everyone’s favorite HGP t shirt! Be careful…you know what they say about working with children and animals….
It’s heartbreaking to see these dairy cows in so much pain , I really can’t tell you enough how important your job it’s to these beautiful creatures! Simply amazing work, hats off to ya!
I am so glad to see a scene with your Wife and You together, She is so SWEET AND THAT BLOND HAIR IS BEAUTIFUL. You both are a perfect couple, you and those people around you, no wonder you've won't hem all over. You and Craig seem to be so easy to talk to.I'm glad you're close to home. Those babies will be grown so fast. Spend every minute with your family that you can. Money is nothing and FAMILY IS EVERYTHING,as you get older you'll be so glad you did. FROM GEORGIA USA 🇺🇸❤
Watching cows hooves be trimmed and "doctored" to hear a lovely accent! 😊 My maternal grandfather was born in Scotland, moved to the US at 10 yrs old. I miss him and his accent... Plus I'm now in love with a bent faced cow and a bull with a panda's face! 😊😊
Had to giggle..watching Tom P (yes, besides you, another guilty pleasure) and he has been wearing HGP merch. It is so great to see all of you supporting each other
So nice to see and hear ur care and concern with these animals. Using ur skills to relieve their pain and suffering. Something about watching this is comforting n calming. Keep up the great work.
Hello, I hope you are well!! I just wanted to pop in and say that I have absolutely ADORED your videos since I've started to watch and subscribe to you!! They bring me such a sense of comfort and homeliness and joy that can only be found in The Hoof GP. You truly love your work, and try to always be positive and bright, and it truly shows and makes me feel at home, even though Scotland's a few hops, skips, and jumps away from North Carolina, USA 😂 But thank you from the bottom of my heart for all that you do and all that you are, this channel is a treasure I can always come back to after a hard day and feel warmth and calmness 💙💙
Scotland is SO beautiful. We visited a few years ago, from Rosslyn Chapel, to Edinburgh, to Inverness, to the Orkneys. My boyfriend of 25 years is a Rutherford, and so proud of his Scottish heritage.
Great to see the kids enjoying spending time with you, how are your boys haven't seen them in a while. hope the family are happy and well. And a brilliant job on that hoof xx
Aww the first cow with the abnormal face bless her I’m so glad the farmer kept her because some would of got rid of her & she’s doing so well 9 years later I hope he keeps her until the end, thank you 😊
Hi from Devine Texas, I don't know anything about cows (country girl not a farm girl lol)but love your videos. Happened upon them by accident 6 months ago, after watching the first one I was hooked. I admire your passion, plus you make it fun and interesting at the same time. You're right Scotland is beautiful!
