I can certainly relate to what Kevin is going through. I had three completely herniated discs in my lower back. I was in constant pain, unable to walk unassisted and had to spend most of my days in bed. I had back surgery and two weeks later was able to walk farther than I had in over a year. My surgery was in 2018, and within 8 weeks I was completely off pain medication and now on the rare occasion I do have pain it’s easily handled with simple ibuprofen. Having surgery gave me my life back. Best of luck to you Kevin, wishing you a successful surgery and a speedy recovery! Sending lots of love from Canada 🇨🇦

I raised and showed beef cattle in 4H, and raised Quarter Horses and still show my huge quarter horse gelding. Can't do much but my artwork because of my back issues... still. Love watching your cattle hoof trimming. I love cattle, but don't have any, my sister has the beef cattle in the family. I grew up in Alaska, where I raised beef cattle. Sold my market steers. What fun it was!! My brothers are still in Alaska, but we're in Oregon now....lots warmer here, lol. I look forward to more hoof trimming videos!!! ❤ love them. Hi Graham. I dinged my back at squash a year ago and eventually got to see a really good surgeon. He took one look at my MRI report and said "No operation for you; physio 1st - if that doesn't work we can try an injection - if that doesn't work we can talk about an op". That was in June when I could scarcely walk. Today I carried my luggage down the stairs from a plane and 2 stairways up into the airport with almost no discomfort. I reckon I'll be able to play league squash again this year, having sat out the entire season last year. The physio has worked wonders.

Happy birthday! My daughter is around your age and like you, she has had a couple of surgeries due to disc issues. Beyond the pain, there was a lot of frustration being so young and not being able to do the things all of her friends could do. Her jerk of a boyfriend dumped her before her surgery because of this. Her back is doing well, but the years of physical stress caused hip problems that will require more surgery. We spent yesterday getting her an MRI in preparation for this. I'm hoping for a speedy recovery for all of you.

@@cindyknudson2715 my specialist really doesn’t recommend these as your muscles become weaker because of the added “support”. I’ve tried them before and I definitely agree so wouldn’t recommend them.

@@JimLambier I can definitely relate to your daughters frustration with being unable to do “normal” things that your friends are doing and I’ve never come across anyone my age with the same problems. Her ex boyfriend sounds horrid and she seems well rid of him but i understand it’s never that easy when she is the one going through it. She has enough to deal with without dealing with an idiot like him. I really hope the mri went well and she gets some good news soon and her pain eases. If your daughter ever needs someone to speak to or relate to then I’m happy to message her, just reply to this comment :)

GP. I got it straight away. "WHITE LINE DEFECT"! I've learned so much from you even though I'll never trim a cow. But that cavity was something else! Keep it up buddy. These videos continue to be a huge benefit to those of us stuck behind a desk for a living. You're like a breath of country air.

Graeme. Back for a second look at this video. I love to watch you work your magic. I do hope Kevin's operation went well and that he has healed by now. I will still pray for him, for you, and for your wonderful family. If I could move to Scotland - I'd move. :-) Thank you my friend.

Awesome job, again. This is one that should be on the list to revisit in the coming months to see how she is healing. Prayers to Kevin & his surgeon that the operation will be very successful and as pain free as possible.

I've been watching for a few weeks, but this is my first time commenting. Mostly to say that what you do is wonderful. That poor cow with her poorly foot, and you're doing your absolute best to make it better. I love watching you take care of all these animals (and Craig! I saw the episode where he was trimming and tipped the crush during my binge of your vids yesterday! Poor sausage was all fret about what you were going to say, and you were just as nice to him as you are to all these cows. Total respect to you for that one). Best of luck to Kevin for his op, and a speedy recovery (but no rushing things!). He could replace Craig as the coffee maker if he gets a bit of cabin fever and needs out. It would be great to see how he's getting on as he recovers. PS: Dead jealous of you getting to hug the cows... They're so cute!

I honestly do believe that they do understand what's going on and that you are helping them get better, they just can't show it like us 🐄 hopefully she will fully recover and Kevin too, hope all goes well.😊

It's great the way you all care about the animals, and I hope everything goes better for this cow, I think we all would like to know the progress of this animal and their condition in the future, keep it up. Best regards.

Best of luck to Kevin! I’ve had a massive back operation 22 years ago. Best advice I can give is to do your exercises afterwards, but always be cautious with it. It’s never as good as the original model. Mine was done putting a patient back to bed, moving the wrong way at the wrong time to keep her from falling. Poor Polly! 💔🐄 could feel myself wincing as you trimmed Graeme. Hope she further mended next time we see her. And yes, that powder needing to be gone made sense to me. What is the indication for the embryonic paste vs the salicylic acid? I tried looking up the embryonic paste but all it said was how to purchase it. 🤷‍♀️ the clear scrub you use is antibacterial, but not as caustic as something with iodine. (I also scrubbed in cases in operating rooms). ….from Nashville, Tennessee….❤

In the paste I think there is salicylic acid and iodine among the other ingredients.
