Hahaha I hope you like crazy scientist Kristina 😂What's your take on growlights? Do you use them, or are you planning on getting some for winter? In spring you can also use them start your seeds and grow vegetables 😉.
Good lighting is so crucial for happy growth! I live in a basement apartment so I rely heavily on growlights! But it works and the plants really do appreciate it, it’s just a matter of making them look cute (which you do a great job of!)😊 love the video and montage🪴
You're right, it makes a world of a difference & in a basement I can only imagine how crucial those lights are. I really try to make it as cute & livable as I can, since the plants are all around my living space. Unfortunately often times the pretty lights are the most expensive! 😅😅
That is a great idea! I'm just wondering how I could compare them all. Maybe with a little expriment... But then my plants would have to live in changed conditions. Hmmm or just compare the stats, how I use them etc... I will see if I can think of a way to make it work. Thanks for the inspiration Alina 💚
Hi Margarita, sorry for the late reply, I hope I can still help. My light is pretty far from the plants I guess about 80 -100 cm. I did CHANGE the light to another SPOT in this video if you want more information: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-uvEU-TUqwd8.html This light is really strong and NOT dimmable so you definetly need distance between it and the plants. I got a lot of bleaching/yellowing after I changed the position of the light because the plants were used to really low light, then I suddenly exposed them to very high light. Basically like sunstress in summer. Nothing to worry to much about. So there might be an adjustment period for your plants but the new growth looks more healthy now.
You can search it because I cannot post links on RU-vid, but someone with an apogee par meter calculated that if you do the lux x .015, that is the accurate PPFD with that specific Dr. Meter. Your measurements were quite off.
Hi Kamila, it's an IKEA IVAR shelf I believe. Just plain untreated wood and the shelves are adjustable 😊. I think there are different sizes available as well.
Ne das nicht ^^, manche Leute haben mir schon gesagt sie finden den Akzent störend. Ich dachte deshalb hast du vielleicht gefragt, dagegen machen kann ich ja nunmal nichts 😅.
If you mean loosing as in loosing control of it 🙈 then yes. Too much time spent in front of a laptop. Too little outside or in the gym. I'm working on it 😅
