Hi there friends, in today’s video we are going to make a wooden surfboard you’ve never seen before. In a previous video we made a redwood surfboard and had such a blast that we wanted to make another surfboard but this time really challenge ourselves to push the limits on what’s possible. We came up with a dive helmet and squid design for the board. I cut the inlays out on my Thunder Bolt laser and glued the inlays in place using CA glue. Once the board was constructed we fiberglass the board and coated it with TotalBoat high performance epoxy. Then a few coats of TotalBoats Halcyon varnish.
