Said it before. Will say it again. Anime powerhouses are NOT on the same level as comic-book powerhouses (with a few exceptions). Characters like Goku, Naruto, and such have to train/fight throughout their stories to ascend to new levels of powers. Characters like Superman, Thor, Wonder Woman, and the like start their stories with few to no limits in the first place. Vegeta had no chance.

Yeah Thor is insane in the comics. Even without the Thorforce, ancient runes, or power cosmic, Thor has multiple high multiverse to lower outerversal feats. Demogorge, Chaos King Amatsu, and Exitar all are infinite transversal threats to the entirety of the Marvel multiverse. And all have been beaten by base power Thor. It doesn’t seem real since pretty much every other iteration of Thor is so much weaker, but 616 comics Thor is insanely strong. Though over 70 years of publication will do that to you.
