And they’re basically one and the same, as when you observe something in awe purely for its beauty (a baby, a sunset etc) Isn’t your gaze a loving gaze in those moments?

Motive generally is a self interest! see the beauty of this if oneself find out the deep rooted thought u can see the end of it .... I really feel very lucky to understand him I feel a joy that I can’t explain it ...

I've been listening to J.K. for some time and even though I understood some of the things he said I am lost. Perhaps I've been lost for all those years and it came to light only now. One needs a geat deal of inner strength to live with "that".

Begin by being aware of every thought-feeling all day, the nerves and the brain; then become quiet, still. This cannot be done through control. Then really begins meditation. It is not precisely thought being aware itself but attention to the movement of thought as it thinks. Thought iniciate the process but ceases as soon as attention begins.K"s brilliance in posing such questions are very penetrating.

Should it be, " can the user of thought be aware of itself " ? thought is "miniscule action", conceived in content of consciousness.When mind experiences emotions of loneliness and incompleteness, it goes into an "image- creation" mode in the fervent hope that these so- called "negative" feelings can be alleviated by this ( action).it uses information ( about the other) stored as content of consciousness,and "creates" a blueprint, so to say, of what it wants to " become",and searches for this image in the relative world.This blueprint is "thought".When mind,the creator of images,realises the catastrophic consequences of the action of image creation ( duality), it shifts focus,so to say,from division and duality,to non- duality,Advaita.This transformation happens because a human mind is blessed in that,it can go from absolute illogic,to complete logic.The " magical" tool is introspection,which helps to transcend subjective likes and dislikes( illogic),to right and wrong( logic).

@phenomenalgamer75 He means to say that the self is an illusion. We can never point out anything within our body or outside and claim that this is me. So we assume that our will to act is us psychologically. When we don't act upon our will ( motives, desires, preferences) and let thoughts in our mind play out however it wants to without interfering (not even having the will to observe), then thoughts being a part of consciousness becomes aware of itself. That is to say there is just observation and not you observing your mind because you are will.

Sometimes i am almost astonished at how easily guys likes this baffel others with their own confusion. Dosnt anybody else realise that the obvious is...thought originates as social construct outside the individual... then those thoughts, or ideas cause what we then think of as ourselves. So the individual does not exist and then think those ideas, but thought or ideas thinks the individual, until you think those outside thoughts which you are taught to think, "what you call and experience as you isnt even there. My point is , the thoughts out there are shared by a group and as any one of that group thi ks those thpughts, only then does he/she seem to be who they think they are...when in fact they arenot. So the act of observing or being aware of a thought is nothing more than thinking about thoughts...otherwise there isno thoughts at all, ...try it for yourself and see through the absolute ignorance of this self intoxicated pretender for youself
