Employers are essentially landlords. They control everything you need to survive, which in capitalism, is money. Politicians and government represent employers, not the people. They don’t represent the people because capitalism only values capital - meaning assets. A society that only values capital is called, …capitalism. How surprising! If you want a government that is by the people, for the people, and of the people, you have to abolish all capital and labor. These are fictitious factors of production for accumulating money. There is no such thing as capital and labor in socialism, only people. By the people, for the people, and of the people. Running away from this reality is cowardly.

Employers may be landlords, but then the unions forced their way in thru socialist FDR. The unions then became the property managers, forced upon the landlord by the government, and the new exploiter of the tenant from whom they only care about receiving their cut of the rent (dues). Meet the new boss, he’s the same as the old boss.

@@charrin9086FDR wasn’t socialist. He used the ideas of Friedrich List and the 19th century German Historical School of economics, which List developed from our Alexander Hamilton. Your half true ideas are a danger to you, because they make you so happy with yourself that you will stop growing intellectually. Don’t fall for the simpleton Austrian School. You’ll spend the rest of your life spinning in circles thinking you’re moving and covering ground. You’ll only be drilling a hole with your feet.

I'd honestly consider that if a pastor came to a floor of a company that something wouldn't be right.... especially if they are visiting individual workers one on one... maybe it's easier for me to see that as a pagan and would find such meetings inappropriate in the workplace

Did any of these workers ask the Mercedes Execs, President, CEO, etc. why Mercedes has unions in Germany, but is so outright hostile toward them in the US...not to mention, was that one of their motivation to move to the US (exploit labor)?? Always crazy how easily workers & the working class are swayed to vote against their best interest time & again, but still complain because of their getting screwed by the corporations they 'trust.' Still love what Shawn Fain has been doing. SOLIDARITY!!

I'm not joking this is the dude that should have been running in place of trump and Biden. He seems to be the only person in this country that actually managed to bring the GOP and the Democratic Republic together for the same cause in a company for many companies actually that's the type of person you want to be the president of the United States not the president of the UAW
