I wrote this song with Patricia Cooper-Digivency in the home-studio of Norman Harris of MFSB. Between 1977 and 1979, I became part of Norman Harris' supporting production staff without having an official title with his company. There was no exclusive contract. I was able to create freely for any company I was asked to work for. What made this arrangement so important then was I had a close friend to work with that did not hold back information from me. I learned more about the business when I worked with him. His family became mine. Writing, producing, and conducting sessions for Norman Harris and his partners Earl Young and Ronnie Baker was one of the most gratifying and fulfilling experiences I had while growing up un the sound of Philadelphia.
