@@hunterwashburn4454 A flyer is when you catch just the right amount grass between the face and the ball that it doesn't deaden impact but it does reduce friction between ball and face, thus reducing spin and increasing carry distance. Wedges will carry an extra 5-15y and longer clubs will typically carry further. A skull however is when you catch it so thin that you're basically knifing the ball with the bottom edge of the club, which Joey does constantly, and they fly WAY further. A skull is a complete mishit whereas a flyer can (and usually is) a very well struck shot that just knuckles a little because of the grass interaction. Joey calling his skulled shots "flyers" then is a little funny because he rarely strikes it well enough to actually produce a true flyer. 26:15 is a perfect example of a skull.
