So on the topic of “Impossible” challenges: -USB on a dart thrown into a USB port (alternatively, could be done with a bow and arrow) -Boomerang Bullseye, where you try to get a bullseye on a big target with a boomerang, but the target is like... next to you or something -Throwing card trick shots -Shooting an apple off of a mannequin’s head from a-ways out -Knife or Axe throwing trick shots Please, if you do any of these please do the boomerang one, that’s probably my favorite. (And believe it or not, it didn’t come to mind because you’re Australians, but that is another reason to do it)

Best perseverance moment for me was after breaking my spinal cord I had to get strong enough to re-learn how to walk, starting with a walker and then moving to a cane, and many other things. After finally being able to walk unassisted the next HUGE thing I had to persevere through was the dreaded depression! I lost the ability to do so many things in life due to being partially paralyzed, but over time and with the help of an amazing and loving wife and getting into woodworking, I'm 100% over my bought of depression. Stay strong friends and always look for the silver lining because life truly is beautiful and worth living, even if the days seem dark.

I love watching the slow decent into madness and then pure joy and happiness when it's over. Great perseverance! I have an idea for a "micro" impossible series where you might do very small impossible challenges like trying to drop a piece of mechanical pencil graphite into the tiny opening on the tip of a mechanical pencil. I'm still not giving up, i was diagnosed with Chronic fatigue syndrome, Anxiety and depression a few years ago, my health slowly gets worse but i still try my best to accomplish something significant each day. A time that I never gave up was the time that I found out that I had a tumor in my brain so I believed in myself,my family,my doctor and god and when they were done everything was good and I was able to walk outside the next day feeling amazing and whenever I don’t believe in myself I think about that moment and it makes me stronger every second

Senior year of high school I tore the ligaments in my right knee playing (American) Football. Was told I would never walk right and i would always have a limp. Docs also said I would never get to continue the family tradition of serving in the military. I never let the doctors tell me what I couldn’t do. After 2 years of working on it, I managed to keep pushing and was able to joined the US Army. Its been four years since I joined and I continue to never give up and I never will. On my first overseas tour I found the HR Family on RU-vid and haven’t missed a video yet. Im sure this will just get lost in the messages but thats ok. #44clubforlife

Yes, an ACL rupture usually counts you out of most armies, even the french foreign legion will pull you up in the physical for that. US army is quite flexible to its own rules so there is often a way around it. I had a severe knee injury when 18 but it is still an absolute terror. Though, i needed 5 operations in the end and it healed a little less well each time. Some things like colour blindness blocking you from being a pilot aren't true though.

Was told I would never be able to play american football again as a sophomore in high school, due to a gruesome ankle/leg injury. I broke my ankle in 4 places including the growth plate, had 3 fractures as well, and a break on my fibula and tibia. I received 4 screws and 3 plates in my leg/ankle. Spent hours upon hours rehabbing myself over the next year, and managed to come back as a junior. I ended up winning all conferences honors as a linebacker that season. No matter what anyone says never give up on what makes you happy you'd be surprised at what you can do.

The best story about overcoming something for me is still something I am consistently overcoming every single day. From a young age, I experienced the death of my father, physical abuse from a step-father, cheating girlfriends, the death of my best friend, and physical body harm (not self inflicted). I am currently undergoing mental health assessments and getting help from friends and family, who endlessly help me through these times. The overcoming I have done, involves not taking my own life and doing my absolute best to help others who are struggling to overcome their own issues.
