Dankeschön. Nein keine Angst 😀, es werden nur ab und zu mal Videos in English gedreht, damit unsere internationalen Kunden auch bisschen was von uns haben. Hauptsächlich auch nur die technischen Dinge.
Hi... how do you remove the lower wiring harness / alternator wiring harness. My 1995 MB E320 S124 which has 233k miles on the odometer runs decently until it hits some bumps on the road and the whole car shuts off completely while driving 60mph ....scary to stop because even the brakes would not work. Sometimes it will start right back and other times I have wait almost 30 minutes to cool down the engine below 80'F and then it will start. ..... I have watched your video and replaced the upper wiring harness with a "delphi" that has a 2002 stamp mfg date.I have not checked the lower wiring harness/alternator wiring harness yet. Could this be the culprit to the complete shut off of engine & electrical system whenever I hit bumps? Thank you for your advice in advance
Sure can. You need to be careful with that as well, as sometimes cars catch fire pretty easily. We do not have a "just alternator harness removal tutorial". I am sure i took it out at some car in some video, but not sure which one. Just follow plug by plug, make sure to disconnect the battery first. It should only be 3-4 plugs/wires to it. One to the alternator, oil pressure plug, starter, and oil level sensor. It is wrapped with the big + that is also at the alternator, so you would need to disconnect it as well...
@@mkbtec I used to drive my 1995 S124 up in the mountain especially during winter snow here in Cali back 6 years ago. But now she is just parked in the driveway because of this issue of stalling while driving. I will try to start from fuel pressure, then fuel pump & filter (changed 6 yrs ago), then the relay & voltage protector; but first check lower wiring harness thanks... so to begin: to unplug lower wiring harness with Battery terminal (+) cable and follow where it leads to oil pressure & level sensors then to starter power & switch? Is it also connected to the throttle body wiring? thank you for the reply and more power to you!!!
