😂. I love an early morning wake up call. Glad you enjoyed. Still can’t believe a fellow boater managed to recover most of our footage. Just amazing. I really do have small hands 😉. Keeping up with my zone cleaning routine .....bedroom this week zone 4. 😂 This is the one system that really works for me with cleaning and decluttering. Looking beautiful again so envy you when we’re about to leave our beautiful little town with a temp today of 21 and head up to Queensland with a forecast of heatwaves, monsoons and a cyclone, I was just told by my daughter this morning “mum it’s only 9 and it’s 33 already”, oh hell but Henri has to see the Hand Specialist so we don’t have much choice. A nice day in the life! You had me fooled for about a second when you said with wineglasses that "this is how we begin our day"🤣 I didn't know that sunrise and sunset were so quick in winter in England--that's a short day. This certainly is the way. Thanks for taking all the extra effort in filming and editing. I know you must probably record three or four times the length of video we actually get to see. The amount of times you must have to place a cam, walk away then do the 'action' before removing and replacing the cam again for another shot. Weather it's making coffee or dumping bin bags. Seemed like I was actually there in the morning when you both got up early, I swear I could smell the coffee. I especially enjoyed watching you first taking down the pram cover, then erecting it again towards the end, you made it look so easy. Another great episode, thanks for sharing 5⭐'s

I hear you about those lift bridges. SO much effort - and SO MANY of them! We did the Llangollen from Wrenbury up the basin and back in just one week - so there were plenty of long (and hot!) days back in September. At least we had more sunlight. We loved it - but I was glad we had two other people with us to help with some of those bridges.

@@NarrowboatLifeUnlocked We have begun planning but nothing is set in stone. Hope to come over twice. Once maybe on the L&L since we only got as far as Skipton last time and didn't see the most scenic bits that come after Skipton towards Liverpool. Trying to think of a second AND alternatives. Maybe the S&W or the T&M. Maybe the Middlewich again but instead head to Chester instead of Nantwich. Would like pretty, mostly rural...any suggestions?

L and L is a beautiful, under rated canal. We are considering doing it this year but haven’t decided as we have done it before. We are definitely going into Liverpool for easter for my birthday and then we need to make a plan. The S and W was beautiful. Really enjoyed that to be honest. Hopefully we can coordinate a catch up when you are over ❤️

Only just watched your video guys - I usually start the weekend watching them. I see you have got a Sage coffee machine; I keep looking at them myself as they look really great and I miss having the aroma of fresh ground coffee. It’s never quite the same with these capsule machines. Oh and Anthony - I know it’s been said before about your haircut but as a hair stylist myself I must say I think it’s the best yet! 👍 Thanks for the great videos - everything is great about them and I just love seeing the nature and the views. 😃

Can't read a thing without them. 😊 Both of the stray cats I adopted have flea allergies. 🐈‍⬛🐈‍⬛ Just one flea bite is enough to make them itchy and miserable. 🙂 I can tell you are not a morning person! LOL. Neither am I. 😴 The weather has been very cold here but seems about to change back to moderate. 25 today, 39 tomorrow and then into the mid-40s for two weeks. Fine with me. Thanks Kathy. We definitely wanted to show what we get up to on a day to day basis. Glad you enjoyed. My arm, luckily, didn’t scar, but hurt like hell for a while. I now use firelighters! Those bridges are quite low. I am usually ok at 5’4” 😂. Dexter is doing ok. We can see him slowing down bless him. That was a really lovely thing to do. She is such a kind lady. @@NarrowboatLifeUnlocked we’ve not had anything like that happen! 🫣 When you lit the fire, did it blow out on the first attempt? If so, you have to wait, open it and let it breathe and cool right down, approx 5 minutes, before trying to re-light it. Just the initial lighting and blow out is enough to warm the meths sufficiently to cause vapour and it will explode! We know from experience lol 😂 never again hee hee. Glad it hasn’t scarred you. 🥰 It was lovely seeing our Craig and Frazer! Thanks matey, hope we get to meet up again soon, or if not, we’ll see you both at Crick! xx 😘

Hi Paul, Anthony (I have small hands) and Dexter Dog. Another brilliant Vlog. How lovely were those scarfs. How kind of Beth. That Tow-path was really muddy. Do you ever worry about slipping in the mud and coming close to falling in the canal? I would worry about that all the time. Your BIG Glass of wine looked really nice Anthony, Paul worked really hard with all those swing bridges. I observed you were following a left curve on the canal, but Paul (who was driving) was entereing the curve on the port side and not the starbord side of the canal? Was the on shore vegetation clear enough that you could see there was no approaching boats? I love it when the two of you are reversing, normally meaning you turned the wrong way, but not on this occassion. Your arm looked really sore Anthony, hoping it's better now. But I had to laugh when Paul later said "You are better at reversing, than trying to light a Fire". I nearly fell of my chair laughing. I bet Dexter felt amazing after Paul gave him a bath. He looked so fluffy (Dexter, not Paul)!!!! A really nice ending to the Vlog. You wished all (your loyal audience) well, but you left the camera rolling as you battened down for the night. I had not niced before that you had outside lighting. Thank you both and Dexter for another great and very enjoyable Vlog. Take care. Spoolbox.

Hey Spoolbox. The scarves were so lovely. Our parents were made up. Such a kind thing to do. The mud has been horrific recently with all the rain. I have nearly come a cropper a few times! The big wine was delish 😂. Those swing bridges are definitely hard work. If ever we are over to one side like that, we will have a good view, otherwise we get right over to the other side. 😂, haven’t reversed the cut for a while. Thankfully, this was just to get a space but yeah, normally because we are lost 😂. My arm was killing for a week or so. I was so lucky it didn’t scar. Paul is so cheeky! Dexter loves a bath, it soothes his allergies bless him. We bought the solar lights and put them on hooks. They are great when we come back to the boat of an evening. Have a fabulous week. Another great video. Was Paul wearing pyjamas for the whole of the video or did he sleep in his clothes? 😂 We are boaters and know that sometimes, after a hard day, it's too much effort to change into pyjamas😊 Also, Is there a link to the lady who made the scarves? Thanks xx

Thanks Sally. Paul always sleeps in a T shirt and boxers. I hate pyjamas (apart from lounging around in 😂). I can’t believe he woke me up with a camera in my face! The lady is called Beth, but I am not sure she is still doing the scarves any more, which is a shame, but this is her Facebook page.
