And I actually like this unlike when they tried to do it in the movie that this is kind of like where people keep kind of trying to say stuff but in reality they really weren't doing anything wrong at least as far as the situation was concerned at least this one you would actually have something to be mad about. The original movie and the book definitely weren't actually authoritarian if you ever get the chance ask someone working in the Soviet military back in the day if there's some of them still around and ask them what would happen if they just tore up orders for example and you would never see such a defeat live stream to civilians pretty basically and the head of the military immediately stepping down afterwards for the disaster. If you haven't read the book starship troopers actually it's pretty good still and is the oldest modern idea of power armor to be written down at least
For those that dont know. The autonatons are an offshoot race if The cyborgs from the first game. The cyborgs used to be super earth citizen who lived on a cold and dangerous mining world and would be forced to fix their injuries with cybernetics instead of stims and medicines because ftl travel hadnt been invented yet and it took to long for supplies to arrive. So when the bug war started, the traitors decided to secede from super earth. So naturally, with our backs against the wall from the terminid war, we decided to declare war on them too. Them the squid people invaded. And then super earth somehow kicked EVERYONES ass and kicked them all out of our galaxy. So it can be reasoned that, without access to habitable or resource rich worlds, the cyborgs digitized their consciounesses into what we call the Automatons. Their one and only goal is to reclaim their honeworld and free their creators that remained as slaves.
By all extensions, those cyborgs are ALL dead. None of them remain. What we fight now are terminators, no humanity remains in them. But don't forget how they came to be.
From what I heard, most of the surviving Cyborgs were enslaved on their home world for 100 years, and people are saying that the Automaton are effectively their children coming to free them from Super Earth tyranny
When I'm in an "ignoring orders to die pointlessly on a backwater planet with nothing on it" competition and my opponent is a Malevelon Creek Helldiver
Malevelon Creek has nothing on Draupnir. Went the other day and couldn't move without being flanked or cut off by a rocket destroyer squad or berserker, all while being bombarded by mortar fire.
No way? I’ve been doing missions on Draupnir for five days and there hasn’t been any progress. Sweet, that’s awesome. (I only took a few days break recently, so it's good to see some progress.)
And you see citizen they shot him one in the same make sure to report any such thoughts to the nearest ministry of Truth officer immediately you may be under the effect of an automaton mind weapon.
I just liked fighting in the Creek because i love the atmosphere. So many cute fireflies fluttering around near all the alien plant life and the near constant twilight... it would be a very romantic place if it wasn't a robot hellscape lol
The time will come when the wave of Helldivers washes the creek clean of the bot filth, the storm is on the horizon, gather your strength brothers, we will move as one
I think that after the war, the cyborgs were almost driven to extinction, so they created the atomatons to try to replenish their ranks. After all, metal is more common than brains.
That could explain why the bots are collecting organs and bodys at some of the sites. For the very very small amount of "life" for the bots. I've heard the bots take brains!
Bruh, I've been fighting on Draupnir for days to ensure that Malevelon Creek is open for a full assault. AND BY THE GRACE OF SUPER-EARTH, I HAD BETTER SEE YOU IN THAT FUCKING JUNGLE BESIDE ME GETTING LIT UP BY THOSE METAL ASSHOLES!
Personal shield is so nice in bot missions saving you from that one random rocket trooper you cant see; would also advise the larger shield as well, very nice for giving your squad that little bit of time or space they need
19:31 in a cut picture of armored core 6 balam actually refers to the liberator's troops as "communist mts" so its safe to assume balam is a very democratic company
Fun fact: I usually run Stalwart on the lowest ROF but I’ve had to turn it up to the highest when exfiltrating from Draupnir because of how much of a Clone Wars episode waiting for extraction is
fun fact zanny if its connected to the title, the automatons just want to freed their masters and friend in planet cyberstan (upper part of the galactic map) thats why instead of moving towards the earth, they go to the north of the galactic map and they promise they will leave human race alone once its done, but until they succeed theres only war between them and us, pretty rad
Let the creek rest, join us on Draupnir! The jungle is bad but wait until you can’t see who’s shooting you through the highland fog with small rocks being your most often used cover.
"This is for all you new people. I have only one rule. Everybody fights, no one quits. If you don't do your job, I'll kill you myself! Welcome to the Roughnecks!" -Jean Rasczak from starship troopers. So no, never give up 💪🏻
Guys, its called a tactical retreat. You accept defeat in one battle in order to live to see victory in more winnable battles. You can always come back to the creek when you're in a stronger position.
2:42 from what I know, it goes like this: Cyborgs rebel against super earth, create robots as essentially their successors, cyborgs lose the first war and end up enslaved on their own homeworld (Cyberstan), robots end up starting a war to free their parents, and (according to the automatons) once they get Cyberstan they will chill out. I say this not as someone who believes that, especially given the sheer amount of civilian casualties, but as someone who is keeping records of what is actually happening so the Ministry of Truth can somewhat decently cover its- I mean deliver the truth to the people in an easy to consume manner!
I will be forwarding this video to my Democracy Officer. Also I want to thank Uncharted Guy for sacrificing himself during our evacuation in the creek.
I can confirm that your Democracy Officer Has taken your report into full consideration and has decided to move this Helldiver into The Re-Education program. Thank you for your service Helldiver.
In HD1, the Hive Lords create tons of tunnels that quickly become bug hives, and multiple of them on one planet would be insane. In HD2, there are Hive Lord corpses. Which means we're close.
My democracy officer is on his way, along with his democracy officer. Soon you will get a real taste democracy, and will forever regret the heresy in the title.
Question: Why Uncharted? Cause personally I don't see it as a good match for Zanny or at the very least something not really interesting to watch for us the viewers.
@@chikasnotmadjustdisappoint6266I could see him enjoying the shooting and set pieces, the gameplay isn't super in depth, not the kind of thing I can imagine him streaming, but I can imagine him liking just doing a few short videos on it
