That first pack Reshiram was the alternate holo version! But I like the Japanese logo better than the English pikachu logo.

This Japanese set would have been sooooo much better with the classics pulls in the regular packs instead of trying to fight for searchable promo packs

I'm a huge fan of Japanese vintage cards, but for modern I surprisingly prefer the English language cards. Definitely prefer the 25th logo with the pikachu instead of just the number in a box. Awesome video!

To me, the Japanese art, borders, and quality control are always better. I definitely prefer the 25th logo for their set, but I like that in English packs you have a chance to get the retro reprint cards.

The Japanese ones look way better to me. The Japanese Lugia is a bit darker, but also more saturated. I also don't really like the english stamp

Personally I like the japanese cards. Only thing I don't like is the fact that the classic set are in individual packs. Also awesome video! Keep up the work 👍

Well atleast the celebrations Japanese set is cheaper 40-50 bux for the promo packs and 12.88 for the reg pack individually and the booster box is 189 and im getting one soon yes in 2023

I do love the design of the Japanese cards, but is anyone else bothered by the fact that the classic set only comes in promo packs? The modern part of Celebrations is cool, but I think most people prefer the classic subset.

Seems like Japan has a much more difficult chase to get the full set and subset completed.

I’ll never understand why Pokémon cards even look different in Japanese vs English (besides the language text difference). Like why do they even have different designs or colors or logos… always weird to me that Pokémon Company does that.

Japanese sets are so much better than US sets. Recently opened some celebrations packs, and nearly half of them had horrible printing patterns.

I think I like the English version Because it has a more complex logo But the Japanese has way more better Ways the card shines

i like the Pikachu logo but its honestly WAY too big. it should be 60% smaller. The ears don't help xD The 25 logo looks pretty clean :)

I opened 1 Japanese box and got every card beside zacian and the v union cards, only gotta spend like 15 dollars and I can complete the set lol in Japanese on top of my English master collection with all the promos and classics

I think they’re both great for different reasons. Japanese sets always have higher quality cards. The silver border is better than the yellow for sure

In Indonesian ver. Basically in 1 box you will also get Pikachu V union complete set in 1 pack... If I'm not mistaken

Where do these promo packs come from? Like do they come sealed in the ETB? Or some collection set? There’s no one they just sell loose packs from the actually manufacturer

The Japanese cards look better but the English set is set up better in terms of pulls. Don't like how you have to get the classic cards in Japanese :/

Hi Pat from Spain! Japanese cards are incredible! Here now people are collecting Happy Meal promos that just arrive two weeks ago. The printing quality is horrible, people doesn't want the spanish versión, want the English for this reason. The Spanish version seem fake cards the holo seems horrible. I get a Mudkip holo with the borders grey instead yellow and bad cut... After 3 Happy Meals I stop collecting... Good luck in your openings!

japanese version is more clearer than the English version... Pikachu's head is kinda annoying on that portion of the cards.. but i'm collecting English version because i didn't understand japanese language 😊

The Japanese 25th logo doesn't do anything for me - it's boring and flat. I prefer the US logo at least it's a Pikachu....it's too large and cartoonish for me, but still better than the boring, plain Japanese version.

I would love to see a video on if the 25th Anniversary Promo Packs are searchable. I heard that there are 3 methods to search them. Flashlight, feel the "shape" through the package and by weight. Would be really interesting to know if it works because i want to buy some ... Seems like stuff you would do 😁 Love your channel ❤❤

Can I just mention that Pikachu with the Gyrados costume is such a beautiful card. Since I just started watching your videos it has become my number 2 card (after Charizard) that I will be looking out for. Simply Beautiful !!

The Japanese insigna version looks better to me. More of a classic look, and the english one has a more childish design in my opinion, which is also great, just different P-s: I opened about 30 packs and still haven't got that Basic Pikachu

Love the Japanese sets details but the drop rates are terrible for how much it costs. I typically get one of the big three starters (Venasaur, Blastoise or Charizard) in each of the ETB celebrations. :(

I think the Japanese cards are way better. But I'm going to stick to building up my English collection because thats what I've always collected.

I like the main celebrations cards in Japanese better, the silver border looks excellent. I do however overall prefer the english release with this set. The 25 pikachu logo is much better than the plain looking 25 on the Japanese cards. Also I prefer the english classic collection with the really nice texture. And last I love the classic cards are in regular packs rather than separate 1 card packs.

Rough I bought that pack for $45 and pulled the charzard

The Japanese version emblem looks better bc it takes up less space

The Chinese has the same symbol as the Japanese

The only issue with the Japanese 25th anniversary set is how they chose to handle the classic set. The special set with 4 packs and 1 promo pack is a fine way to do it, but the loose promo packs and them being easily searchable is terrible.
