You all need some sleep😂. It’s Sunday go back to bed 😂😂😂. I’m thinking the buggy would be a good idea. You could beat up on it, to a point and not have to worry about damage 😎💪
A lift recommendation. Toward the back, facing the door, either centered or off toward one side. Make sure you have space around it to work and walk around your project. It’ll take up more space but be much more usable. You will have to move anything that gets parked in front of the lift but it’ll be more out of the way. Having it 90*/sideways to the door could be an issue when needing to move a non-running vehicle on or off the lift. Straight on is easier. Also consider space for shelving on the walls around the lift. Don’t box yourself in.
Long time watcher, just finally subscribed. Josh Lively suggested I give you a follow. My 2 cents, I would not mind seeing your shop build at all, but definitely want to see the YJ build.
Propane removes the need for a gas fuel injection system unless your new mill will be injected ofcourse. No off road purposed vehical should use carbs but looks like a fun project. Good luck with the new place. Buggy rolls and flops mean little with probane. Tons safer.
that will be a fun build. The amc 360 is a great engine for a crawler since it makes a ton of low end tourqe. not the cheepest to rebuild but a good engine for a jeep.
You guys need to make the trip over my way to Disney Oklahoma we have a wild off road park you would have a blast wheeling there big rocks and hills to climb plus mud forever to play in.
Restored a CJ7 Specs and pics on Pirate4x4 under - roadh8r CJ7 It's sat since it's maiden shakedown Rubicon run in 06 Got 4k miles on it parked in field in Tuttle now Dragged the frame in the garage when I was stationed in Fort Worth in 97 It's painted with the same paint I used to paint the static display F-14 on base;-) Was friends with Mike when I was on Farcebook. R.I.P. FB Been considering getting back on there just to reunite with local like-minded gearheads. IDK tho lol Haven't even drove my 2012 6.0 JKU since 17 MoTech want's me to bring it Vegas to troubleshoot $$$$ Only drove it 470 miles since I got it R.I.P. Look forward to seeing what you build with the new place. Having the same fun as you with my new house w shop in Newcastle. If you ever need a hand with anything LMK! AM1 retired
I thought I was the only person throwing 10 irons in the fire. You got me beat. Should be fun to build a buggy. Baby steps before you can run my friends. Good projects for great content. Thanks for your efforts in including all of us in your fun. 👍
Congrats on the move, hopefully the last. I agree with the other comments and I would like to see the garage build. Especially the problems you encounter with infrastructure and code compliance drama.
I’m related to this video but I just watched the video about removing the padding off the roll bar. I was wondering if you ever had the issue where your some light stopped working and the fuse keeps popping? Mine just started and I can’t figure it out.
Some Bronco wheeling would be great. TrailRecon did a video it was a good first test review. It would be great if you guys did a JK vs Bronco video highlighting the similarities, differences, pros and cons. I’m interested in hearing your thoughts on the IFS. Thanks and great video as always!
Nice!! Sounds like you are setting the shop up right. What kind and size lift are you going with? Will be amazing what you will be able to do with a full functioning shop.
That trans looks like a Chevy sm465 but there are ford, dodge and Chevy versions that are all very similar. Super strong and really low granny first gear
what lift did you guys go with and Congrats on all the forward movement looks great, you guys look happy thats what Matters Happy Holidays to You and your Family from Jas & Josh
The yj would be cool maby through on some genright high clearance front fenders and some coilovers But other then that im going to say the garage to actually start on it lol
I've got a black 1993 but it all orginal not been chopped up 4.0 with automatic, hard top always garaged 64,000 miles I bought it new. I've also have a divorced 205 transfer case from a ford if your interested for your build but it's a driver side front shaft
Man, I thought I stole my YJ for $2500. You got all that, and a trailer...for $500? I was already jealous of what you paid for the Hemi in your JK! Looking forward to the YJ project.
Love the new build ..Be careful with that 360 on propane ....check out my 360 build on propane oh yeah i said be careful they like to blow out the rear cylinders with to much propane and a big cam .But it was fun while it lasted .
