After a 4 month break from RU-vid its time to catch you guys up to speed!!
I have had so much fun making Jeep, how-to, install, and review videos for you guys over the past few years! But balancing all of that with a full time job and family was getting hard. I had been in the Coast Guard for 10 years and it was time to make a decision moving forward... And here we are! I wouldnt change anything, and ive learned so much in my journey so far. But its time to take control of my own future, and im excited for what it holds.
We moved to Oklahoma City, OK! Its been a crazy few months getting everything ready for the move and getting the new house ready. But we are here and its time to get settled in, and start making videos once again!

0:19 The dog bouncing up excitedly carrying his frisbee told me everything I needed to know. As another Jeeper who despite being a 'City Guy' Computer nerd/Sports fanatic type person, I live in the country as well. Fresher air, better prices, folks know each other. The things you use a Jeep to go get, you can have much more regularly by living in the country. SO HAPPY for you man!

First I was afraid... I was petrified... Thinking I could never live without watching Bens vids out in my garage. But I spent many nights watching other tubers vids for so long, and I grew strong... and Iearned how to get along. And so you're back... from outer space, I just walked in to see the Jeeps and that happy smirk on your face...

I have lived in the OKC metro most of my life. I grew up in Edmond and after separation from the Navy moved back and bought our first home. We just built a new home in Guthrie, you can’t beat the cost of living. Hope to see you guys on the trails.

I am with you guys, when I moved to FLORIDA from Ohio, I bought my house in FL sight unseen also. I had pictures only for a as is purchase. And I have been very happy with it. Yes I had to also do things like you...remove popcorn ceilings and put down new tile floors . Even had to add a Septic system. (Yeah that one hurt). But I don't regret it at all. Congratulations!! Property looks awesome. So much you can do with that shop. I have to tell you, invest in a lift!! My 10K cost me 3500 installed. It is unbelievable how much it helps. You would definitely have to do some truss modifications to get the ceiling clearance but would be worth it. Enjoy!! Look forward to seeing the changes.

I really like the new place Ben, you should AirBnB the little cabin to help fund future Jeep upgrades. USCG is not a real military branch, the Boy Scouts out rank you all. I still have this flame red JK grill in my garage waiting for that shipping address. You can have it for free as appreciation for saving the turtles when you were back in Texas.

I knew guys in my platoon who were scared to get out of the Marine Corps because they didn’t know what they wanted to do. I learned when I EAS’d, there’s a life after the military. Now I’m a RN, and I love my career.

Sorry to hear that you left the Coast Guard - this is why. I am retired and I am 74. I retired from the corporate world at 70. Getting my full military retirement is such a blessing. I am so thankful I stayed the last 10 years. In life it was a short period. But I do understand that everyone has to do what they think is best for them. But looking back I believe it was one of the best decisions I ever made. Enjoy your new life and glad to hear you are going to be doing the reserves. Love most of your videos, I am just a Jeep person. LOL Good luck on the new property!

welcome! We just moved back from Colorado, and live in Edmond. Building a new place on 4.3 acres Arcadia. Don't sweat the tornadoes unless you live in Moore. I've lived in Norman and Edmond a combined 21 years plus 10 years east of Tulsa and Claremore was the only time I've ever actually seen one.

We're excited to see all the awesome reno videos🤞 And don't apologize for showing us life. Sometimes you've got to see it dirty to appreciate it clean. And bonus points if you put in the work yourselves. Nate from Dirt Lifestyle has a video about how Snow Wheeling is oftentimes very challenging and quite a bit different from wheeling in perfect weather. And many ask why you would go out and do that when you can just stay home. For those people, it's an important lesson to learn. Finding out how to have fun even when you have to work for it is an important life skill. When you learn how to enjoy the challenge you've finally got it made.

I hope you guys are not in a tornado alley in springtime, ask your neighbors? Looks like a great place for you'all, nice shop for jeep projects, plenty of space for the kids to play. No neighbors next to you to complain when you test mufflers. good to see you guys again. I hope this move works out for you. I grew up in central Texas, plenty of twisters in springtime around us. I moved to Calif in 1971 and never looked back.
