Bubbie was the greatest addition but not to take away from what you guys do. He motivated me to get sober. And really stay positive in life. For that I thank you Bubbie you have no idea how many lives you change for the better for just being yourself
I really enjoy the content you guys bring forward... i also like how you guys keep a positive outlook despite the bad shots or holes... This is a great lesson for golfers of all ages. Keep up the great work and best wishes guys moving forward.
This a good reminder that no matter what are you playing for just enjoy the day and play what you best at. Hopefully you guys try other tournaments out there good luck
Man you guys played more towards my skillset in this video lol Except I play cow pastures that are 20x easier than this course haha. Loving this duo. Wouldn’t mind more videos with just garret and bubbie.
Damn... watching and hearing those gorgeous wedges on the rocks sent chills up my spine...lol. It hurts my soul when I have to take my 921's even close to the rocks...lol
This is my home course and those green are so strange and very hard to read. I loved this episode!! It was awesome seeing y’all play a course I play 2 times a week sometimes 3.
Still To this day I watch your videos and every time and I think to myself I remember when I was watching from the beginning when you just had a few thousand subscribers to see where it has evolved today is remarkable.
Golf is crazy like that. These videos were tough to watch for the boys. I had a similar experience this weekend, ball striking was solid and just couldn't get the ball in the hole and shot 82. It happens guys, just move on. Thanks for sharing!
That is my golf career right now in three years, I am self taught and can strike it like I’ve played for 15 years, but get me around the greens and I pick up anywhere from 2-3 strokes EASY. I should shoot mid to high 70’s. Golf is HAAAAAARD.
For real. It happens to the best of us. I’m not great by any stretch of the imagination. Normally shoot between 85 and 90. Went out and played a course last week and literally lost about 12 balls
Stop bragging bruh!!! Just kidding! I’m a bogey golfer, I’d be framing my scorecard if I shot an 82. I’m figuring out the course management part and that sometimes my best “driver” is my 20* hybrid… for reliability reasons.
@@StevelandCleamer Keep working you'll break 85 soon and continue to work your way down. I've learned that no matter the box I play from, how far I hit it, if you cannot, pitch, chip and putt, your score will suffer. My buddies who scratch, ALWAYS have a chance at par, and I mean like always. As a man, its the only time you want something short to be the best part of you lol.
How crazy is it that you guys got to play with Marshall Faulk! I didn’t even notice until the end. He seems like a really nice guy. Hope you guys enjoyed! I can’t even get decent weather over here in Ohio to even get out and golf!
I’m from central Kentucky and lived in Columbus for a few years. Even tho Ohio is just north of Kentucky, you all get the shittiest weather. It’s like you all get a 1/3 of the amount of sunny days we get down here. More rain more clouds. Must be the weather patterns.
@@bent4220 dude tell me about it! I live up near Cleveland but I’m actually from Cincinnati. And the weather down there is always better. It’s so cloudy and rainy up here I’ve been looking to move 😅
@@Brewafromdasewa oof I’ve heard Cleveland is even worse😅 you should do it man you won’t regret it. That natural happiness you get from sunshine and blue skies is a game changer. in Kentucky the past week has been 85 with barely any clouds. Just sayin😅
i live in akron and i've been out like 6 or 7 times this year...it's not the best conditions, but it's definitely playable...at least in my opinion haha
Good old Angel Park!! The Mountain course can be a monster. But yes in Vegas we have that 20 dollar pawn shop club that is deemed “The Rock Club” hahahaha
I don't know what to think lol on one side it's nice to see you guys actually miss a green, don't think I've seen that too often. And on the other side I want the pros to come back. Do it guys, that's a tough course, greens, forget about it.
Yea both of these guys would have had much better outcomes if they would have just left the Driver in the car. This is not a Driver friendly course at all.
Midday sun, wind blowing a hooley, tight fairways, impossible greens and they shoot around even? If someone had offered that to me at the start of the day I’d have bitten their hands off.. Well played guys
Those greens look brutal. Courses where balls are easily flying off the greens if hit slightly too hard get into your head. Scared to hit the ball, and start coming up short even on the good looks.
The course is five minutes from my house, probably gets more play than any place in vegas. Guarantee you it would only take another round or two to go really low there. There are just some very strange Vegas only courses out here where if you hit the ball slightly off the fairway you are playing in desert all day, and those green side chip off desert are just so much luck involved. Additionally you will hear a lot of locals say "oh it always breaks towards the strip". That is correct about 80% of the time but a lot of the reads are just individual green dependent.
@@Joe90410 I struggle with the windy courses since I hit a high ball, so Paiute and bears best give me the most trouble. In general courses in vegas are much easier than the east coast where I grew up
Let me first say that both of you are gifted players way beyond anything I'll ever be. However, if you just played irons or hybrids off the tee ... I'm guessing you shoot 65. Awesome content thank you
That golf course is a great way to ruin a few hundred dollars worth of clubs per round. Who puts a boulder field inside their golf course? It's really dumb in my opinion.
@@user-ut5lh9xr3s yeah I've seen that quite a bit. I've seen a lot of desert courses also put sand or crushed sea shells down in the waste areas which is a lot easier on clubs than straight rocks and pebbles. Talk about adding insult to injury. You hit a bad shot and then you have to ruin one of your irons or wedges. Bubbie's wedge was basically worthless after this round. Lol.
