That void bulb is the most DND thing I've ever seen. I can IMAGINE the DM of a campaign doing that to humble their player who thinks just because they have a High AC they're completely invincible
@@the_truant You have some clever friends. I wonder if Larian intended that connection to be made or not? Considering they did similar things with characters like Losir, who's name sounds like loser, there's a decent chance it was intentional.
11:26 small mistake here, you said Nere was the first legendary hunt down, did you forget about the Squirrel and Alfira??! 2 other deadly adversaries for sure
If anybody doesn’t know, the Helldusk Armor is glitched with the defense fighting style. If you have the Helldusk Armor, and another piece of equipment that is medium/heavy armor, you will get a +2 AC from the fighting style
Ha ha ha OH MAN! That death brings back memories… Way back in early access, during my very first fight with Dror, I thought it would be _amazing_ to sneak my party up into the rafters and rain down death upon the unsuspecting gobbos below. Around turn 3 a few of them climbed up the ladders and engaged me _by pushing several PCs off the rafters_ including Gale who managed to land in the spider pit, dying instantly from full health. _Feather Fall_ is one of those hindsight pre-combat buffs that makes total sense, but you usually don't think of it until something like this happens…then you'll remember it forever. In other news: These video series are absolutely banger! The editing and V.O. work are just a joy to experience. Thank you for taking the time to put them together.
I've been watching your videos for a while and i recently been inspired to do my own solo build and see how fun it is. I can tell alot of it is defense
Just wondering, is your build inspired by the “eternal cockroach” DnD build treantmonk temple made? I’ve been thinking about how that build could be recreated in bg3 (at least in spirit) and your build felt very similar. But then again, pact of the blade + paladin is just a strong base for any defensive build.
haha man that void bulb was hilarious becase just earlier today i was 37hrs into my first honour playthrough and in last light inn after defeating fist marcus and keeping all allies harpers alive my DAMN CLOUD OF DAGGERS stayed after the fight (from 2nd floor) and HALSIN out of everyone walked through it twice and kill himself on the bottom floor and that triggered the fight with jahiera instantly using the icestorm instakilling almost all 4 of us.. id say my situation is bit more enraging since its almost 40hours in and due to a bug haha
can I suggest the following extra condition to these lonewolf honor mode runs: All companions must get their happy ending. Just because I may be too attached these pixels haha
Are you gonna go 5 levels warlock and 7 levels paladin for the pact of the chain extra attack and paladin extra attack stack or only the one extra attack from paladin?
I did my honor mode (three characters) as a 7 Paladin, 3 Warlock, 2 Fighter, the last two Paladin levels wouldn’t have done me much good, but the addition of Action surge was huge! So I can recommend that.
I don’t really see the benefit of multi Paladin and warlock. What does warlock really add here? It doesn’t seem to add any survivability, just see in darkness. Or am I missing something?
Both use charisma as their spell casting modifier/save DC/damage roll. With Pact of the Blade you gain the ability to use charisma as your weapon attack roll and damage modifier. Basically, you can dump strength and have high charisma and constitution while doing good damage on normal weapon attacks as well as huge smites, since that uses charisma. All while gallivanting around in heavy plate. Aaaand devil sight + darkness is just absurd ✌️
While you had no viewers before, your first video suddenly gets three hundred thousand views. Please enlighten me on how this is possible, I want it too
