Did you know you can accept Swinburne's offer and then immediately shoot him to kill him. It's actually the easiest ending and you get a unique voice line from Ayre. Pretty sure he's one shot after you hit accept. I've always hit him with something strong, though.
Pretty much yep. I just started playing AC6 recently and the melee attack (esp the default blade) is actually quite strong. I'm currently about to finish Chapter 3 still using the stock blade and only using the range weapons for minor enemies (all rank matches and most bosses are too vulnerable with slashing). I'm honestly into a point wishing that the shield could be improved further and be allowed to used on the right hand as I don't usually use range weaponry so far.
I hit a wall at the PCA Warrant Officer and still refuse to unlock OST tuning. I've been so close and I really want to see how far I can get without Allmind's help
Can't help but feel a lot of those middle game fights could have been easier if you'd taken Kick and and Expansion instead of the expensive stat boosts.
Kick should have been one of the upgrades I should have gotten first, it would have made the fights much easier. Expansion would have been nice but unfortunately the AC Data for the Loader 4 had no expansion for me to take advantage of.
I also tried this challenge, but couldn't dodge Ayre reliably. I felt like I needed more speed or jump hight or fire power or something to beat this boss. But you did it! I'm impressed You even did the Ice Worm without the stinger and the other endings! Only thing: in the second ending, Balteus is the final boss. Walter is just desert
You seemed to be sleeping on the kick! It does good stagger buildup when used right-- great against a lot of bosses and ACs (provided you land 'em on the latter)
@@WyrmHeroBlade They unlocked it later on than they probably should have-- they could still use OS turning in this challenge, but only based on the new-game arena progression. They did unlock it eventually, but they didn't use it as often as they should have imo-- it slaps against balteus! A shame they didn't fight V.II Snail's Balteus form.
@@dianawinters1411 i'm currently on the final mission of chapter 4, and i literally finished Balteus off with my bare hands and a kick because i had ran out of all ammo😅. It was satisfying.
With the Meele thrust stat increase the og build becomes very strong. I do hope they add some of the PCA heavy paladin ACs, those look like an upgraded OG

About Balteus and other bosses: For some reason, I love starting new game. When I was told that bosses were nerfed, I just downloaded pirated copy that have pre-nerf version. Kinda sad that they just did it without giving people any choice :/
the nerf didn't affect a whole lot, you're also missing out on the balancing of the weaker weapons, you also could of just used steam database to downgrade the game instead of pirating.
There’s a mod on Nexus called “Un-nerf bosses” not sure if it actually reverts them or just attempts to mimic how they used to be, but seemed interesting.
Throughout my playthrough I mastered the art of my dual gatling gun build, so by the time I beat walter and ayre with that build I knew the ups and downs of the build, going into allmind i skipped like half of iguazu's dialouge and kicked his ass.
I feel your pain with ALLMIND, I didn't get the whole verticle movement thing, even though in hindsight it was pretty obvious, I spent hours getting to the very final section only to be immediately stunlocked into oblivion, it was so annoying because getting through the first two phases wasn't hard, just long and tedious, so it took whole minutes to get back to the part I kept dieing at every single time. I'm not proud of it, but eventually I switched to the tank build and... two tries, andnthe first one was because I didn't know how to drive on the tank treds, it made me genuinely angry that I spent so long ramming my head into that wall, getting through the first two phases with no repair kits used at times, only for the entire fight to be instantly trivialised by a tank build, this game does have an easy mode and I won't be told otherwise. Now that I know about the vertical movement thing, I'm going back to do it with my build, because in my mind, I haven't beaten the game yet, I got through three full playthroughs without ever switching out my legs and I let myself be defeated at the last hurdle, this will not stand.
Yea I had the same experience but I didn't switch even at the end I became obsessed with doing it with strictly bipedal and no Zimmer And yes I ran into the exact same thing I could get to the last phase with 2 repairs only to disappear out of existence in 5 seconds... The key is... Well it's hard to say it's all about moving up and down at the right moments he does telegraph his attacks well so once it clicks you can even do it no hit but getting to that point is another story
@@dragonslayer3552 My issue was that it took so long to get back to that phase every time, and he killed me so quickly at the past part that I wasn't able to learn his patterns. I think I only died to any of the other sections 2 or 3 times total, it was all that last part, it really annoyed me that the last boss was the most irritating. I spent hours at Cel too, but I never raged because the challenge felt fair and I could tell it was my fault when I failed. I wasn't even sure what was happenning with ALLMIND.
@@samaron8970 well if that helps the big laser sword's charged attack can obliterate all 4 mini iguazus in phase 1 in one hit if you time it well "you can still dash during the charge to cancel it if your sure it won't land" which saves a lot of time and especially ammo And can also insta stagger phase 1... again as long as you time it well Phase 2 don't bother with the flying spiders they will die when he enters phase 3 and both always do the same attack so as long as you see what the first one does the second will do the same and staying in the air basically makes it so that they can't hit you So yeah I hope that helps with reaching phase 3 quicker... It still takes time though especially if you mess up
@@dragonslayer3552 I didn't have the oscolator at the time, I was using redshift because its sweep did ok on the adds as well, and it did work on the bosses too, the first two phases weren't much of an issue, the problem was that the boss could combo me to death in the third phase reguardless of how many repair kits I had, he's activate my terminal armour in one combo, then kill me in the second. I swear I saw him chain nine hits one time.
@@samaron8970 yea I gave you those hints to get to last phase faster so you can practice on it Just focus on learning what each move does and how to dodge it and always try healing even when at 50% cause he will combo you to death When he does the airplane thingy fly up and then he always comes from behind for a melee followed by a triple shockwave that you can dodge by falling down since your on the air or going up if your somehow in the ground His melee attacks are dodged by dashing backwards but be careful not to deplete your energy if you spam dash Laser volley can be dodged by simply moving right or left but sometimes he will cancel it into a big beam that you need to be ready to side dash

Worn out gamer 4, about the drop in depth 1, it's not straight to the bottom. It stop when the thing closed and is located directly across the room from the place you open the hole again
Great video as always. I had an idea for a challenge run. You could try beating the game using only weapons and parts produced by RAD the faction lead by Carla in the game. They are mostly gimmick weapons but some of them like the flamethrower and sweet sixteen shotgun are pretty cool.
I'm digging these challenge runs, keep it up homie! And (assuming this run was after and not before the Jail Break build run), it definitely looks like you got better, and that this run was easier for you, since that build is even weaker than this one!
As someone who completed all missions with Loader 4, with max OS Tuning from the start, it is super possible but BOY does it really require both patience and ammo conservation, especially against certain bosses.
IquanaMind... its pet C-Spiders... the damn arena occasionally allowing you to be pushed out of bounds and stuck in place to be beat down like we all like doing to Iguana... All of those made that fight lead to me breaking my Cardinal Rule... No Tank Warfare Simulator.... 2 minutes and 0 deaths later using the 2x JVLN Alpha, 2x Stun Needles, Wrecker, Ve-40A, Tian-Lao Arms and Bornemissza tank treads with the p10SLT and VP-20S with Assault Armor I beat him... he hard countered my lightweight build and my generalist builds though...
Amazing job on persevering the fights that the ENTIRE GAME has to offer as Loader 4 and coming out on top! I have only done the Raven, Ayre, and Allmind fights myself (with max OS Tune for all 3) but I cant imagine how much more painful it is to do the whole game also with accurate OS Tunes…
Yeah. I did this for my 5th? 6th? playthrough. The most frustrating/hardest things were the fight double AC fight (mistakes were MADE), fighting the PCA bosses (they hit hard and stagger combo like a mother fucker), everytime I wanted a cool ending(restarted lots of easy and long bosses like 2 to 6 times), IBIS (longest one by far just because you have to play it safe one stagger on you and donezo), and that god damn crusher ( it was here i learned rusty WILL leave you to fight that bitch alone if you take too long). Also you literally made every "Big" solo boss harder by not using the hard lock on. There is not reason not to use it on them
For another chllange... I saw a different video on "beating AC6 without moving" where Laser Lance+laser slicer was their only movement option. (the mad sonova actually did it) I cant find it anymore, and would love to see you repeat it so I have a video to point to.
I'm gonna do my own run of this game. The Body parts will be the same as [Loader 4] but the rest will be modified. Just because I also want that "Lore Accurate" cutscene and playthrough. This but with two missiles (plus kicking) was what I used to kill Balteus in my first playthrough! It took a lot of learning on that fight, but Loader 4 (I call mine Rook) is surprisingly versatile. After that fight I went dual Gatling dual songbirds and never looked back XD

honestly feels like the only direct weakness of basic loader 4 is the internal parts being very weak. assault rifles are decent enough after 1.3, and the pulse blade is the mvp.
Challenge aside, I found melee weapon from this build very useful and used for a long time during 1st playthrought. But will never try build as whole, as I want to relax with 2 Zimmermans in PvE and don't stress. :P Idea - Only shoulder without fists or only arms weapons challenge (2 Linear Rifles perhaps?)
You should try to play with dual lazer pistols with a build somewhere in between medium to light AC. I usualy equip a songbird and something else depending on the mission
There is a spot when descending in deep exploration 1 where you can move toward the wall and fall straight to the bottom without getting hit by the laser. Found it on accident, scaffolding looking one.
Holy shit! I can't believe it. I've seen challenge boss fights using Loader 4 on Ibis & a couple others but not every single one. You forgot Strider, Cataphract & Snail/Balteus, unless they're in the video & I missed it. I wanted to call bullshit on the Allmind but I can't. I guess I can add Loader 4 to my AC's & play around with the colors & put decals on it. Maybe throw a different head just to say it's modified. For me Ibis & Ayre are the toughest bosses. They're the only ones that took me over 6 tries & hours to beat. But once I beat Ayre I said I am never fighting her again & I meant it. The bad ending I cried to. The toughest part of her fight is the dialogue & she's fast. Same with Ibis, Walter doesn't shut up.
Btw, you don't need to do this, but: how about a melee only run, Escape level included? (can empty guns to throw for fists). Yes, Allmind phase 3 could be the most difficult stuff you could do with melee, but perhaps it could be interesting. Sawblades grinders though..figuring them out is going to be messy.
Dude, HELP IF YOU CAN! I'm doing the default Loader 4 run, but without OS Tuning. So no boost kick, no expansion, no weapon bay to switch and use my fists. I've done the FoR ending already, and I feel confident that I can do most missions successfully... Except Defend The Dam Complex. Could you give me tips on how did you beat this 3 AC gank bossfight?
I did not do this mission in the Loader-4 run but tried it out when I read your comment. For tips take down one of AC's at the beginning, whichever you feel is easier to deal with but preferably the slowest. Then when Raven comes in bait them to one end of the map, then quickly make your way to the other. Use whatever MT's that are there as a distraction when fighting Raven because NIGHTFALL will get to you faster than the other AC's, it is a long and annoying fight so good luck!
@@Worn-outGamer4 yeah i was thinking that maybe separating them was going to be the only way. I've tried to reach the side of the map from where Raven spawns to immediately engage with him while the other 2 that are slower take their time to get along, but from the middle of the map to the side I don't have enough time to beat Raven before the others gank me. Getting them from one limit of the map to the other sounds painfully long, but i guess that's the only way possible
i feel like they made the tutorial boss much easier... i just tried it again yesterday after the update and it never went fully outside of the map during the fight and only once brushed up against the barrier. tried it again and only brushed up against the barrier twice. its total health seemed slightly smaller as well and with less missiles (and missle tracking). also i encountered a super weird glitch that one time allowed me to hit a third melee attack with the cannon 621 AC. still have no idea how that happened
The challenge run I’d like to see is all s ranks, while getting every combat log. And no op weapons while you do that. So no songbird, stun needle or Zimmerman.
Daaaaaamn Allmind took me 29 hours in the starter AC, but I used full OS tuning and assault armor, though the AA wasn't much help. I *also* fucked up and didn't record my first win then got one recorded within about 30 minutes lol, maybe Allmind just fucks with your recording software when you try this lmao. Allmind definitely is the most gruelling endurance fight in the game. Although perhaps two things would've alleviated the issues you had: Charge sword strike to instantly stagger the backup ACs in Phase 1, then tap a few times with the gun while they're staggered. (Optional) if you're efficient enough and can keep moving to evade Iguazu's bullets, aggressively strike the sea spiders one at a time melee included. They're far softer than the original, so breaking them quickly and effectively is also a way to prevent the many times they shot or sliced you down.
I know there's no difference, but in the Cel 240 fight it feels like every time you went down the "621!" from Walter was getting more intense for a bit. Great win, makes me wanna improve as a player!
Ice Worm with no needle??? I'm over here running *double needles* just for that fight, though I guess that's because I'm not one for challenge runs. Good job, man, can't even imagine doing this myself.
Tip for CEL-240: dont waste ammo when its neutral in 1st phase. It will dodge everything and spawn more lasers for you to dodge. Instead wait until it locks itself into an attack animation like the very telegraphed one it does at the very start of the fight, as it wont actively attempt to dodge, and you can reliably get to point blank range while it recovers from its landing
