It’s sick to see Sulla get some spotlight! He’s probably one of my favorites out of the ‘one encounter and then dead’ AC pilots you meet throughout the game. I wondered how practical his build would be beyond his original fight just because for me pulse weapons and rockets are p situational. Great video as always!
Yo same! When I found out he was a candidate I was like damn I really wish we got some more of him. It was kind of crazy that we were fighting someone that high in the arena ranks that early. Also he deserves Assault Armor lol
There's is G7 Hakra who died before we ever met him if we want to get real technical but yeah. Didn't get to hear him call Iguazu a dumbass enough and he leaves a wholesome message. RIP
Fucker was the first arena fight to make me genuinely frustrated. He was the only one I couldn't reliably linear overcharge stagger/pile bunker into oblivion.
Yeah fr, I can't remember his arena rank rn but looking back it's like we went up against someone that high up on the board that early? 621 is actually a damn good pilot in lore then
No controller no keyboard the man is a legend two flight controllers and gas pedals super sick setup and awesome way to immerse yourself into the game brother you just got a new sub🤙🏾
I have a challenge run for you the "Liberator of Rubicon is no mercenary" essentially you are the liberation front ace pilot and they decide to allocate all recourses to you, you are only able to use all the part available for the resistance, but once you die you can't use those pieces as they were lost to the fight for rubicon, you have access to the money that the liberation front would have use to pay a mercenary to get more parts but they can only be from manufacturers that canonically help them, and you have access to multiple of the same pieces for example you have 3 basho core set since they have 3 pilots using them separately well it's just an idea but enjoy if you pick to go with it
RLF doesn't have many members either so maybe I could give them their own G13 of sorts like I do with the redguns to even out their team and match the vespers 8
@domomosh you could add the freelancer assassin that the front recruited or even being able to use rusty's AC in missions that the vespers don't participate, not to mention you can add the steel haze ortus to the team by the time the ortus is available to the front which should be around the mission where you fight rusty
I'll actually have a run him coming through for the next allmind ending! It doesn't have him facing himself but I did use him against himself in the vesper nuzlocke
@@domomoshseems i need to watch that run of yours then. Hes one of my favorites because hes just so different personality wise from the rest of the Vespers. A Michigan run would also be interesting. That mans charisma had me wishing i could join Balam proper.
I really love the narration and voice-acted Sulla dialogue here, as well as how you take the time to go over the deaths you take along your runs overall. I've actually entirely been thinking of taking on an RLF run myself the more bored I get with Ranked, probably using only the Fingers, and Rokuboi due to his affiliation with Ziyi in particular. Before anything is a MIND BETA run, though.
Thank you so much! Sulla's one of my favorites so I really wanted to try and nail his voice. I think the preset ac runs are great ways to break up the monotony a bit as well. Funnily enough though I am on the opposite path. I was getting burnt out on PvE and the PvP community recently has been super supportive so I've been getting into ranked this last week or so. Just hit A last night! Also if you want to up the suspense and risk of the RLF run I'd definitely recommend the nuzlocke or permadeath rules! I'll be getting to Kate soon though just have so much on my plate to edit 😭
I have an idea on ways you can not only follow a reasonable story for a character but also get an ending that fits them. We'll use Allminds as an example here. Say you follow Allminds missions up to killing O'Keefe, but thats where you think your character would stop following Allmind, you would instead either intercept or ambush. You could folloe a reasonable story and then 90° into a different ending
I thought about asking if you were doing this for Sulla! Can we expect to see a Walter play through? I would love it and it might be a fun time for you given his build. Keep up the great work on your videos man!
he's actually next AC preset video! I already have his script halfway-ish done. Next week will be the redguns Nuzlocke then the week after should be Walter!
I would love to see thumb dolmyan next his AC is very intresting with some lovely benefits (kikaku booster with a mellee blade) and some huge downsides (terrible generator regen)
He's someone I'm actually really interested in playing as well so we'll see it happen soon but he'll be a few videos away since I'd like to do this route with him as well. Appreciate the watching!
I kind of want to do throwback/revisit videos and that's one on my list so it's been on my mind. I'd drop the "I see you're a man of culture as well" gif if I could haha
You know i see all these builds and then you have me. Struggling with anything but my highly mobile twin Cheng Chen and Dual Earshot build. Love the game though and really should practice other builds.
That's partially why I started doing these. I'm bad about getting stuck to something and just using what works while this has had me going hmm maybe I will try that out on top of getting appreciation for character builds and ideas in how to make them work.
Yeah I wish he could've pulled out in a escape pod to come back for a later appearance especially after his affiliation with allmind was revealed. Imagine he was the one waiting for you at the end of MIA but with an upgraded loadout or an alt ending where he takes iguazu's place in NG++
I soooooo want a 5 way fight between the player, Iguazu, Snail, Rusty, and Chatty. Hell go all out and throw in Michigan and Carla too lol would be the most mecha of mech fights in AC history!
Bamco and FromSoft have their work cut out for them if they are to really open up to their community and make their game fully engaging to its max and true potential (ie. how Bungie/343 did Halo, with Forge and game modes)
I think it would be interesting to do a video like this with Kate Markson as one of AllMind personalities that was ment for combat becoming self-aware as meets Ayre.
@@domomosh Good strat to kite him into the tunnel though. Stumbled upon your channel recently. I am digging the AC6 content my dude. Keep it up. I saw on another channel a "Rouge-lite" run of this game. I would love to see your take on that as well. Seems like a lot of fun and right up your alley.
I'd say go for it! I love the explosive thrower and didn't think I'd like it till I tried him out. I think I actually have pater on the "backlog" of videos so that shouldn't be too too long!
I tried Michigan's AC after I reluctantly chose the "Intercept the Redguns" mission (Literally the only mission I had yet to play after getting all three endings, never wanted to kill Michigan.) It was... shockingly a good fit for me. Even the explosive thrower, which I never used, was quite good in my opinion.
I have to ask, after playing this game so long with the stick set up, how natural do the controls feel? Because after 180 hours with a controller, it feels like an extension of my hands. Like, i think it, and it just happens now. P.s. your edits for the name glitches are flawless!
It feels so alien when I go back. Hell I'll go and play other games and my hands are like "no wrong, tiny joystick for thumb bad, big joystick for whole hand good, I don't like change" lmao and thank you! @anubis520 mentioned it once and I was like oh yeah I could have some fun this! Honestly one of my favorite things I've edited
could you try an allmind rout run using a Dom Trooper cosplay build? the build is the mind alpha arms, the mind alpha core, the heavy VP legs, the head from Carla's machine, the majestic bazuka, your choice of either the ransetsu AR or the new heavy machine gun for right arm and right back (bazuka for arm rifles for back), the two cell siege missile or the 10 cell missile, and the stun batan on the left. paint scheme is all purple for the body, grey for the weapons except for the clilindrical part of the batan as that is to be a bright orange. no glow for any part and a decal custom placed on the head using the hollowed out plus sign in red with a pink circle in the center (this is to replicate the Dom's eye). expansion can be whatever you want, and internals can be whatever you feel is best.
Possibly! I was actually thinking of doing a gundam themed (franchise or the MS's themeselves) nuzlocke in the future in so at the very least I'll be sure to incorporate it there! did you want me to add this as a viewer build for the general nuzlockes I'm doing?
Armoured Core six is such a fun and engaging game that held my focus all the way through NG++... the issues came after, put simply, S ranking the missions is the one thing in the game that is not fun, it's extremely tedious and the requirements are so, inconsistant, I'll completely botch some missions and still come out with the S tier while playing out of my mind on others and being stuck with A tiers, Grid 086, Attack the watchpoint alt version, and the first Rusty fight both alt and regular arw missions I can't seem to get S tier on. I feel like beating Sulla, his snipers and Balteus with only one repair kit should he enough for the S tier, same with beating Rusty and grid 086 with no repair kits at all, but sometimes the game disagrees, yet other missions where I end up clearing it on my last repair kit apparantly do deserve the S tier. I just want to know what I'm doing wrong.
I found a website online where dataminers reverse engineered the scoring algorithm, which helped me with it (even though I still never actually finished S rank on all missions just because even knowing what to do I was getting frustrated) but yeah it's a bit baffling how opaque the game is about it. Mostly it's good to know which enemies are worth points and therefore worth going out of your way for, and when you should just ignore them all and gun it for the objective. Usually it's the latter but not always, like in infiltrate grid 086 it's basically impossible to S rank without taking out that AC in the smelter for example.
@@Graknorke Really? It never occured to me to go after him because he's so out of my way. It's just annoying because the game is so good, and I want to play more of it, but replaying the same mission over and over again trying to perfect tiny details is not a way to enjoy the game. It kept me engaged throughout three playthroughs, it's sad to see it become tedious right at the finish line.
Your note on the escape pod reminded me of a question that had bugged me on my play through. Of all of the ac pilots you beat who actually manages to bail from their ac when you beat them. And I. Extension how does the ejection system work for an ac?
Unfortunately he was one of the videos lost in the tragic "my laptop decided to shit itself" catastrophe of 2024. I made his challenge semi-permadeath. Basically his whole loadout is worth about 1.7 mil coam so my restriction to myself was that I only had my 3 repair kits and my ap carried over from each mission till I was able to pay back my debt. From there I could earn a balance in case my AC got destroyed i'd have some insurance but if I didn't have enough and had my AC destroyed I'd go back in debt. If I lost my ac when I was already in debt then it was gameover and man it had it some close calls towards the end so I'm super bummed it didn't make it but I'll revisit it eventually!
I normally just help the Ghosts kill Iguazu. He proceeds to call you a psycho and protests why we won't make it unless we work together. I proceed to smash his face and all the ghosts. Oh, Iguazu...
Hah! I usually kill the ones going after me, then stand back and watch one of the rare instances of CPU vs CPU in the game. He... does *not* fare well against the whip-ghosts.
YO, THANK YOU SO MUCH I don't even know what to say but I'll keep trying to pump out the content! Do you have a build for the nuzlocke run I could throw in? It's the least I could do
If your still doing the fan ac nuzlocke Heres mine Hml g2 Ws 5000 Delivery boy Ws 5001 soup Frame Hc 3000 Ve 40a Nachtreiher Rc 2000 spring chicken Inner Bc 0200 gridwalker Wlt 001 Df gn 08 san tai And assault armour. And the ac name is the dish.
heya! great run man! not to nag you, but i just wanted to ask if you saw my submission for the viewer nuzlocke i put under the pinned comment on the vespers nuzlocke. if not, i can put it here if you like! gl with future runs!
No worries at all! I actually just added it not too long ago. I'm prepping to start the viewer nuzlocke for tonight's stream and trying to figure out a balanced amount of people for each ending! It might not be in the NG clear but probably NG+ or ++ depending on the order of everyone's submissions
Re-looking at Sulla's AC weapons/ frame and paint scheme it has me wondering if Sulla is reference to Nineball as he certainly looks similar to the original Nineball back in AC1. Also, with Nineball being an AI and with Sulla's connections to Allmind it really has me wondering if this is the case. On an unrelated note, the detonating bazooka and pile bunker are the most satisfying ways to punish stagger in this game and is always fun even when on the receiving end.
I still need to go back and play the older games beyond 4 because I want to learn more about nineball without spoiling it for myself more than I already have (not by your dont worry haha) but that's intersting to know and yeah I was so glad the jvln got that weight decrease because I like it but it just kills your speed and arm carrying capacity. Thanks again for coming through on the videos and streams homie!
We were holding off to do some co-op mod shenanigans but with it taking a second and all the requests for snail and michigan I might cave and revisit their run
Very curious how you personally would upgrade his parts. Also this isn't a request or anything of the sorts but a Walter run would be pretty interesting, mainly to see what kind of story perspective you'd give him.
