"So stealth didn't work out"... I say that way too often in this game, especially on the Heist. I have every intention of being all ninja like, then one of those guys sees me and instead of saving his own ass and saying nothing, he's gotta alert the whole neighborhood and bring ruin to himself, his friends, his family, the poor guy trying to get a coffee, everyone in the last city block. All he had to do was phone in his job for several minutes and life would be fine, but now I have to punish them all.
@@BomberDX kinda normal in a complete lockdown situation when the emperor has been murdered I would guess. We're not the only ones with open lines to the "squad".
@@BomberDX Wait really? I was very strict about stealth only on my first few playthroughs. Every mission can be completed with stealth, even the Heist. Did they change that mission so you can't now?
@@dpt300 Not completely, if you one-shot everyone you can still stealth it but you can't just kill someone fast enough for no alert like in a normal situation
@@christopherwray4788 who knows. But V always has implants, even when you don't actually buy them in the game. Corpo path starts out with V getting their chrome deactivated, but not removed. Abilities like dash, quake, throwing fully grown men over your head with your bare hands and so on - they can't be anything but implants. I'd love it if they make so that you have to have some chrome in order to use these perks. Like with cellular adapter or some shit
@@kikosawa Even if what you said is true, I don't get why The Tower ending completely strips V of all abilities. Like, there is Cyberware that would probably never even interact with his nervous system and abilities that can clearly still be used without implants like the regular version of dash that is essentially, just V jumping forward. I really wished there was a low cyberware version of the Tower ending, where V changes his life for more than necessity or physical impairment, like what we see Judy doing.
This guy is so pure. I’m not talking about any innocence nonsense, as online content has gotten muddied by financial motivations this guys content just feels so naturally entertaining. This guy showed me how I wanted to learn to play the game!
The real challenge try playing the main story line and nothing but the main story line and beat the game. No gigs, side quests, NCPD jobs, no running around and farming NPCs or Phantom Liberty. That's a challenge, because you have to make real choices, deconstruct to upgrade, sell to have money, or advance the story because Rogue needs 15K eddies to find Hellman.
I'm shocked, Ben. To think that a silent guy steadily rolling out the absolute bangers of gameplay videos, would also make for a RU-vidr who actually talks!
I have been playing no cyberware highest difficulty for a while, melee stealth is so EASY in this game, especially when you can use recon grenade, except you can't stealth take down robot, armor enemy and drone. For example during Heist I single handily take down ALL ENEMIES except the guy in front door, without killing anyone(1st play through, 2nd play through I knock them out then a dagger to the head). Using throwing dagger can also drag attention from enemy. It works slightly different from recon grenade, because it's louder, and enemy will know your position but unable to detect you yet. You can even left a body at middle of room and let enemy spot it, and take him down when he comes to check it
isnt it weird? I mean wakako is affiliated with tigers yet sends you on missions to kill them, padre got affiliated with tinos yet sends you to kill them, this goes for every fixer
@@Cyromantik I do a lot of studying computer stuff but legit still don't know much about I frames not gonna lie. I have done some little modding here and there to tweak camera stuff in a few games though as part of long mods lists in the past. I have played a ton of the game just melee but on hardest difficulty that's nuts with also being 1st person in this vid
so i just finished a hardest difficulty, No Hud, No cyberwear, no armor, no unrealistic movement upgrades(dash), no resistance stats, no healing, no stealth, kill everyone with a healthbar) yes that made dogtown a living hell to walk through) ... and probably some others i forgot. however i used guns, i didnt consider doing melee only but it really kicks it up a notch. maybe one day i will revisit that, but truly beating that run last night was one of the hardest gaming challenges ive done, and boy o boy have i done a lot.
I kind of play the same way, just not very hard. And no blades. No killing. No armour, no guns. I do have the optics and the cyberdeck that Viktor gave us at the beginning, but no other cyberware. I use takedowns and if the enemy is positioned that way, quickhacks to bait them (also the recon grenade, which they go to investigate). In my second playthrough I will try very hard and see if I can play the same way or not. Oh, and I use short-circuit against the drones.
I just did everything you can do in watson before talking to Jackie and visiting Viktor. I only used the distraction and choked everyone out. No guns, weapons or fists used at all. That is all the ncpd, gigs, and tasks. It took longer because of waiting for correct positioning. O and I did have to fight beat the brats, but that is kinda of a different task. Wait I did use a weapon on two robots because you cannot choke the out.
This vid makes me try this challenge but with Enemies of Night City and Hardcore22 mod... I think Im lossing some braincells against cyberpscycho but have to adapt and makes the game like an actual hardcore shooter for me.😅
I did this too. The Chimera was by far the nastiest fight for me. Like you, I ate dirt on car chases with drones and the side mission with the hacker and the car chase there as well. Hilariously that stariwell fight on the Wakkako mission one of them threw a grenade at me, it bounced off the door jam and fell back down on them wasting all of them. My next play is going to be fists only but I will have cyber for that one.
If ;you allowed yourself rear takedowns and grenades it would have been much easier. With Adam he is weak to electrical and hitting the weakpoints will always do the most damage of any strike possible. AND....explain to me how you beat the random combat situations where you are stuck at a position where 2 carloads of Maelstrom or Tygers or ? are attacking you and on you almost immediately and other than having dash you cant escape a couple of skull level enemies with sandevistans and mantis blades running up on you with a bunch of guys shooting at you at the same time? I see how difficult it is to deal with a single melee enemy you are having and the only way I can beat them is with a shotgun and grenades at low level (i dont have the same attributes as you and dont have dash or fortified ankles or double jump) but I have reboot optics to stop them from attacking, but you dont. The only way to defeat them is to run away and have them not be able to find you but combat? no way.
I only ever play on very hard. Just got a PS5 finally three weeks ago, & cyberpunk is the first game I updated & played. I alrdy had well over 600 hrs in the PS4 version up to like, 1.6(?I think?), & I just got over 100hrs today. OH MY GOD, what an improvement. What a fucking game. I mean I alrdy loved the fuck out of it, but now? It's like playing cyberpunk 3 or some shit. I like your channel. Cheers. Edit: Why - *_OH WHY_* - are you not throwing knives? The rule is no _guns,_ not no ranged weapons! What a total waste!
