What build should I do next??

I just started playing, and I'm realizing how little I've scratched the surface on understanding this game. There is so much more potential than I dreamed of.

I started as a net/blade stealther... but gawt DAM I couldn't resist the fancy tech/body stuff...Went 20 reflex/body/tech. Perma adrenaline, blade finishers, pimped out arm launcher, air dashes... Absolute unkillable monster in a straight up fight even vs an army of maxtech. 100% uptime of 100% mitigation change, 90% mitigation strength. Near instant refresh of hp/launcher charges and super cdr for sandy

That's a awesome build. Kinda like a glass cannon V build, but with camo and stealth it's definitely lethal. Also who doesn't love playing as a katana swinging and blade throwing V, just has ALL of the badassery you could want.

So glad to see this build updated. 😃 Based on my personal play I have some extra notes about quickhacks: -Suicide just not justify the slot anymore. It does exactly what it says: the enemy puts their gun to their head and pulls the trigger. In 2.0, on many tougher enemies this is not enough damage to kill them and you are immediately put into combat. Instead I would run System Collapse (formerly System Reset), which does what Suicide should do and is non-lethal. Cyberpsychosis also does Suicide's job much better in that the enemy will attack it's allies and then shoot themselves once their allies are all dead. -There are iconic variants of all the Tier 5 Legendary quickhacks that are all improved over their normal Tier 5 version in some way. For instance, Iconic Tier 5 Sonic Shock costs only 2 Ram instead of 6. Iconic T5 Ping has double the normal duration. Iconic Overheat causes an extra 20% thermal damage to be inflicted to burning enemies instead of 10%, and so on. So far I have only acquired these iconic quickhacks as random drops from the Lv 3 Data Extraction at Access Points.

was using a friends setup and wasnt really having the same FUN results, saw this and its detailed explanation helped i just repec'd alil as my attributes were already in place and switched few cyberware and qh and ya lots of fun the movement increase was what i was looking for the most and kitanas are nasty ty for this, ill work off it

It's worth noting that Contagion also doesn't need overheat to cause an explosion, any fire proc will do. I've been running a similar build to this with thermal monowire, errata and the new fire revolver. One of the reasons thatsa big deal is because some of the cyberdecks with lower ram capacity have really great unique effects like chance to spread to other enemies so a single contagion could spread to the entire battlefield if the first cast hits 2-3 peopel at once, plus it stacks twice so theres no harm in it overlapping on the same taget.

I'm in the process of building this. You def gave me some ideas though. I focused on cool first and was calling it my net ninja

great video, always good stuff from you. i used to do something similar with jinchu maru pre 2.0. agree with you on some of the perks being too situational, i skipped the same perks as you. like bullet time seems pretty useless considering kerenzikov no longer affects blades and im usually not deflecting in sande. im doing a somewhat similar build using sandevistan instead of hacks, so went body instead of int to make myself beefier for the short time sandes on cd. scalpel is really good for the crit chance if you go sande instead, i think its probably the best katana in the game or at least tied with byakko. i wish we could get more optical camo uptime so that jinchu maru is better, i find myself primarily using throwing knives if im going stealth, so for my play its effect isnt quite as useful. our cyberware are also similar except for some of my own roleplay. my build is themed as a "lightning samurai" since scalpel does shock damage and buffs it. other than the sande i took everything electricity themed. ticking time bomb perk, vulnerability analytics, and of course shock n awe. theres just constant emps going off around me which is a lot of fun, the only downside is its annoying once in a while when you accidentally kill a civilian but oh well, it fits the theme. i also am using the electric projectile launch system to have a more aggressive ranged option for larger dogtown packs and robots. black mamba trades my jugglers poison damage for a raw damage boost, so against maxtac and other bosses i just throwing knife their head/weakspot then start swinging with damage boosted guaranteed crits in sande, its pretty fun. because of this i swap accelerated toxin absorption for corrosion, and also because without quickhacks bots become just slightly more of a problem for melee.

Int 20, Ref 20, Cool 20, Tech 17, Body 4(10) Gorilla Arms. Fun to swap around between swords, snipers, smgs, assault rifles, pistols/revolvers, knives, hacks, and some punching. Don't be afraid to regularly swap around perk points. Great video for a great sandbox.

This build is dope. Mine is a Sandevistan samurai/assassin build. Throwing knife, katana(byakko forever), silenced pistol. Maxed out reflex, Cool, and Technical

“I’m just zoomin’!” I laughed 😂 this is awesome. Looking to do my one attribute respec based around movement and a Sandevistan this gave me some ideas.

Assault tree is the current main damage of the build I’m currently using (with a second in blades just cause I had extra points) carmine (with legendary Taipei) and fenrir specifically. Only took to sprint crouching. Don’t know if it’s a bug, but aiming and being crouched you move as fast as if you were standing with the specific perk. Got Relic PL System burst, and weakness exploit to add to down chaos. Adrenaline to spec into high soldier Tank stats. Highly recommended. Builds V is calm and professional. But when the bhargest taught you after a mission, I decided to go full psycho and death with the pretty easily.

Ii got 250 hrs in just a few into PL I decided to use my lv 50 character and watching this video it pretty much on par with my character I will definitely take off few intelligence pers that I can transfer towards cool ...thanx for the info

So your build is probably one of the most versatile builds out there and I didn't notice till I do the knife headshots that how big the hitbox it is even if you don't do the headshots a simple stagger animation can allow the the main melee weapon to leap upfront and attack him. Well done I was looking for a build like that the builds that were versatile like this unfortunately are pre 1.6

For anyone starting this in very hard it might be helpful to focus cool and knives first till you get tech. I tried both int and cool to start with and without all the good tech net runners need ranged weapons to stay out of main conflict. Cool allows you to avoid damage entirely with stealth. Once you get cool to 15 you can choose what you wanna focus on, I got reflexes to 15, then int, then tech and am wrapping it up with 20 int maybe 20 reflexes and tech. That’s what worked best for me.

Been having fun with ambush netrunner using rifles and smg. It also fun doing contagion and psalm rifle with burn so they chain explode 😂

I’ve been having fun with my all around build with an emphasis in blades. Next I want to try a pistol only build and maximize headshot specs.

The new tech skill tree is crazy, also reflexes and body. Previously the netrunner was the most overpowered and had the most cyberware but now I fell like all options are available. I'm running the body, tech and reflexes, basically a tank with a katana and poping enemies weaknesses to electrocute them at distance, also the new machete that is a war crime is super strong and is the same basic weapon as katanas.

with good deck u can max the left side of reflexes to pick 2 smart smg's and swap them after 0 bullets, they reload automatic and this is sick too

If you are going in both int and reflex already, you can do dual smart SMGs for no reload time. A lot more powerful than it sounds

You can do a pure netrunner build with points in body, tech and reflexes. The netrunner part - once overcharged, you will one shot everyone with a single synapse burnout (for bosses - two-three in a queue will do the trick). With each kill with a synapse burnout, overcharge will extend the duration and cyberware will restore your HP. So basically, you will have endless overchange and endless HP as long as there are enemies. Add all slow-time cyberware to the equation - and nobody could even shot you back. Also, given 20 points in your body (60 lvl with phantom liberty), you will have an adrenalin rush, extending your health from an already solid 400-500 health level. I would say this build is more overpowered compared to pre-2.0 CP2077 due to all 2.0 features.

SMG is a really good tree for for a in-your-face hacker. Really good synergy for smart SMGs, and the Militech board boosts damage and makes your upload queue practically immediate. Smart SMG can hit four enemies, so Overclock, throw down a contagion and overheat, and watch a group chain explode. I'm gonna try switching over to katanas tho. Looks cool with the hacks.

Since you asked, I pretty much Maxed out assault rifle with my netrunner build and it works amazing. Since I didn’t use them in the base game I decided to max it out. Hacks, pistols, and AR’s are my go to combo right now

My first playthrough was balderunner with sandy, was gonna do a netgunner build on my second playthrough but after playing through act 1 i just can't get over throwing knife/katana build so this build seems perfect (cus i wanna use cyberdeck once)

I'm currently making a netrunner cyberbomb build. The build idea is a cyberpyshco netrunner, It has 18 body, 20 reflexes, 20 int, and 20 tech. It focuses on using cyberware and smart guns to become literal death. So there's a perk in the int tree where you can get ram back based on the size of the final hack used in your queue. So if that quickhack is something like suicide with its massive 24 ram cost you basically get all your ram back. So using the tetronic rippler this is the order you go. Overclock, synapse burnout, reboot optics, suicide. Kills anything, restores your ram, AND extends overclocks duration it's broken

I personally do something similar to this but its full quick hacks with smart weapons with juggler and a lot if the other perks you had in cool, then I have the dashing perks and that's it, its a lot of stealth but I can still do good dmg with smart weapons which gives me ram on kill.

Started with a netrunner, cool pistoleer build. Netrunner could keep up overclock infinitely with the tech tree's "Borrowed Time" perk, and synaptic burnout. It got boring fast, as I could just walk in a room, overclock, synaptic burnout everyone, and walk out. Instant death to everyone. HP is not a problem, becasue bio monitor and blood pump keep on pumping me full of HP. Switched to sandy knife flinger. Still being unstoppable with instant death headshots with knives, and few good shots with bald eagle, but it's more engaging.

This would be a great build for Ciri

I'm doing net knife, with a smart pistol as backup. I cycle my 1 & 2 Nehan and Stinger, as one will 100% set bleeding or poison, poison if bleeding is present on the target, bleeding if poison is present, and Nehan on hit is 100% to apply bleeding, so even if my headshot with the knives don't immediately kill, the debuffs give their lives a short fuse. I know Nehan is best paired to Satori for their Arasaka Vampire goodness but I'm having too much fun throwing knives in this fashion.

I liked the smg tree to the top. Its is ungodly with kerenznakov. You basically become a untargatable minigun

Could you replace the cool perks and attribute point investments with body instead? Seems like a fair trade if you want to throw stealth out the window for more survivability.

I’m going to have to give this a try. My previous Netrunner Samurai is essentially worthless due to the removal of Plague, the mega nerf of Contagion and the ultra nerf of Satori.

In my testing the 'Can't Touch This" perk isn't working atm. It's not reflected in the character sheet when dashing, and it didn't reduce my dmg taken when I singled out a revolver guy to test it against (w/ 90% mitigation strength). Tho in my testing I've found ai can almost never hit you during a dash anyway, so it wouldn't do much even if it was working.

question do the melee perks buff your throwing knife damage if your just using it in melee instead of throwing it?

I play as a net runner but I only play non lethally. so Static shock and System collapse are my top choices

1:20 i used the submachine gun fun perk and with air dash and double jump the game basically turns into doom eternal. practice makes perfect is basically just a bunch of pacifier and penetrator mods for free. and i didnt really use any of the other perks that much. mind over matter and spice of life are just anti recoil and anti spread muzzles disguised as perks. while everything else is just stamina related wich i didnt notice too much. then again i used a shotgun on the side wich perks are based around having low stamina.

This build looks great and I'm going to be using it to sort of fine tune my own similar build. Questions though, isn't it a little redundant to use a katana with mantis blades? Why not just ditch them for more cyberware capacity in other areas?

the “her majesty” pistol has been a new favorite for me, you get it during the tower heist with reed. but “archangel” revolver is still stronger, just not silenced

they need to add speedy physics based sprint so you would like charge up and start sprinting and increasing untill u go ultra bling and get exhausted or need to stop and went for a moment xD

I've seen so many people increase crit too much, I'm new to the game but I don't see why would you use handle wrap if you already have 100%crit after doing a dash... Am I missing something? Does the exceed crit chance over 100 go to crit dmg instead or something?
