Press Continue did a No Stamina run in DS3 and it was completely miserable lol. But notably you have to face tank a lot of hits since you don't have any ranged attack options, because spells now use stamina. So no I don't think it's possible but please print me wrong!
I like challenges like this which are actually kind of a puzzle and require a different approaches to stuff that's normally easy. Way more interesting than stuff like broken sword only, where the approach is exactly the same but it takes forever.
i thought the same during the blighttown poison part. Having to get all of those buffs and combining different strats just to get through an environmental hazard sounds like a metroidvania or a zelda game with emerging gameplay to me tbh

@@tototriceps the thing is the designers make these big ass games with tons of things that next to no one uses (i'm talking things pointless items for example), and they kinda funnel you into a set strategy, like "this is how the game is meant to be played". But then mfs like you come and completely bend and warp using mods and cheat engines that kill the designers' intent, yet the mechanics are so absurdly robust and well put together and you guys so skilled that they're still beatable, albeit in the most obscure way imaginable

13:45 Sorcery can in fact kill the snake guy at the prison. Well, one sorcery can at least, Dark Fog from the DLC. Getting to Dark Fog without any crystal sorcery would have been hell so Great Chaos Fireball was the better option anyway, but I can’t not point it out Also. Congrats on the run, very impressive

Just found out: The amount of damage drained is always rounded down. So if your character's max HP is at 99 then it'll calculate 0.99 damage (the 1% drain) and then round it down to 0.
@@tototriceps There are some shenanigans with getting cursed, the dusk crown ring and the sanctus shield that you also dont lose hp while using power within and being in constant RTR range tough.
You use the Shortcut by giving the Fair Lady 30 hummanities. For the rest you just use Hidden Body and walk past everything. You never need to step into the lava!
You can also get the Tin Crystallization Catalyst by just killing Logan. The only thing that changes if you finish his questline is that you can find his clothes and Logan's Catalyst in a chest where he used to be in the archives.

I feel like it could be very silly, and I want to watch someone beat an npc invader with fire giant health but I’m too bad to do it myself.

Here's an idea can you beat elden ring with only summoned weapons aka spells that sommon a a weapon like the glint blade sorcerys, gavel of hama or Loretta's bow. I don't know if any incantations do that but if ther are they'd be included to. So anything that somones a weapon to attack

Wait, shouldn't Power Within instantly kill you? Or would it not because your max heath is 1 and it only does 1%/second and therefore won't kill until 60 seconds have passed??
RTSR is useless for this run, you could never activate it as you can only have integer health numbers. You would need to lower your health to 0.2 since your max is 1 to activate RTSR which is impossible.

I read with power within works. It drains 1% of max health. So maybe 1% of 1 HP is 0 HP so he never dies. Now, the red stone is like you need to be under 25% of max health for it to take effect. That would mean probably 0HP. But you will be dead then. So maybe the red-stone is useless.

This really sums up most challenge runs for me in dark souls, and kind of the game as a whole.. It all boils down to a single phrase. "It's not hard, it's just annoying." Some games are easy to learn, hard to master.. Dark souls is the perfect example of a game that is hard to learn, but easy to master. The difficulty starts off crazy high, but similar to cup-head, the second you start memorizing enemy's moves, you just enter a state of focus, and suddenly you're first-trying bosses like nothing.

If you want a good challenge in any of these games, keep your levels low and keep pushing through NG+ plays up to NG+7. If it's Demon's Souls, maintain Pureblack Tendency for world and character and no Cling Ring and NG+7.
Wait a minute... how'd you use power within? I thought that pyromancy damages you in return for the power. You should have been dead the second you used it.
During the duration of the spell 100 visual pulses (1 per sec) will happen. On each of those pulses, the player loses 1% of their max HP (rounded down). This also means, that a player having a maximum HP of something that is not divisible by 100 will survive the full duration of the spell with minimal HP left.

Because it only activates when your max HP bellow 20%. My HP is always 1 so it can never get lowered bellow 20% HP anymore... if its lowered your are dead haha
