Can You Beat Enter the Gungeon Without Dodge Rolling? In this bullet storm dungeon crawler, dodge rolling is everything - but what happens if we try and beat the game without using the dodge roll? For this no dodge challenge, we’re going to take down the Gungeon and beat the Dragun final boss using only our basic move set, so we’ll have to get extremely familiar with other ways to avoid damage. But not dodge rolling also brings up some other problems besides enemies, like fire traps and lasers. So, let’s see how the game changes without dodging, and watch Skip the Tutorial try to beat this no dodge roll Is it Possible challenge.

Hey, STT! You can actually get the Boots from the Rat Fight to be able to cross gaps. It will work in the last room, too!

You can get to the Rat Floor if you have flying. It's not any different from any other gap. It does feel a bit redundant though.

The Rat Boots are bugged and don't lose their effect, thus making it possible to use them to get to the credits without dodge rolling.

@@cyrusbutler4995 Not actually. You do lose some item effects, like the Wax Wings, Cat Bullet Throne and Jetpack, but the majority of items keep their effects intact. The reason those ones have their effect stripped is because well, they didn't want people exploring the void, at least not without limit. This is very easily seen by you keeping your speed and still wearing whatever cosmetic changes you have.

Actually... good news. Rat Boots still work in the Aimless Void, and if you have them, you can just walk over the gaps! If you can beat the Rat without rolling, or get very lucky, that is. But yes, it is very possible.

It is possible. Rat boots give you momentary invincibilty from falling into a pit, by putting a rainbow platform over you. It works during the last part of it as well.

All that you need to beat the final room is rat boots, they can be obtained from resourceful rat with some luck, he might be hard to beat without dodge rolling though, so invincibility & blanks would be strongly reccommended

Wax Wings, Desinegator, and some room clearing weapons and your run is golden. I completly skipped from the 1st phase of dragun to the last phase in a few seconds with that gun.

I think I’ve played this game to much I have 500 hours on Switch. I love the video thank you! Also for the path to the bullet you can bypass the dodge rolling with the rat boots. So it is completely possible! I also love the Zelda music with bullet it’s so fitting.

Can you beat Kid Icarus Uprising Without Shooting. If not, then what's the least amount of shots necessary. Rules 1. Shots are counted by enemy death. 2. Shots are the ranged attacks if the weapon being used. Meaning powers in Air Battles don't count. 3. You can choose the intensity.

You can get across the gaps in the Aimless Void if you get the rat boots from the rat fight, but that means you'd have to beat the rat and either hope to get the boots or get all the keys for the chests, but they can also come from black chests once you've unlocked them

The Resourceful Rat's shoes is an item that lets you float over pits for a short time, and it still works in the room with the Gun That Kills the Past. It is possible after all.

actually, the rat, if you manage to get good weapons, a lot of money, and a flight item, you can get to the rat, take the rat boots which allow you to walk over pits for a short time without falling into them, you can get the ending because the rat boots are the only item which allows you to get over pits that works in the final location where you find the gun that kills the past

hey stt, the shotgacola+shotgun coffe+rat boots are crucial to the entire run, the shotgun coffe+cola is for outrunning the "grabs" and the rat boots for the room after the dragun. elder blank can be very useful too

If you don't want to beat the rat, you can also use the ring of ethereal form. Its effects can carry into the aimless void if you activate it in the boss room.

My brother and I were having the worst time doing TV runs. (Someone has to carry the TV 📺 to the last floor to unlock a character, and dodgerolling makes you drop the tv) I was usually carrying the TV while my brother was offense. It was an amazing and brutal challenge in teamwork.

A good idea for another enter the gungeon challenge would be to beat the game without firing bullets, as in Dodge rolling into enemies for damage

Someone has already done this challenge, but the spawned themselves in rat boots and the ring of fire resistance right at the start, rat boots get them past every pit including the last one at the end.

The cheese boots allow you to float in the last room, but the rat would be just about impossible without dodging. So If you play the game in rainbow mode you are able to get the cheese boots without fighting the rat. So I would recommend doing it in rainbow mode (also you would be able to pick your items so you could find the items you need faster)

You could do the last room if you had the Rat's cheese boots. They'd also help a ton with pit rooms since you can exploit the invincibility.

It can be done, but only if you get the Rat’s Boots from Punch-Out. For some reason they work and even let you get out of bounds in the final area.

You should do “Can You Beat Galeem and Dharkon in SSBU Without Attacking?” I think that would be really entertaining and challenging, and I’d probably try it with characters like Ness and Lucas, since they can absorb the boss’ energy projectiles and heal from them, or using heavy characters like bowser and k. Rool so it takes longer to actually get k.o.ed.

After you have taken the rat boots once after defeating the rat, the rat boots will show up in blue tier (c tier) chests. These allow you to walk over gaps. Also, the game doesn't truly end at the Dragun. Beating the Lich is the real challenge.

@@fishydids you can't get buddies that easily, with set junken being unviable, and rolling being terrible against bosses. The only standalone weapon I can think of is the grappling hook thanks to its non damage based reload

Dang it people beat me to telling ya about the rat boots! Although the fight is pretty tough if you can't dodge so if you're up for it definitely aim for flight!

All you need is the Rat Boots or, depending on what you define as a dodge roll, the Bloodied Scarf.

Actually, assuming you get the Rat Boots from the third secret chamber, it is possible to walk over the gaps at the end and finish the run. you're going to have to have some flight item before clearing chamber 3 but assuming you go to the other 2 secret floors beforehand you should have a much easier time.

I think it might be possible if you right the resourceful rat, because if you open all four rat chests and get the items you become the rat, and one of the items abilities is a short immunity to pits as a passive item, and I don't think transformations are removed in the final room

I’m certainly not the first one to mention this, but if you have the Rat Boots, you can cross the gaps in the Aimless Void

There is ONE WAY to clear the final room! If you become The Resourceful Rat, you gain the ability to cross pits and for some reason, you keep it in the final room!
