This run being requested by RayTaylor5176 if you are still watching I am so sorry that it took this long now for this run to finally se the light of day as I ask the question
can you beat Fallout NewVegas as Wolverine?
Now for the game to being, waking up at doc mitchells, naming myself Logan for obvious reasons and to the best of my ability which is not very good trying to make him look as close to the Logan movie as possible. They look the same right?
I then set my stats putting Tens into strength edurance and agility as these are stats that go in line with Wolverines powers in the comics and movies. Splitting the last 8 points into perception and intelligence. I then did the test and chose Unarmed as my main weapon in place for Wolverines claws will be the bladed gauntlet, medicine as for this build health in needed and repair as I couldn’t think of anything else to put.
Stepping out into the wasteland I belive now is the best time to explain what the rules for the run are. As stated previously the bladed gauntlet will be in place of Wolverines claws as I chose to not mod my already broken New Vegas. And due to there not being any yellow spandex for him I will be wearing leather armour to keep as close to the Logan movie as possible. And for an extra help in the run and that Wolverine within multiple instances in comics and movies has characters helping him. And for perks and add ons I made it so I had to at some point in the run obtain the adamantium skeleton perk as it is a main park of Wolverines charachter and have the pheonix implant as it regens health. So i have his abilities as close as possible.
With all of that out of the way let us continue, and the first thing on my mind was to collect the bladed gauntlet as it was my only way of attacking, prior to ky expedition I ran over to chets store to sell him everything I own buying up all his stimpacks and finding a nice set of leather armour that I was going to wear for the rest of the run. With that I made my way to the strip as the only place I knew which sold the bladed gauntlet that being Mick and Ralphs. Using the quick route which is incredibly easy yes there are kasadors death claws and geckos but that is nothing those stimpacks I bought earlier cant fix. Reaching the gate to freside I went in and found mick and ralph, bartering with mick I purchased the claws and an extra pair due to the amount of damage they will be shortly taking.

Would have gone with the saw blade guantlet (Fist of Rawr or the yao guai guantlet might work as well since adamantium would ignore DR) just to get the effect of what it would be like to be stabbed by adamantium, or in the saw blade's case how easily it'd shred through anything. Take EVERY health regen perk (including Rad Child and anything else that offers an over time healing effect - maybe rad absorption to not get too crazy with rads) I'd have gone all intellegence as perception doesn't do much (He's noted to be incredibly intelligent whether he shows it or not) Ninja, Slayer. Probably comprehension, maybe swift learner for one rank. Just for the theme. Strong back, because adamantium skeleton. Burden to Bear because of his mental issues lol. Any perk that deals with survivability, or upgrades unarmed - and all the kill X creature perks. Maybe Hit the Deck as well; because Wolvy has survived a LOT of explosions. Chem resistent as well, since he isn't really affected by drugs. I'd also have taken Heavy handed, and maybe small frame - since his adamantium bones enhance his damage and he's known for being a "runt." You should leave the stats at 9, since you can buy implants to get +1 for all of them. You could leave strength at 7 and agility at either 8 or 7 depending on whether Small frame grants 1 or 2 agility when you buy the agility implant it'd be 10 - take the strength implant; go to Big MT and get reinforced Spine. You'd still be at ten strength that way, but you'd have more points to invest in either intelligence, luck for crits, or Charisma (since Wolverine does have an animal magnetism with the ladies - which reminds me, Lady Killer = He DID kill Jean as the dark phoenix, and he does have Multiple children with a LOT of females) I'd also get the Dermal Armor implant.
