I don't like sand. It's coarse, and rough, and irritating, and it gets everywhere. The twitter I forget to use: / nerbit_13098 ko-fi.com/nerbit #Fallout #Sand #Gaming Music:www.purple-planet.com/
Nerbit, if you go to Jackobstown and start the quest "Unfriendly Persuasion", you could ask what the mercenaries want and they would want 2500 caps. You could later ask Marcus for 3000 caps and keep them for yourself.
Imagine being the most well trained soldier of the legion, built to absolutely obliterate and shred anyone that comes to your path. And the commander of a fearless army. Only to die by some mailman who has brain damage with only some sand.
Agreed. After all, everyone knows that Flamer Fuel is just another name for good, clean burning, American Propane. None of that Communist "Homemade" junk for my Propane Accessories.
I mean logically it makes sense. They were planning on you being intelligent, they have no strategy for dealing with a tenacious nearly unkillable idiot.
can you beat fallout 3/NV/4 only with money? pre-war money shot from a rock-it launcher/junkjet, bottlecap mines, shotgun coinshot slugs and any other weapons where you can damage them with the money itself.
I've played New Vegas an unhealthy amount of times, but I've never once heard of the Khan Trick for the sand attack. Now idea how I missed something fun like that.
there's also the legion assault and ranger takedown special attacks. legion assault is a forward jump with a downward punch power attack and the ranger takedown is a backwards leg sweep able to ragdoll enemies. toss in the sand attack and unarmed becomes really fun
@@SirRoderickThunderbottom The Legion Assault is news to me too. An unarmed run is the one form of offense I've never really bothered with (all the weapons are just too fun), so I guess that caused me to miss out on some of these. Think I'll go install some nice unarmed attack animations and go hunt these things down in a new run now.
I need to do this, the idea of Six scooping up the dust off of a casino floor, instantly turning it into gunpowder, and tossing it at his enemies is hilarious.
When you're unreachable to the death claws, it's not a bug that they run away. They run because you can shoot them without retribution. This is something that has been in these types of games since Morrowind
They didn’t the only factions that settled in the desert are house and BOS The ncr and Legion Are not settled in the Mojave they have expanded to the Mojave The Bos is here cause of helios and the other fun pre war goodies And house has been here for 200 years
When you fall far enough wearing power armor, you deal a small amount of aoe damage around you. Combine this with the jetpack, and you have a really dumb way to fight
This is one of the most creative ideas ever. I also like how you use to two-step goodbye, it makes the fights look so much cooler instead of you throwing sand at them for 20 minutes
Idk if the deathclaws running away from you when you’re at an area they can’t get to is a bug. It’s probably so players don’t just get to an area enemies can’t get to and unload bullets into them
Dale getting destroyed by the Legate in that first attempt was pretty in-character if you imagine the Legate was Hank "Got dang it, Dale! You don't mess with a man's legion, I tell you h'wat!"
I know you like melee builds so I thought a “could you beat fallout new vegas as a ninja” would be fun. Katana and throwing knives only for weapons and the Chinese stealth suit for the armor
You have found a challenge I had never thought of, but must attempt immediately. I'm gonna go throw explosive sand on EVERYTHING in the Mojave, in your glorious name. Great video, my friend, and happy holidays!
Can you beat fallout NV as the biggest boomer? 1) make a old looking character 2) Only use the big boomer as a weapon 3) kill all old NPCs to become the biggest boomer 4) the boomer (the faction), must die as well
In all the hours and hours I've spent playing New Vegas, and on top of that the ridiculous amount of time I've also spent watching videos of this game, I've never once seen Legate Lanius use any other type of weapon other than his default weapon. This is absurd. Thank you for this.
No idea if it's been requested before, but I'd love to see an over-encumbered run. Like just pick up EVERYTHING at the Doc's house and not put it down for the entirety of the game.
This channel has breathed new life into these games for me. Im a filthy casual who usually end up slipping into the same playstyle every time just to run through. Now Im doing a no-stimpak, unarmed-only, strict RP run which is still pretty vanilla but it's a whole new experience. Thanks for these!
Dude, I found you when you barely had a few thousand subs. After not even 1 full year you shot the hell past that and scored over 100k. You deserve it dude.
Once again I am here to ask to do a fallout 4 run with a junk jet but only shooting skull, and bones if necessary, so that you look like a dark wizard like Shang tsung.
Can you beat Fallout New Vegas with only Pvt Kowalski? You are allowed to heal him if you can find a mod for it, and give him a helmet and a better Service Rifle. Bonus points for using the NCR emergency radio as well
The chase quadrology must be finished with a video of being chased by all 3 people. Victor too if that's possible. Also NCR death squad guys? Dunno if that's at the shoot-at-sight point yet.
I’ve also played new Vegas an unhealthy amount of times as well and I had no idea you could do those quests for the great khans? I had no idea whatsoever about the quests with them, or the new Chems you can learn/teach them how to make (slasher, party-time mentats, or rocket???!), and I obviously had absolutely no idea that throwing sand was ever even a thing either? That’s so crazy, like almost 20 years since the game came out and I’m still learning some pretty significant things about New Vegas, and also fallout 3 & 4 too. It’s just crazy to think about considering all the insane amount of time I’ve put into all of the games and the absurd amount of play throughs I’ve done for each one, not to mention the equally significant amount of time I’ve spent watching videos about all of those games as well, which is no doubt also an unhealthy amount of time, as well. Nerbit, I cannot thank you enough you wise, beautiful and amazing man, thank you so much 😭😩😂
Nerbit I enjoy waking up on a Saturday morning and watching your videos. I love that you're a people pleaser and you are my favourite youtuber. All I can say is keep up the awesome videos! Have a great holiday season :)
Well there goes my suggestion of "Can you beat New Vegas as Roadhouse Patrick Swayze" where you only use third person Ranger Take Down(Leg Sweep/Roundhouse kicks) since that's basically the same thing but with more viable options.
"Can you beat Fo:NV with only one mag?" Explanation : Something that I have been trying to do for a few months now and is a variation of the "use a weapon only once" challenge. You can use any gun in the game (no melee or unarmed). For each gun you get exactly one full magazine worth of shots. It does not matter how many people you kill with that magazine. You can use any ammo type you want but swapping ammo does not reset your shot allocation. Bonus points if you don't use bonus ammo and literally just use one mag. Note : There is a difference between a "reload" and "cocking the hammer". Examples : .357 Revolver : 6 shots Anti-Material Rifle : 8 Shots Cowboy repeater : 7 Shots Laser Rifle : 24 Shots Single Shotgun : 1 Shot (the gun only holds 1 round) Throwables and Mines : 1 "Shot"
The "explosive sand" with the Two Step Goodbye reminded me of a skill in Dragon's Dogma where a Strider throws a gunpowder cloud and lights it up. Pretty cool.
