RULES:
1. Only Vivi may fight enemies, and he may not do so until all other characters are dead.
2. Until everyone except Vivi is dead, the only action all characters can take is to knock themselves out. Vivi may attack other characters.
3. Chocobo hot and cold may be used, but only to obtain items that can already be obtained using available means (no early robe of lords)
4. No hacks or glitches.
5. If Vivi dies, the game must be reset.

Remember that you can also game Vivi's STR stat which is oddly higher than normal for a mage, and in Act 1 his weapon power's almost equal to his physical counterparts.

I recall testing the Focus ability once against Ralvuimago, and I manage to do 9999 damage with just a basic Fire spell. Focus can be really overpowered.

What's the reason for not getting the oak staff from the chocographs before going into burmecia for early bio? I assume just because it's faster to progress on overall, but you could have made it so you had an overall easier mid game given faster battles earlier and potential for much earlier levelling opportunity with a grand dragon or two.

I tried really hard to play ff9 on my ps2 back in the day. The issue was the 35 second loading screens before each fight. I made it like 3 hours into the game and gave up. That was so frustrating

I've got an even worse FF9 backstory (well, subjectively. I used to have the patience to sit through absurd load times). I borrowed FF9 from my boyfriend's friend and he took really shitty care of all his game disks so it froze up on the cutscene where the party escapes from Dali on the airship. I watched Zidane touch Garnet's butt so many times hoping against hope that _this time_ would get past the freeze...

I'll be honest, the first thought that popped in to my head when you said Nobody was the first name and to guess the naming scheme was "oh Kingdom Hearts!" but then I immediately convinced myself that I was just reading in to it and that it was definitely not Kingdom Hearts.
