Fun fact about the Jump spell thing: If your health and/or Acrobatics is high enough to survive the fall damage from a 100 point Jump spell, then just taking the fall damage helps raise your Acrobatics even further, because apparently breaking your legs helps you jump better.

A fun spell for dealing with Cliff Racers, its called Saint Jiub's Prayer. 1pt of Levitate on target for 1 second in 10ft. When you hit a Cliff Racer with it they drop from the sky and get killed by the fall damage. Its fun to use powerful levitate magic to fly around and aggro a bunch of them, drag em up high, and hit em with it.

You're on a right track with "Weakness to element" in your damaging spells, but if you also add "Weakness to Magicka" as the first effect (by itself it would do nothing, but it magnifies the elemental weakness effect), it will increase the overall damage by about 50% if not more, because now your magnified elemental weakness will boost the damage effect by a magnitude. Very useful to have for pocket nukes.

Sunder is more guarded because its the tool that draws the power from the heart. Keening flays and directs the the power from the heart after Sunder struck it. So Keening seems to be useless without the Sunder and by itself does nothing to the heart. But when Sunder draws the power and Keening hits the heart multiple times instead of once, the energy drawn becomes unstable enough to break original binding enchantments from the tools.

There is an over powered poison damage based item given during Telvanni questline, called "Ring of Toxic Cloud". It deals 2-60 pts poison damage in 20ft for 10 secs, that would made this run much easier. Anyway, love your work

Nerevar, I understand that now you are an Argonian that poison is a more viable path of study for you, but does it truly honor the Sixth House and the Tribe Unmourned for you to neglect all other marshal skills in favor of the art of poison craft? Do you really think we can drive the Mongrel Dogs of the Empire from Morrowind with nothing but frost spider venom and whatever you have brewing in that cauldron? That is another thing Nerevar, you've essentially turned Dagoth Ur, the building, into what looks like the largest skooma cooking lab in the realms with this poison obsession of yours. I'm drawing the line here Nerevar, you can kept up your little poison experiments if you like but you must move all your equipment to another building, I'm sure there's some abandoned Dunmer stronghold you can teleport it all to. What do you mean this is anti-Argonian discrimination?

Speaking as a dedicated Morrowind Jumpmancer, you did well with your jump combo spells. However, for landing, I suggest effects that boost your acrobatics to 125 or higher. Temporary boosts make for a safe landing and can combo to boost a follow-up jump, but permanently getting 125 makes it so you never have to worry about fall damage again.

But to answer your question in regards to Sunder and Keening, basically Dagoth Ur keeps em split apart so that they can be studied, but also to keep someone from just sneaking in instantly, grabbing both while having Wraithguard, and using them on the Heart before anyone knows what's going on.

I've been breaking Morrowind alchemy again recently, and just going everywhere with 50 points of levitation, becoming invincible in combat with restore health and fatigue, and casting overpowered spells with fortify intelligence and magicka. What a lovely way you gave to spice up my next playthrough

If you don't know since you're using openMW when making multiple potions you can type the number in the bottom left and it will make them all at once, you don't need to worry about making a 100 weak potions the game will individually calculate each potion that's made as you level up, it does all of this instantly.

32:55 so according to my experience across the games; Magic is something anyone can learn and use, but some people have a natural affinity for learning and using it. the reason not everyone learns it is because it takes months or years of practice for a few spells, and mages are already so accessible. its like the reason we arent all chemists irl- why would we be when theres already chemists laying around?

Ever since RU-vid recommended your Morrowind content, I've been watching religiously. Some of my favorite videos to watch before sleeping.

One trick I like to use in mage playthroughs is making an enchanted item that's got a damage spell (your choice of flavor) for 1 second on target in whatever range for whatever magnitude (say, 20 points in 5-10 feet). Make sure the cast cost is low compared to the power of the soul you put in. Then you take advantage of the fact that using an enchanted item doesn't need an animation to spam the spell as fast as you can click. Using this trick your potential DPS is in the hundreds (the thousands, in theory, if you stack multiple damage and/or weakness spell effects on the same item, though you'd probably want to use Vivec or Almalexia's soul via Azura's Star to power this since the cost of stacking effects at super high magnitudes can ramp up really fast), you don't need to worry about cast chance, and your magicka amount isn't a concern at all since you recharge the item with soul gems. Requires lots of soul gems to use as a main source of damage output, of course, so for weaker enemies I tend to prefer regular spells, but when you need to dump a thousand damage on somebody in a handful of seconds an item like this is invaluable.

Im here because I cannot dedicate enough time to playing it again and also I know so many game breaking secrets that it will never be the same experience for me. However, it is the nostalgia I feel and how wandering Vvardenfel used to be my daily escape. I spent countless hours wandering and just finding out secrets. At the time, I had no internet access at all, so imagine that - completely clueless, just learning as you go along, an endless treasury of secrets. It was years before I found out about certain things players now find out about on their first playthrough because of youtube.

33:40 For some reason I've understood it the hole/transition space is the portal. You can put a door or gate to block a portal, but it doesn't make the door/gate itself a portal. Generally, the lack of a door or gate makes a portal feel more like a portal to me. Like a simple archway.

12:54 If you make an constant effect enchanted item with slowfall of 0-1 points, and keep equiping it until it gives an slowfall effect of 0, it should still mitigate fall damage (except when it gets buggy and doesn't) and not affect your jump trajectory at all.
