As street-level superheroes, our beloved Spider-Men are forced to rely on avoiding damage, because their frail spines are too weak to get punched or shot more than a few times. But what if I completely remove the two main defensive options from Peter Parker’s and Miles Morales' arsenals? Is it possible to beat Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 without ever dodging or parrying?

Unfortunately sorry to break this to you, but this whole time there’s a glitch where you can get kraven to teleport into walls during the venom boss fight and softlock him in walls, causing the game’s anti-softlock to instantly kill the entire phase, meaning you could have completely skipped that entire boss fight.

Btw for symbiote reproduction is simple, they have seeds that allow them to make new individual symbiote like how venom made carnage, but they can also split to make copies of themselves which are not unique

I love this challenge run of yours! You’re a more dedicated gamer than I am XDDD To explain why the symbiote gets stronger after going back to Harry, it’s because the symbiote can absorb the DNA of whoever becomes its host, allowing them to gain strengths and resistances they didn’t have before. It’s partly why Venom’s design, as well as the designs for the other symbiote enemies throughout the game, have a vaguely similar look to Spider-Man. This particular game series sorta relies on you to have some comic book knowledge as it makes its own changes, so I understand why you felt frustrated at Venom’s seemingly random power boost

something about the jokes you make in your videos always tickle my funny bone like, they never make me audibly laugh, but theyre always so much funnier than jokes that actually do the "does whatever a spider can" joke just works so well also I want to ask, is the alliteration in some of your sentences intended or is it just nice script writing

The Venom tutorial parry only allows you to do rage instead of parrying after you reach the next room where it gives you a prompt for that move. If you exit and restart the mission you start with both. Unless you did your trick on your first run maybe with slam then I wouldn’t count it.

how symbiotes reproduce: They have seeds set in their biomass which can sprout and or they can split their mass and create a new symbiote before quickly regenerating their biomass.

So I'm about 16:22 into the video and I have a solution for the first parry and dodge that froze the game, if you navigate the options menu there's a option to disable tutorials and button prompts which means you don't have to lose to the game^^

The parey mechanic is cool but outside the bosses I NEVER had to use it. Got so used to dodging that i just did that and worked just as good as it did in the other 2 games
