Can You Beat The RobTop Levels in PLATFORMER MODE?

So, in the level "Dash" there is an F-block in the first part. The thing is that it's locked to follow the player. And that means, unless you're quick, the F-block has been long gone because the triggers follow the music instead of the player.

As someone who is waiting for 2.21 because of the bugs, I take this as a win.

That rotating dash orb at 15:08 is actually a really cool idea

By the way, you can check portals with the checkbox in the Edit Group menu that shall not be named

is the tower possible in platformer mode???

It doesn't really make sense why the swing is not avaiable in platformer mode. It works somewhat like the jetpack.

Idk I think all of them are possible I haven’t watched the whole video yet but I’m still pretty sure Me when I remember swing and wave arent in platformer: "I have made a severe lapse in my judgement..."

Btw, there's an option to enable all modes in platformer and force normal levels to platformer in megahack v8 alpha

Also note that in platformer mode you can hit your head on the tops of blocks whereas in the scroller mode you can't. This also makes triple spikes impossible if they are under a ceiling, so I don't really know if there are any of those in levels before blast processing but those and slopes may make previous levels impossible as well.

I'd love to see a video where you try removing every gamemode portal making every level possible with the cube only

You can go in practice mode in platformer if you have a controller Connected just press menu and then x

i watched this whole video in 39 seconds and i can confirm he definitely did platform

you check portals using the EDP button in edit group, hope that helped :)

physics are different, max jump distance is a tiny bit less, everything acts like h blocks which you can hit even if you wouldnt normally die

The Wave in Blast Processing: I skip you *platformer mode* cube and ball: 🔄 (uno reverse) (For those who don’t get it: you can beat blast processing without using the ship or ufo since you can skip every portal after the 2nd wave, and the ship portal after the 1st wave, but the 1st ball and the cube at the start isn’t skippable)

The funniest thing is you could beat dash by doing nothing due to how it stupidly works

now, what about the tower's levels in regular mode

there's no wave because of bugs, u can see the weirdness on the GDPS, but i'm not sure y the swing copter isn't on 2.2

I’m really excited to see what robtop does with the future main levels for future updates since 2.2 now’s out. The effects and swingcopter and triggers will go so good

the gamemodes work with the force platformer hack but they are kind hard (also i think the level has to start with the wave or swingcopter for them to work in force paltformer)

You could have escaped the hell of the camera triggers by just putting all of them in one place, selecting each, and pressing delete all in the delete tab.

btw There is a way for blast processing To be possible there is somehow a glitch to become wave idk how but there is a way so Use it :)

Now you have make the tower levels in Classic Mode

Just select the slope outlines thing go to edit object then go to extra and click gripslope it just disables sliding on slopes only for platformer

it would be cool if for the wave, instead of just adapting it to work for the previous gamemode, it would be cool if you put a gravity orb that followed the players x and y that they could trigger, and then it stopped following them at the end of the wave section

With megahack you can actually force the gamemodes. The wave is pretty bugged but still useable nonetheless.

Hexagon force is impossible too because of the different slopes phisics. Btw, i didn't watch the entire video yet so idk if you metioned this later, but there is something called slope boost (the demon plat level "speed tek" teaches it) that would be quite usefull in blast progressing

This is just every robtop lvl without the wave and the new swingcopter mode, and editing it, so the lvl is possible to beat it

There's a thing called slopeboosting where you press the direction of the slope then jump and turn around

You Can select in edit group (grip slopes)

Use a multiactivate blue orb follow trigger for wave and multiactivate green orb follow trigger for swing.

As someone who doesn't play geometry dash I see this video as an absolute win

There is a gd copy that the wave works in platformer,but there is no swingcopter and spider portal

For the last swingcopter in dash you had a golden opportunity to use the classic swingcopter people used to use and I’m so sad you didn’t use it

wave would be so good for platformer, you might be able to use it to make like a cursor or something for menus

The wave is grayed out because I'm pretty sure it would just be the same as the ship, but I don't know why they did the swing copter maybe It was harder to get the physics so they'll be added in a later update

Wave platformer is on mobile GD, it's basically just frame stepper except you can also go backwards

For the swing part after ball you could have put a green orb on the ball and swincoper happens

u can't really do it by just making it platform, u have to sort out the dash orbs and idk why but the wave and swingcopter portal dont work in platform mode so u might have to make a homemade wave mode

When you became the ball into the swing in Dash, you could’ve put an advanced follow with a green orb to make the same swing effect.

I would recommend you to do it with all levels, as I noticed some different pyshics with platformer as when I did platformer Dear [Idk how to spell it] - that 1.9 styled easy demon, the ball part with the pink pads failed

i don't really know why but i'm pretty sure the wave AND swing could definitely be possible in platformer

If 2.2 took this long then who knows how long it will take for 2.21 to release

why is wave gamemode unavailable in platformer? i saw it working just fine on one of rob's stream where in order for you to go up/down, you need to also move left/right...

there is hexagon force becuase of slopes, but should be normal and do-able

Maybe for the wave and the swing copter do the ship is easier

the controls for the wave when you bypass the game disallowing u from using it in platformer arent that bad tbh, hold W and a/d to go up and just press a /d to go down

There’s a hack to get wave and swing on platform mode it’s easy but you can only do it in the editor mode

mega hack v8 has an option where you can force urself into platformer mode for any level
