So I'm at the Capstone portion of the Google Data Analytics Certification, would it be more beneficial for me to move onto the Advanced Google Data Analytics Certification right after to become more marketable or would it be better to job hunt using the resources at the end of Course 8 and take the Advanced certification while job hunting? While your videos are well made the advice is very confusing. In one video you say that Data Analytics is the way to go , however in another video you say that you should avoid Data Analytics and become a Data Scientist instead. Which is it?

data analyst -> data scientist. Very difficult to get hired as a new DS even for graduates right now. The industry is in a transition phase, kind of redefining itself in a lot of ways. The days of self-study and bootcamps are gone. Just take a brief look at the data science subreddit. People with a load of experience are having trouble getting hired. Entry level jobs just aren't there, and really, never should have been.
