If you work inside finished homes pick up a saw hood from Fastcap. It will stop the sawdust from wandering. Good video

This was my house but Since I switched to the Festool Kapex, I don’t get that flying dust anymore. My clients actually comment on how clean their house is while I’m cutting. There is a major difference. Most of the time, I set up in a garage or backyard if possible. But when I can’t, the Festool system has too notch dust collection. You can see it in my videos from now to back about 2 years ago.

Copacabana! Nicely done! I believe Ansel Adams would have loved Photoshop ... so too the finish carpenter/woodworker loving this very cool coping machine! Of course you also need a master Scolaro to operate same!

Very nicely done sir!!! Curious as to what brand of air hose do you use?? How big of a compressor should I look for nailers and a impact wrench and maybe a sander ?? Thanks again for sharing your thoughts and videos Rodney
@AnthonyScolaro1

6 gallon air compressor. You can get a package deal with a compressor and all 3 nailers if you choose. You mostly just need an 18 gauge brad nailer and a 23 gauge pin nailer

What extension wings are you using? I'm in the market to purchase some!

They are from a company called FastCap, I would have had a link, but Amazon doesn’t sell them anymore for some reason

What bevel is the miter saw set at?
@AnthonyScolaro1
@AnthonyScolaro1 3 года назад
I’m cutting in what’s called the nested position, this doesn’t require a bevel, just the 45 degrees of the miter cut. Setting the bevel is only necessary when you cut crown on the flat

@@AnthonyScolaro1 so if you cut the crown in the jig box, do you have to set the bevel on the miter saw? I messed up on the coping.
@AnthonyScolaro1
@AnthonyScolaro1 3 года назад
@@mynameisnotimportant2854 first cut the crown in the nested position on the miter saw at 45 degrees, for an inside miter cut, no bevel angle needed. Make sure you have the crown sitting upside down on the miter saw. Then when you cope it with the jigsaw, turn the crown right side up and slightly tilt the jigsaw about 12 degrees and back cut the crown molding making sure you follow the profile of the molding.

@@AnthonyScolaro1 oh ok that’s where I messed up. I thought you needed the jig box
