*Have you taken your bike overseas before? How'd it go?* This clip is from my travel film "My Journey into a Restricted Region." Watch it now at ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-cQB0_ZuD0M0.html. The journey continues all the way to the China border, through Skardu, and back to India too!
Hey Karl, thank you for posting your 2hrs long vlog, I really enjoyed your vlog and i was like having a feeling that I am the one travelling!!! Thanks to your mother for raising you like this
Only foreigner RU-vidr who wants to make travel more easy and border free for Pakistan and Indians . I wish your wife can join you too . Please raise more and more steps regarding two nation visa policy so people of both nation can freely visit each other like in European Union . Lots of love and care ❤
Golden Temple is the most beautiful architecture ever, anywhere in the world, so much more awe inspiring snd jaw dropping than the Taj Mahal. And they serve so many people by havibg the worlds largest free kitchen serving 100,000 people per day, rising up to 200,000 on festival days, all from donations from visitors and contributions from Sikhs. An amazing community.
Can you do a technical 'behind the scenes' video? I'd love to see your camera(s) set-up, editing process and what hardware & software you use to video edit.
Oh man! I was thinking about visiting Pakistan or at least Lahore from Amritsar on my bike some day and was curious to know if I could do that! This video of yours has answered my question and I am disappointed. Would like to say hi to you when you return to Amritsar. Have a good time!
In 79 when we spent the summer driving around in (at the time) western Europe I got a Camping Carne at the AAA office in Los Angeles. We could turn that in at hotels or camp grounds in lieu of them holding one of our passports for the night. It was totally free.
Both sides should at least give visas to 75+ yr old people, so those born across borders can travel and see their birthplace one last time. Can't believe people here hold grudges like desi aunties from kitty parties. 😞
My grandfather left his home in Old Delhi during the 1947 chaos, my family also owned some orchards and an Imambara in Bulandshahr, but all has been lost post-partition. Now none of the older generation is left, I wish I could visit once before I too am gone and these memories die with me.
@jusalii Indians and Pakistanis travel across the border all the time and are treated exceptionally well, almost like celebrities. But these are only the ones with relative visas or with another passport. I am Indian and had a great time visiting Pakistan. News is that even the PM went there to eat biryani.
Welcome back, I hope you make a proper trip to Karachi this time, Your last visit, it seems you only dropped by for a few hours to show how a domestic flight was, would love to see if you drop by Karachi, i hope you give the city another chance.
I always want to see Indian border side and today dreams come true . Welcome to Pakistan . Just a little advise it’s too much scam and everyone try to tell you more prices in bikes so be careful . Don’t let them take your advantage of being a foreigner . Lots of love and care . Stay safe
Well, you don't know for sure if you don't try it out by yourself. Now many more people know that you can't cross the border into Pakistan with an Indian registered vehicle
There are many bikers who are regularly crossing over to Pakistan from India and travellingvfurther to Europe and they all carry Carnet, that's mandatory. Wonder why you couldn't get the same?
These videos truly bring both sides closer together, fostering a sense of brotherhood and friendship by capturing the genuine feelings of people on both sides. Keep up the great work, Karl, my friend. Never stop.
Your welcomed in Pakistan whole heartedly and I hope you will be showing in your Vlogs what it actually on grounds here in Pakistan instead of showing the negative Indian Propaganda against Pakistan.. Have a safe trip 💗
Does anybody know if it is possible to enter Pakistan from India using the new E-visa (starting 14-8-24) via the Wagah-Attari land border crossing? And assuming the traveler holds a multi entry Indian e-visa already stamped in the passport on arrival in India by airport is it possible to return to India using this land border crossing?
Welcome in Pakistan, Pakistan is beautiful so the Pakistani people are ,it's request that don't make negative image of Pakistan through your vlogs ...in our religion Islam guests are special and you are our guest every Pakistani will serve you best .. inshaAllah take care
Just like India, Pakistan mandates a Carnet. You can’t get a TIP in lieu of a Carnet to enter Pakistan. If they won’t issue you a Carnet in India, you are pretty much screwed. Taking Indian registered vehicles into Pakistan is not possible. If you had done a little research or watched other motorcyclists like Itchy Boots, you would know this. She took the Myanmar, Thailand and Malaysia route and then shipped her bike to Oman to continue to Netherlands because her Himalayan was an Indian registered bike. This seems like an unnecessary circus for the obvious.
The Taj mahal is an amazing building but it was built for very selfish reasons and 1000s of people died building it. The Golden Temple was built for totally altruistic reasons and is there for everyone. One of my favourite buildings. A Carnet De Passage is basically a passport for a vehicle Seeing the massive Pakistani flag, as I approached the border, was very exciting
@MadDogAdventures I have taken a guided tour. Those guys aren't historians. They're entertainers who push one agenda or the other based on the customer. Feel free to share any authentic historical source that says thousands died or were killed or maimed during construction.
