(Aavak needs to save up 7.8M shards. At the beginning of this sentence he has 6.3M shards) "I'm going to let a little time pass, make myself a cuppa to allow enough shards to accrue for us to get sticky floral residue" (by the end of that sentence he has 7.4M shards) O_O

I would like to point out from personal experience- The infinite reverberation perk is an INCREDIBLY effective collection method, during my run it was very consistently above even zygnorps. Its also very fun to watch the confetti of shards fly 10/10 definitely recommend

Yeah, percent damage to moved shards, twice, is absurdly strong. Pairing it with Supershatter/Frostfire/Popcorn also works pretty well because, even though the Supershatter perk means ice doesn't deal bonus damage, it concentrates the pile into a tiny zone right at the front like nothing else can. EDIT: Even to the point of just... dropping the "rockets every 20 seconds" perk as superflous.

mountaineers when the pile is so tall so close to the collection area will mean that they throw right into the collection area. So its not good to skip them.

Starting to see why this game has a screensaver mode. It really is just the prettiest, most mesmerizing visuals you've ever seen. Damned the particles, throw them all in. And toss in a tree maker and some leaf simulation, while you at it. xP ... I... I guess the answer is 'no'. Never enough rockets. Here, have some. In you pockets. -I... I dunno, blame the game. :B-

You really need infinite reverberation at this point in the game. It's what lets hulks push stuff directly to the stash, and with the garden upgrade, their pushing power scales with your damage output. The run I just finished, out of 1.2G collection, hulks accounted for 800+M of that! It also means you can stop at about 20 runners (just need enough to feed your rockets), and use all those gnorps for other things. Modern warfare is fun when grenades trigger weakness... you need the bombers to keep them all triggered. :)

Picked up this game after the last episode. Beat the main game around this level of prestige. Very enjoyable game! I tried some things in the lower prestiges, like no-runner runs; using mountaineers only as collectors, and of course that means pocket rockets. It ended up not being as effective as timey-wimey geeting runners, so your build is aaaalmost what I went for to win. Two key talents that defined my run are: the one that gives you a bonus but makes the pile 2x as tall before compression has been excluded. I also took the talent that makes reclamation closer to the rock, thus concentrating my pile close to the end, near the runners, which helped a lot with efficiency. There’s a lot of thing I haven’t even tried yet, like zyb arrows, but I really enjoyed my play through. Cute game!

I went with accord power: thus making rockets affected by the multiplier. It was as crazy as it sounds I don’t think there are any wrong choices.

It seems that GEET protocol makes runners throw shards into the rockets *instead* of into the stash, which means that the higher the GEET chance, the fewer shards your runners actually collect. Instead, adding more GEET chance means more rockets at the expense of collection, so it's good if you're trying to get compression events, but less good if you're trying to get prestige points. (Unless shards GEETed into the stash still count towards collection, in which case GEET has no downside. I don't know how to test that theory).

As Aavak pointed out last episode, there’s a limit to how many rockets can be fired every 20 seconds. Once the button gnorp is “the embodiment of leg day”, the runners will only GEET as many shards as can make rockets over there; all of the rest go into the stash. You can see it happen towards the end of this episode, where a huge wave goes to the rockets for like 4 seconds, and then everything goes into the stash for the next 10 or so.

... I ... Hello. My name is Tim. I've been here before but not for a little while. I don't know what this game is, and I feel like I've gone insane. Granted, I am awake after about 4 hours of sleep to clear the snow from my driveway so that I can go to work during my scheduled "every other weekend to work", so I guess that is appropriate. 🦆💨

Given ur biggest upgrades in a run are gatekept by zybellium is the extra 3 zyb per compression not just the strongest option?

It's only when you hit the next compression in a certain time, and it's not 3 per compression, but a total of max 3 more I think

​@@bl4cksp1d3r a yeah, even so this late in seems like blitzing through the first three wld be easy enough and 3 extra is still extremely strong, the zyb unlocks seem to be almost on par with the prestige point options

doesn't the breaktime bonus only work for the very next compression phase you want to save it for when you are about to hit the second to last compression phase you plan to go to?

the double to capacity after the first break ends is permanent. you just can't get more doubles with each compression after the first break.

I haven't played this, so maybe I am wrong, but what is the point of having super levels of collection when you haven't maxed compression? It seems like you wouldn't want to have balanced damage/collection until you have maxed compression and have all your upgrade stars.

Sure, but improving collection means you're getting shards faster and therefore can increase production so you can get the compression events

If you don't have enough collection you won't get enough shards to upgrade your damage (or to create damage via GEETing into the Rocket building) which means you won't have enough damage to outpace the rock reclaiming shards which means you'd stop reaching compression events.
