Damn you had to remove the crash bar but you got it in eventually. Good job you two. To me this video was very helpful because you were filming every part which just made me learn some new practical skills on how to remove Tyres and wheels and add them back on so I’m very happy. Thank you very much and please do make more content like this because you’re educating a lot of us on some very important things. 👍🏻
Congrats on the new wheels, they look really good! Looking forward for future mods :) Autovlog should learn from your wife and picking better wheels for his F150 hehe...
That actually looks good especially with how "off-road" the wheels look. Tire wise I actually like the Nitto ridge grapplers (not saying the Kenda klever R/T tires you got are bad) because they look so good. I think autovlog made me like those tires since he has those tire on the raptor and F150.
The wheels and tires on the bronco look amazing . Great pick they look so much better I love fuel wheels they really make any vehicles look way better.
Great video. Thanks for providing all the specs along with details that any bronco owner is looking for. Looking to lift my stock outer banks with a 2" kit and put 35" on it. Curious if it'd miss the upper control arm without an offset.
Those wheels and tires look awesome! It’s cool how your wife is so into the car craze with you now. She really worked her butt off too. Does taking those bars off the front to fit the bigger tires make the Bronco any less safe in the event of a crash?
Looks good. A little tight in the wheel wells - what about when it flexes? Just curious - how much doing this package yourself saved over the Sasquatch package? -Chad
We are waiting for our Oxford white BB . Been surfing around looking at ideas for tires and wheels . This setup looks great . Can you link where you bought the wheels and tires . Thanks
Thanks Al! We got the wheels through Auto Illusions but they are available through many online retailers. I got my last set through www.realtruck.com As far as the tires go, I got them through a local retailer but I seem to find them cheaper from independent shops on Facebook marketplace. They have them at www.simpletire.com as well.
the wife is now a car person. the bronco does look sweet have to see how they hold up but looks like a decent build I cant say much on the engine since I dont know much about it. Cheers!
Nice stance! Beefier tires make a big difference. In California, tires can not extend outside of the fenders (to deter rock slinging on the public roadways). This job would have required extending the fenders with a plastic or rubber extension on each fender. Ford may sell these specifically for this Bronco, but I'm not sure on that...
Loved how bronco turned out! We just got ours and are thinking of putting 35s on also. Have you had any rubbing after driving it for 5 months? Hitting different bumps, or turns?
Looks great! Do the wheels still clear when you are both in the vehicle and you are pulling into or backing out of the driveway or parking spaces? Sometimes the suspension compresses more under those conditions and you get rubbing or scrubbing on the plastic bumper even though everything looks perfect when the vehicle is just sitting there.
Wow those fit without a lift! I love this. My bug bend bronco is coming in 3 months. Same dimensions as yours. I’d also like to throw on these tires. I plan to go with a zero offset…which would make them poke out just a tad more. 1/2 inch or so more poke. Since the stock wheels for your bronco were 55m offset and the new fuel wheels were 20mm offset, wouldn’t it make sense that a 0 offset would push the tire toward the street, and still not cause any rubbing? I would think as long as your 20mm to zero offset you wouldn’t have rubbing issues? On the flip side going to ward positive offset closer to 55mm with new wheels may cause contact on inside. Is that true? I’d like 0 offset. Just a tad bit more poke. I will remove crash bars regardless.
Thanks Johnny, it came out better than expected! Not sure if zero offset would be too much with out at least a leveling kit. It may rub the edge of the front bumper. Do you have a build date for your Bronco? We waited a long time for ours.
@@PIPSBURGHVIEWS I ordered the modular bumper so I can take off end caps if rubbing occurs with 0 offset. I’ve seen other videos where there is no lift and the zero offset was fine with 35s. Especially if the heavy duty modular bumper is present. Even the regular bumper it made it. No build date yet. Been 3 months waiting. Hopefully another 3 and that is the estimate we got. 6 months. I only ordered the modular bumper. Soft top. To make sure no issues or hold ups. Just a waiting game. Congrats on the bronco! Hottest vehicle in the nation!
that setup looks great do you know what the offset of the wheel was? i see they are offered in 2 different offsets +1 and -12 trying to find a wheel setup for mine and think yours sit perfect
Thanks! It’s hard to say how much worse it is now because we did the wheels pretty early on. I did a similar set up on my ‘21 Tundra and I lost about 2 mpg and it was noticeable louder. I believe it is still quieter than a Wrangler.
@@PIPSBURGHVIEWS Thanks for the info. Wait time - zero! Just happened to be in the right spot at the right time. Long story short - my “ordered one” is about a year out the dealership said. As all of us - I got antsy and stumbled upon one someone backed out on - and only paid a $3k premium. So we grabbed it until my ordered on comes in (Outerbank w Squash package) Basically this one is a fill-in until mine is made. Super fortunate and lucky. So I really didn’t want to invest in suspension because don’t think we will have it long. Will share a picture with you when it is finished. Thanks again for all of the details - we benefitted greatly.
Hey PiPs, new wheels and tires are a winning combination. Hopefully this Bronco won't just be a "Highway Queen" and some off-road content is pending. BTW - A recommendation to purchase a "WHEEL LOCK" kit to secure your investment. A Word To The Wise Is Sufficient Yo ! 💰 🤔
This is Korea, but in Korea, only the Outer Banks without the sasquatch package is imported. To install 35-inch tires on the outer Banks version, I just need the offset changed wheel, 35-inch tires, and two bars inside the wheelhouse, right? Is there no problem if I just do this? Please reply me.
Hi Brian, Question about wheels and tires for stock OBX. Looking at Rhino Barstow 18 x9.5 with ko2 tires. Will this fit without removing the crash bars?
Just picked up a base full size after having the Sport outer banks for a year. I'm currently shopping for 35's. I'm a big fan of BF goodrich K02's but your choice of tire is making me lean toward the Kenda's! So...just to confirm. I can do 35"s with no rubbing or lift needed as long as I have a 20 offset? I thought it was a 0 offset needed to get an aggressive poke? There are so many conflicting videos in regards to the offset for the Full size Bronco's. HELP!
Yes, zero rubbing with a plus 20. I cannot confirm that on a zero offset. The Kendas are great. I had a 33/12.50/20 on my Tundra for 10,000 miles and they were still like new. The KO2s are more expensive and seem to wear unevenly.
@@PIPSBURGHVIEWS thanks for the thorough vids. They're exciting to watch. Ordered my Kenda Klever 35's & some 17" -12 offsets. Can't wait to get them put on! Cheers!
