@@diegogalan2726 I tried this with a glove that was pretty far gone and it definitely helped! It was pretty pancaked and now it has some form. The leather is still really soft but after reforming it and working the 2nd hinge, it’s pretty well improved.
I just dipped my a2000 d33 that I wasn’t a fan of the hinge break in I did at first. Watched that first short and the Japanese glove one and decided why not. Should be dry by Saturday so we will see how much better of a job I did. Thanks for the push and keep it up.
Update. So it was dry today and I worked it and conditioned it and it’s much more broken in than before. The hinge isn’t like in the vids but I think that’s a combination of my hand isn’t big enough and the d33 just doesn’t close like I’m expecting it to as I usually wear outfield gloves. The hinge is right after the n on the palm but when I close I also notice a bend right on the s as well. Overall though I give the man his props cuz this worked out well.
Hey brother, just a quick question! If I have applied to much conditioner to my glove over the year and my glove has become super heavy, are there any steps to making my glove lighter? Hope you can answer this for me, if not no worries! Have a good one man.
That glove looks broken in similarly to my hinges. I put my full hand in with two fingers in the pinky hole, sliding the rest of my fingers down 1 hole. I always break in my gloves with a ball in. I dont like lending my glove to others to use as it comes back to me warped. My hand seems to be a bit different than most. I'm not sure there is one correct way for the creases. It really depends on player preference and performance. I have a 15" Wilson A1695.
i have my late grandfathers old baseball glove that’s still in good condition considering how old it is. Could you possibly restore it? i would love to be able to play with it in a game
I have an outfielders golve that hase the same form as that golve but worse so ill try this. Ive tryed fixing it before but never could get it to work.
Even with the room temperature water for the break ins will it ruin the color. Ik you said hot water treatment will ruin the color but I have a aria glove coming in soon so I dont want it ruin the color in the temperature water break in
