I've been looking around since making this video, comparing different bikes of this genre, and I gotta say the DR200 seems like the pick of the bunch, I want one, they're great
I love my dr200! Back in the day I had a friend rag on my xr100 as I’d slide circles around him, ragged on it so much I told it shut up and ride it. Next day he bought one. Ignorance isn’t bliss. Frickin egos man. People can’t get past it.
I have the same bike and I love I, it’s only in really extreme situations that I wish I had a bit more suspension travel, otherwise she’s stood by me. I love how lightweight it is for a dual sports 4sfrokes, I ride in the lovely trails of Mexico with my peers in bikes like Honda xr250 bmw 800, xtz 250, bmw 310, even the dr 650 which is an actual beast, of course when we’re on the pavement I’m last of the pack, but as soon as we hit the trails which is what I love, it’s almost impossible for them to keep up…. It’s great to have it cleaned and then be able to ride to work on it the next day.
Hey crew glad yis are enjoying this type of hard enduro adventure content, I'm looking forward to creating more... be sure to check out our other videos for more like this ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-HI57M1E-GNo.html
You make the Dr in Dr mean 🤘🏼DUDE RIDES🤘🏼!... pretty epic video man , to get on a unknown bike and just make it happen you are definitely my brother from another "DR" Mother Down Under 🖤🕉🤘🏼😎🤘🏼🕉🖤
The dr200 has become a kinda strange bike over the years. Originally it was fast for the 200cc displacement. However at some point they changed over to a oversized vacuum operated carburator and restrictor in the exhaust. People nowadays probably assume its just a slow bike. However put in a cheap PWK 24-28mm carb and a slip on and remove the cover of the airbox or put on a unifilter for better flow. Once you got that carb tuned in correctly it will perform great for a 200cc single 4 stroke.
Go the baby pig! That was cool as. When that switch jammed,I was spewin for ya. I'm currently tracking a no spark issue on my pig. And just did the mod to the switch from your vid! Whilst trouble shooting.
@@SKIDSnSTUFF. Pulse coil to thingo checks out with the multi meter. Cheers....Pulled most of connections apart, plus ignition switch. Half a can of contact cleaner... Prolly missing something really basic. So keep I walking away to chill and reset my mind.A mate who's cluey, is coming over next week if I don't get any joy.👍
Based. People forget that the more technical the terrain, the smaller of a bike/engine you want. My crf250l was a really good compromise road/trail, even if it ofc was a bit lacking in both I mean, imagine taking those tracks on something like a unicycle that you can just pick up and carry around the obstacles :)
What sprockets did you run for this? Stock carb too? I changed mine out to a OKO 26 flatslide and 14t and actually made the bike quite a fun little bike.
Hello! Tell me, please, what stars are on your motorcycle? How many teeth do they have? Did you make any other adjustments to the carburetor or exhaust system? Thank you!
If you want to ride those type of trails I recommend a 13 or 12 star/tooth front sprocket. For carb you can do PWK24. You can mod the exhaust as well, but for this type of riding you might wanna keep it stock for maximum low end torque.
What other bikes do you have experience with riding hard enduro and how would you rate the dr200 for enduro compared to the others. What improvements would make the dr200 better at enduro you think?
Beta and KTM enduro bikes and yes they are 10000 times better suited to the purpose, lighter, better built, more ground clearance, better suspension etc
That is honestly the worst pack of enduro riders I have ever had the misfortune to see. No wonder you did well you can actually ride off road The rest were so bad it's embarrassing 😳
