I'm an 'immigrant' from Brum and have lived here for 22 years now. Brierley Hill is generally quite good. It has it's moments and the people are generally quite friendly. That first Wetherspoons is ok but you can't get a steak there. No gas. The Hop House used to be The Brewer's Wharf, known as The Brewer's Droop! Now you've left The Waterfront and I await your views of the town centre pubs..........Hmm! Now finally, thinking you would miss it out, you got to my local, number 19. The Rose & Crown. My regular Sunday lunch pub and a couple or three delicious Holdens pints to round off the home cooked meal.
It’s a shame you didn’t get chance to visit The Bell on the Delph Road, it’s a fantastic pub which has recently been fully refurbished and reopened. The next one down from The Tenth Lock which itself is also a brilliant house run by really nice people. Thank you for the video, really enjoyed it!👍👍🍻
Halesowen is good for pubs and micro pubs. If you investigate cradley heath and old hill there are plenty of weird and wonderful haunts. Blackheath also is great shout.
The three crowns in Brierly hill has been closed to have all windows restored to keep original but work is be carried out and we will be opening this pub back up so it's not closed for good The three crowns will reopen And it's not a banks premises it's owned by the same company who owns The Old Liberal quarry bank Thanks for visiting
I do when I remember mate haha! Sometimes I forget, depending on what else I'm trying to film. Have a look at our facebook page as well for loads more details on the pubs visited facebook.com/TheGreatBritishPubCrawl

100 per cent agree, you need to go to Stourbridge, so friendly and there is so much variety in pubs to micro bars to cafés, I do miss it as I've moved away to streetly 😢
@@ScottHansford-g4tTighten up on your English. It's important we treat our language with respect as being a vital element of our culture.......along with our great beer which I acknowledge you are able to appreciate.
Merry hill has killed the high Street.. That pub on the corner up from King's head with the metal window shutters was the new new inns and I think would have been the oldest pub in brierley hill
@@chrisabbey8352 Mezza as the kids call it. We had a similar thing happen in Coventry that killed off the scene in the 00's. They were called "A Labour government" though.
