We headed into Sheffield City Centre for a special St Patrick's Day Crawl! This is always such a great drinking day in any calendar year and we took full advantage of Sheffield's great array of pubs!
I used to go clubbing in Sheffield years ago. Always enjoyed it. Also went to see oasis there and had a good night around the centre before and after the gig.
Yeah definitely. Sheffield is one of the best places in England for a city break. It's got good clubs plus Kelham Island Tavern which is amazing. Oh yeah. The Brown Bear is another one.
@@johnchapmonkey8933 I think it's Sam Smith's. They're a rum lot that Sam Smith's. Their cask ales ain't all that but their bottled beers are good. Their pubs are cheap and only stock their brews. I like their Pure Brewed Lager. It's one of the best lagers going. And I'm comparing with the best from here and Germany and Czechia.
@@heiltd1286 it is Sam's Smith's and yes their lager range and bottles is decent the ales aren't very nice. The thing is sam Smith's don't like people using phones so they wouldn't like them filming in their. Nice couple on the pub crawl met them when they came to Rotherham.
@@johnchapmonkey8933I went to The Brown Bear in 2009. I was going to Glasgow, but stopped off for the night in Sheffield. The pint there was £1.50 for their cask bitter. Sheffield like Glasgow has improved in the 15 years I last visited them. I thought both cities were great then. Even better now.
Sheffield is one of the best places to be in the world if you love beer. There's a pub called The Kelham Island Tavern that is regarded as one of England's best pubs..
You sure. It’s ok if you’re a malt freak but I’ve actually been asked to leave with others just for having a laugh and being a bit loud. Nothing malicious, just having a laugh.
@@thegreatbritishpubcrawl as in the editing of the video skips from place to place and also when it does skip you seem to cut off something you are saying mid sentence and you then come back in a different location 🤷🏻♂️
People need to visit grapes yes Rutland yes. But Goto the crow inn , Wellington , heist brew , fat cat , Kelham Island tavern , Shakespeares too !! These r near or in Shalesmoor / Kelham Island area and on the very edge of city centre. Honorable mention to River side , harlequin , industry tap , triple point ...
