no, no vpn is going to "protect your data". That's a MASSIVE scam that all of them pull, and would never be allowed under advertising standards for actual countries (which is why their TV and newspaper ads don't make these claims).

These overexplained videos are truly a Godsend. They're so beginner friendly but are still so jam-packed with knowledge that even an experienced sewist could learn knew things from them. Plus the graphics are really the cherry on top they're so well made. Do you think maybe a quick five minute video with common sewing and garment definitions would ever be something you would make? I've tried a few times to find a sort of "sewing dictionary" before but I must really suck at Googling stuff because I can't find anything and not being able to use the words I need to describe a problem or look up tutorials really sucks :(

@@SarahSpaceman If you ever have time and motivation for something like that, I'm sure many people would appreciate it! I've been interested in learning to sew for a long time and recently I've been enjoying your videos a lot. Seeing your amazing cosplay projects has given me some more directed motivation to learn to sew. I think I'd like to learn to make costumes like you do! They're so complex and fun and artistic so they interest me more than regular clothes, haha. (I'll try starting simple, of course! Gotta get a solid foundation in the basics, or something, right?) But I hope I'll eventually learn to make really cool stuff like you and so many other cosplayers do. Your videos are already very helpful because you explain things very well and in an engaging, exciting way, so if you ever want to make a video like what Masked Foxx suggested, I can assure you it'll be my go-to guide XD I hope you continue having fun with your projects! Fun fact. Most sewing machines have a number on them. If you put the brand name and the number (for instance Singer 501a is my sewing machine) in YT or the search bar, you can find tutorials on how to thread it (because every machine is slightly different), how to put in the bobbin, ect. This has saved my BUTT so many times.

hi!!! i just felt inspired to comment by the little part at the end about your community! i am watching this video while sewing my very first fully handmade cosplay at the ripe ol age of 30. i found your videos while reliving dragoncon 2022, which was the first time i'd made a full con roster of cosplays (which I heavily modified but from existing thrifted/found clothing, but did not really sew besides some handsewing). doing those cosplays made me so happy that i finally invested in a sewing machine, and now i've been watching your videos as i work on my own projects (and sometimes cry in despair over them). thank you so much for making these videos, and for 'overexplaining' sewing things--because i don't know them, and it is so very very helpful to me as i'm inspired by your pieces and cosplays! hope you're having a great 2023 so far :) congrats on your current success, and in advance for the many successes i'm sure are to come.

Thank you for the over explanations lol, I'm just starting to sew with a beginner sewing machine as a cosplayer, and your videos help me so much! :) Always excited when you post, and I think I might have a new favorite creator to watch!

I'm not a complete novice at sewing but your explanations are so next level that I learned a lot even though this beginner project. I've been watching your costume videos too, not necessarily because I could dream of making anything as complicated in the foreseeable future, but because I admire the your art and it inspires me to try and learn more ❤❤❤

I love when you over explain. I've been sewing since before you were born (said in a nice tone) and I learn something everytime I watch. Keep it up.

I'm not really a beginner at this point, but I still learned a couple new things here. Thank you! ❤ One of the little things that really helped me in the beginning was downloading my sewing machine manual. It sounds like a lame tip, but it really helped me so much! Having the instructions immediately available to pull up on my phone made things like winding a bobbin and threading the needle less of an overwhelming obstacle, because i didn't have to fumble around for instructions and I knew they were correct for my specific machine.

Hey I just wanna say I recently found your channel and it's been really inspiring to me. I've always loved cosplay, and I've done a little bit, but I've never really properly learned to sew to be able to make what I want. I have a sewing machine, but I've always found the process of learning how to work with a sewing machine overwhelming. Your videos have given me the drive and inspiration to finally learn. So thank you

Very nice and informative. And that ending, ooooh maaaan I'm very much looking forward to that deep dive. Lastly: congrats on that milestone, very well deserved.

Your videos are amazing! I found the "can this cosplay win an international contest" video and started to binge your videos, and they inspired me to start sewing. I made one of the beaded strawberries from the strawberry dress video and I was so proud lmao i showed it to a bunch of my friends at school. im gonna start sewing my own cosplays but first im gonna work on stitching somewhat decently lol. your videos are so informative and they manage to keep me, someone with the attention span of a fruit fly, entertained for longer periods of time than most videos. thank you for all your hard work!

i love your channel and the videos. I've been getting into cosplay recently and these help a lot to get better understanding of how everything works. I know basically nothing about sewing or crafting so these little Over explained tutorials are more than I could ever hope for. Thank you so much

Okay, so, I've sewn before (helped my sister make quilts), but I never knew how the magic was done! Thank you for explaining it! It makes amazing sense!
