When people first start with raw-to-grade, they tend to gravitate towards cheap cards, but a lot of people would say you can't make money that way.
I took a look at what I've graded and sold to see how much profit I've made on cheap cards, strategies for what to get graded and more.

Just came across this video. Really cool to see you crunch your numbers down and share that with everyone! Excited to see more! I've definitely been roasted for grading cheap cards but there is a lot of profit to be made there for those who want to put in a little more work.

Great video! the answer to that question is easy: "it depends on the collector". People who make a living off of cards, yes, it might not be worth it. For me, this is ONLY a hobby. I buy raw cards for $1-$3 dollars and grade them and sell them to local sports cards stores. I always come close to at least doubling my money. The key is education. Educating yourself on what is being bought.

The problem I’ve found with grading low end cards is the amount of time and work required for a $30-$50 return. And sell fees are a pain. But I guess if you enjoy doing it the time spent is not a deal breaker for you. My personal opinion is grading a card with a raw value under $30 does not make sense.
