I took the quiz and I am upset that Avalancha was not accepted for the Guatemala coaster. Given that it is an obscure ride, I feel that there should be multiple answers to help those who somehow know what it is get the points. I'm fine with Avalanche counting, but the real name is Avalancha.
Oop sorry about that I’ll change it and make Avalancha a second answer. On rcdb it was called avalanche I’m pretty sure so I didn’t know that was wrong. Sorry again
Fun fact- RCDB says that’s steel curtain has 8 inversions because they think that the banana roll is one inversion. Personally I think this is moderately stupid.
Yeah the banana roll is one element, but you flip upside down twice, so it's two inversions. I don't know why they count Cobra roll's as two and not banana rolls, they're practically the same thing.
@@lukebramer3283 In a cobra roll, you go fully back up, but on a banana roll, you maintain a vertical angle of 135°, the minimum degree to be counted as an inversion. Also, Takabisha was the first to have a banana roll and Fuji-Q said it is one inversion, so it is one inversion, just like how CF invented the hyper, giga, and strata coaster, so they get to define it.
Nice job! Got 38/56, or 68% I got some just by hearing about them sometime in the part, while others I knew of. I knew by the end that I was missing several B&M inverts. Sadly, I missed Banshee again, don't know how I always forget that one! Flight Deck and Silver Bullet I should've remembered too. Copperhead Strike was the only other big miss... don't know how I jumped over it thinking about Carowinds several times! Also, nice job getting Twisted Typhoon, I thought you'd forget it again (like in Vekoma quiz) after moving out of Georgia but you remembered! Just waiting for the inevitable "Every Coaster in America" quiz lol
Others may have already recommended this: For this type of quiz, the solutions are ordered alphabetically by coaster name. Going forward, use that to your advantage to fill in the gaps.
45/56, so 80%. Missed a couple SLC's, both flying dutchmans, and a couple Gerstlauers. That being said, this might be the highest score I've gotten on one of these!
46/56 I got. I think I did pretty good! Of course I never heard of that one in guatemala, and I didn't know how to spell Ednor. I did miss wildfire (SDC) and copperhead strike somehow. Love these quiz videos!
You did really well. I got 37 here; I spend most of the quiz trying to remember Riddler's Revenge, haha. I missed the Florida coasters (Hulk and Kraken) which I should've got. Didn't know the Flying Dutchmans had 5 either.
I am embarrassed to say that I missed Maxx Force. I was stumped as to which other 2019 coaster had that many inversions! Also missed Batwing, that one wasn't too obvious for me I guess. 42/56 wasn't a great score, but I was surprised there are so many coasters with 5+
I like to go by ride types, starting with B&M Inverts. Especially the Batman clones. I ended up getting 89%. 50 out of 56. Missed the two at LaRonde and Gatekeeper, plus three I would have never guessed.
53/56, somehow missed Green Lantern. I go by state just like you and I thought about Green Lantern when typing Riddler's Revenge for California but I still missed it haha.
So what do people consider to be the number of inversions for X2? I think of the raven turns as proper inversions but I don't know if this question has a straightforward answer.
I think officially its based off how many times the track flips over, so 2, but you probably flip more than that. Same with flyers, an inline twist isnt actually an inversion
Idea: To make these videos more entertaining, rather than just you doing a quiz, you could add footage of the coasters you are talking about or something
So I spelt silver bullet, superman at first texas, and farenheit wrong. I completely forgot about discovery kingdom, and I thought x flight had 3 inversions. 46/56
I got 54/56. The only two I missed were Avalancha in Guatemala (never would've got that) and Twisted Typhoon at Wild Adventures. The 1999 opening year really made me think it was an SLC but I just forgot that one.
46 ain't bad, but I really wish this quiz would take different variations of spelling into consideration. Especially for the coasters in another country. If you don't know the exact, exact (EXACT!) spelling of the ride, you're screwed.
